Double jumping is hilarious. Its in so many games but there's really only two ways to make it happen. The first is technology based which exerts force underneath you that simulates ground and allows you to exert the force of a second force. The problems with stabilization and size is a pain that way. The second is that you literally exert enough force to compress the air under your feet into a solid so you can push off of it. Put simply these forces if used on solid earth would crack the crust. I still love double jumps.
