Whoa, beautiful work! It's always so nice to see, when People know their stuff and don't just "restore" old Motorcycles with not much love, but you really did this with all your heart! Thank you!
Awesome restoration! That bike looks better than new. Maybe running a bit rich from the smoke out of the exhaust and the sound of the engine, but you may have it set up that way on purpose until the new rings seat. Probably the best restoration I've seen on RUclips so far. Congrats!
It's a 2-stroke dude. It's not that they run rich, it's that they burn oil to keep the cylinders and rings lubricated or it would burn up. Yeh, it's a crappy design, when it comes to environment issues, but when it comes to actual performance on a racetrack, nothing compares to a 2-stroke engine. And that's because they have a power stroke for every crank revolution. But is it twice the power? No because the breathing and bypasses that take place cannot be perfect. It's like you can't have your cake and eat it too sort of thing. However, it would fair to say that they have 50 - 70% more power per displacement than their 4-stroke counter part. The fuel savings is only recognized when you match the power ratios. But a lot has been done to 4 strokes to increase output, such as focusing on getting more torque out of an engine that has better torque characteristics than a 2-strokes to begin with. By working with piston size, allowing for 3 and or 4 valves per cylinder instead of two. Better water cooling. Though 4 strokes will never be as powerful as a 2-stroke when it comes to actual displacement, it's torque curve almost achieves some common numbers where the back tire meets the track.
@@robertblahnik7685the only reason why I think it was smoking a 38:53 lot because he rebuilt the top end and using oil that’s burning plus the gas oil or he over mixed it with is not a problem I agree on your comments
Simply amazing!! This my new favorite youtube channel. I'm restoring a '74 Kawasaki triple. I work so slowly not to make any mistakes don't know if I'll ever get it done. These gentlemen just dig in do it! Wish they lived close so I could call on their expertise and experience to help me on my project. If I tore the bike apart like they did, it would all go in the trash because I'd have no idea how to put it back together.
All that smoke; You need a new cylinder ring; tighter the opening Motor oil is escaping through the cylinder ring into the exospipe and burns it because the pipe is hot 🔥 He should know that; his the mechanic
Really liked how you just took it all apart then put all the warn out shit back together after you cleaned it off lol. also the plants you pushed up by the bike to make it more buried was a nice touch.
Awesome awesome job…… really liked this episode, need more people around like you guys, in a throw away world… you bring life, thanks, wish I could take her for a rip lol, keep it up, thanx
....I love fixing stuff up and all, especially old bikes/quads.... But, a total engine teardown is FAR beyond my scope. Hats off, this was cool as shit my man!
Nice, even tires are not flat , and tank was not sanded down to rust faster, carburetor looks almost mint inside , i have seen that it's already nasty after 1 year 😅
Great job, bike looks fantastic. I think you may need to adjust the mixture on the carb though as its smoking way too much. That or new piston rings are needed.
Super video y buen montage, kedo nueva la moto,lo único me gustaría saber si es normal la emisión de humo ,me parece demasiado para hoy en día,da la impresión ke kema aceite
Cool, but why didn't you clean the bike first and the spray penetrating spray on ALL the nuts and bolts before you even started loosening anything? Curious to know...
Nice looking resto but I couldn’t have not done it without doing the classic factory Honda red looks to be a 87 to a 90 that think should rip pretty good once break in is done

I do not want to be negative but the parts of that motorcycle do not look like it was abandoned in the rain and sun, very good job

Agree..burning far too much oil..
so much of hard work guys keep it up very difficult work ❤❤❤❤❤
Makes me want to find an old bike and send it to you to restore. Excellent work
I’ve seen a ton of horrible restoration projects on RUclips. This is not one of those at all. Amazing job guys. Well done.
yessss I think the same
I also thought, how good everyone has a budget.
ONLY ONE WORD FOR THIS RESTORATION
☀️ SUPER 🌟 EXCELLENT 🌟

I think you an still find parts catalogue for that bike.
How many cc?
Take lots of photos with your phone. I find it helps when you go back weeks later and scratch your head. You learn from your mistakes anyway.

දැකපු සුපිරි ම වැඩ්ඩා..👍💕
This is a very great video. Sometimes it’s the little things. No music, great angle, attention to detail, good selection on motorcycle. Amazing work
Très bon travaille bravo ! Sa lui redonne une nouvelle vie 🥰
....I love fixing stuff up and all, especially old bikes/quads.... But, a total engine teardown is FAR beyond my scope. Hats off, this was cool as shit my man!
Actually these sort of two stroke bikes are the easiest to restore. 2 strokes are so mind numbingly simple compared to 4 strokes.
I had an 86 CR250. Brings back memories.
Well done. I liked it very much. You guys are talented on your skills. Congrats.
Son los mejores haciendo restaraciones
Amazing job bringing this motorcycle back to life!
You are crazy, disassemble yes but reassemble ;o( TOTAL RESPECT !!! 👍👍👍
Why is it smoking so much? It seems light for oil, is that coolant? I almost forgot it wasn't an air-cooled engine.
Yep it’s oil. For 2 stroke engines like this one the fuel is mixed with oil so the exhaust is white like that.
Maybe that's because engine is full restored and when install piston inside, usualy put a lot of oil inside cylinder.
Never heard of 2 stroke engine? They always smoke like that
@@mdariff839 nah, like that not always
Thanks Y'all!
you guy's needed a dirtbike way out there in them parts for sure. nice work! now you need to find a few more..
A true masterpiece. Now it's time to have some fun on it!
wow brilliant job guys well done 🎉🎉🎉
Amazing work but I think there red a white would have been better choice but again amazing work
I'm amazed you remember/know where all the engine parts go!
Nice, even tires are not flat , and tank was not sanded down to rust faster, carburetor looks almost mint inside , i have seen that it's already nasty after 1 year 😅
I like how rough and aggressively you take it apart, only thing missing, is you cutting the wires and cables when they don’t come off in one try.

Real men ride in sandals!! nice work
I love motorcycles so retro nice restoration looks factory
I'm OK at dismantling things, it's putting them back together after. How do you remember where all the little bits go
Great job, bike looks fantastic. I think you may need to adjust the mixture on the carb though as its smoking way too much. That or new piston rings are needed.
awesome job! watched it on half speed
Great job looks awesome love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning running a lil rich tho lol
Great job guys!
Great job fellas! Now put some shoes on when riding!! 😂

Brother, when you ride on off road, do not sit on the seat, you should stand up in order to control the bike!
perfect restoration!
Cool, but why didn't you clean the bike first and the spray penetrating spray on ALL the nuts and bolts before you even started loosening anything?
Curious to know...

Hi friends. One question, if you rebuilt the engine because it puts out a lot of smoke, it's not normal. Greetings
Great restoration🔥🔥

Nice looking resto but I couldn’t have not done it without doing the classic factory Honda red looks to be a 87 to a 90 that think should rip pretty good once break in is done

Fantastic!
Tienes los neumáticos muy bien inflados para haber estado mucho tiempo parada
amazing work and the bike looks so nice
Why has the petrol tank been grinded and then allowed to rust, also why does all the mud have "run" marks?

Someone definitely just took a shovel and threw dirt on the engine.
Súper cool and Genial
Fantastic job until it started smoking u need less oil
Typical Honda - fuel tank rusts thru as soon as you look at it.
