new to taking pictures of toy and your videos have helped me a good deal. Some good information! Working on making my own toy and hoping by the time they're complete I can have some knowledge to making the images look good. Thank you!
Love your videos Matt and you provide so much invaluable content for your followers both new and old… an odd question for you bro but I’ve recently been given a mirrorless camera (Panasonic Lumix GX880) as my first ‘proper camera’ but wanted to ask if this would be better than my 15pro max for toy photography or not in your opinion? Thanks bro
Thank you Chris! Glad I’m able to help. Unfortunately I don’t have too much knowledge or experience with that camera. The 15pro might be easier to get good shots with, but trying out and using the Panasonic can be good practice while still producing good images. Especially since it was given to you, I think it’s worth trying out. Try to take the same photos with both and compare. I would be interested to know how it holds up to the 15pro. Sorry if that doesn’t help much :(
@@amusingking Thanks Mat and please, it should be me apologising to you for landing this one on you lol.. yep, I'll do both and when my confidence restores again, i'll upload to my outer-rims profile on Instagram and perhaps you can judge them for me 😅...hope you're keeping well the other side of the pond and the weather is better there than it is here in damp, cold UK 😆
Yo, thanks so much! Since I have an iPhone and Macbook, I use Airdrop. Haven't noticed any loss in quality when transferring from the computer to phone.
Aw dang, someone might have a better solution, but if you have Dropbox or Google Drive, you can save it on one device and grab it from the other and should be full quality.
I have limited photoshop skills and I never use camera raw. Is there anything camera raw can do that Lightroom can’t do? I generally use Lightroom for editing. Another question: What is that background you have behind your figure? Looks cool and I’d like to know more about it. Thanks!
Hey, Kelly! I haven’t used Lightroom much recently, but I know they added a lot of features and tools that have made it even better. Besides any of those extra features like subject select and sky select, all the tabs and adjustments in Camera Raw are identical to Lightroom. If I wasn’t planning on using any effects, I would use Lightroom. And if you mean that blue board, it’s from V-Flat World. They have a lot of great products for photography in general but also a focus on product photography. Definitely worth checking out. Quality is really good.
Your videos are way too good. I feel like once people catch on, your channel is going to blow up. Keep up the great work!
Yoooo, that means so much. I definitely have a blast making videos and have a ton of ideas. Glad you like them. Thanks again!
