I have an N79S that gives the "Bumper error" mostly when hitting a wall almost head on, but not quite. Occasionally it will do "side brush error" instead. It can't operate for more than a few minutes without an error. I've opened it up and cleaned it thoroughly, and all the parts (the side brushes, the metal springs in the front of the bumper, the bumper clips you highlight in this video) all move freely. Any ideas of what else I could do? I would really like to keep this operational.

The bumper is physically functioning and not stuck at all, but it doesn't stop when pressed. The sensors are available but keen to see if you have any videos on how to replace them. Thanks so much
We have the bumper stuck warning issue. Have opened and checked. The two spring loaded levers that get pressed when bumper hits an object are working fine. There is no dust or water ingress. But soon as first object hits bumper Deebot 900 Ozmo stops are starts giving bumper is stuck warning. Any advice greatly appreciated or where in UK are private repair centres?
Power on & start...once start moving then plz press bumper with ur hand from left, right & front sides....then u will understand which Side of the bumper is giving error...then just check from that side...maybe you find some dust, rust or wire damage in bumper... possible plz try...if still same then bumper need to replace

I have the Deeebot Ozmo 950, but when I tried to follow your instructions to remove the bumper the model is clearly different to the one in the video and it won't release (come off) the same way. Do you have any other videos showing how to remove the bumper for the 950 series? Many thanks.

Yes that's tru different models principal is different...but not difficult if you see some other videos you can find same model as well...for bumper only in Ozmo 950 put deebot up side down.... remove all bottom chassis screw n underneath the bumper screw as well.... remove bottom chassis plate...for bumper removal no need to remove bigger inner screw...just remove bumper panel n remove bumper...if u feel bit difficult to take out the bumper assembly from deebot then just remove smal front plate on the top of the deebot next to LDS...just pull up there's no screw in that plate..only locks...will pull up eaisly then very easy to remove bumper...same way can fix it back

I have an ozmo T8 aivi and it says the bumper is stuck. But when the bumper is pulled off, both of the bumper switches move freely. How else do you fix this issue?
Plz check my other videos related to this issue....but it looks like front anti drop sensors set which comes with bumper sensors need to replace...or u can wipe the bumper first n see weather it start working
I have watched that video. I have used my camera, on my phone to pick up the infrared sensors on all the anti drop sensors. But still have the same bumper is stuck issue.

Or might be dusty...if all ok still giving error then plz replace front anti drop sensors full set with bumper sensors...if u have other T8AIVI then can rest replacing bumper weather bumper ok or not... but Very rare bumper physical spoil.... normally sensors behind bumper spoil
I have ECOVACS DEEBOT DX9G model (OZMO 950 series) purchased in 2021 Apr in India. Has worked very well for almost 2 years and was very useful in pandemic days. It has same problem as described in this video. " My bumper is stuck " . I followed as per this video. I could not open the front bumper totally , but as I observed thru the gap (after opening the ring shaped plastic cover attached to the bumper) the switch design is different than what you have shown in video. However there was not stuck or sticky operation of the switch . I could not take away the front bumper . Please let me know how to open the front bumper for my model. Point no 2 : I fitted back the unit after thorough cleaning . Incidentally there is some improvement . Earlier problem will start within first 1or 2 minutes of cleaning cycle. Now it occured after almost 10 minutes of cleaning. (Checked this two times.) Can you please guide me.
1) I had the same issue re removing the bumper, it needs slightly lifted upwards with care. You will hear strong clicking sounds when the bumper unclicks. 2) the two levers inside were different to this video and fine and not stuck so I cleaned the sensors with ear buds but no Improvement. I’m wondering I need to replace the sensors.
Great video. I have N79s doing 1 and 1/2 circle to the right then to the left and giving 1 beep with just blue light flashing. I reset it as well as changed the right wheel motor still same issue. Would you be able to advice....😅 Thank you in advance.. 😄
Hi, I have done all you have shown. Have even cleaned the bumper dark red screen inside and outside. Bumper is not stuck and springs work perfectly. It started this error once a month, then once a week then all the time. Can you help fix?
Plz remove Front Roller...I think there's some dust stick under the front roller... underneath got sensors...I think those sensors blocked with dust that's why it's giving error
@@madharry6792 behind the bumper under main board in front got one sensors pannel same length as bumper...plz check those sensors might dusty or wire of those sensors might be loose... reconnect those connectors n try....

Actually its not bumper issue... behind the bumper got 2 clips that side Clip sensor is faulty or motherboard issue

Hello I tried this, but my bot keeps bumping and driving against any obstacle. Do you have any hint there? :)
Make sure there are no scratches on bumper glass...u can use polish to make it clear so sensors can sense...
If no scratches but still hitting walls & obstacles then bumper sensor need to replace
