Micaela is one of my favorite youtuber's too. When I was in Fukuoka in the summer of 2016 for studying abroad (and in Kitakyushu earlier that year), I secretly hoped I would be walking down the street and see her. XD No such luck. But it makes me super happy that all the vloggers I like in Japan, like and are friends with each other, lol. Also, those cakes looked super delicious.

Omg! I stayed at the Via hotel around the corner from there when I was in Tokyo last year! I remember the 7-eleven that’s around the corner too!!! I remember doing laundry at a place near this tattoo shop and thinking it was weird that there was a tattoo shop since Japanese people tend to not like tattoos. That’s so crazy!!
When my husband and I were in Japan in 2015, we had wanted to get tattoos done there, but at the time when we did some searches, we couldn't find any place that would do walk ins. We both knew what we wanted for our Japan tattoos (we have Celtic knots from Ireland for our first tattoos), so I'm quite sad and yet excited to hear there's a shop who will do walk ins! Definitely bookmarking this video! I plan on going back to Japan someday so maybe we'll be able to get tattoos there ^_^

a great tattoo is priceless I spent 5 months a total of 24 hours just on on my upper arm piece it is so beautiful and worth every penny . My artist in Seattle is clean professional and so talented. I return to him many times and can not wait for my next one. I am almost done with my arms . Not sure if I am going to spread out to any other part of the body ...yet. I love all my pieces I would never remove them

I thought there was still a huge amount of stigma against tattoos in Japan, is it less so in Tokyo? I have 3 tattoos which are easily covered but I was still worried about having them in Japan.
Great video, tattoos look amazing, my younger brother is a tattoo artist And the work he does looks great So if you want one get it. Just be sure of what you want You'll be stuck with it or laser removal which is expensive and almost as painful I hear
If I ever get around to going to Japan, I'd definitely want to get a traditional Japanese tattoo to commemorate my experience! Thanks for sharing what a tattoo shop looks like there! I've always been curious!
i really wanna visit traditional japan and hopefully a bath house (onsen?) and i know they’re not big on tattoos so perhaps after i visit one i’ll get my tattoo.. i want to get it in japan though bc what i want is in japanese (a quote that i live by) and i feel like a japanese artist would be more confident in doing hiragana and kanji and possibly point out any mistakes if i didn’t type it correctly lol
