Thank you for posting this very good quality analog recording of Super Bowl 19! This was a very special Super Bowl because this was Bill Walsh's best team, and his game strategy was masterful! Coach Shula was also one of the finest coaches in NFL history and his team was awesome! Dan Marino had a spectacular season in 1984! Having the President also do the coin toss was very special!
Yes! Totally agree with you! The commercials also bring back so many memories about the social culture of the 1980s! I was 16 years old when I watched Super Bowl XIX when it was broadcast live on television.
Best copy I have seen so far. Thanks for uploading. I’ve also not seen the pre-game and all the other stuff since the day I watched it live as a 10 year old hard core Joe Montana fan. Joe was my hero growing up, to the point I became a KC fan for 2 years. I definitely miss this era of the NFL. It just seemed so much more about the team than the individual player on the field. There was no constant dancing and celebrating every time you make a damn tackle. It’s hard to watch. I’m enjoying Brock Purdy now. His elevation and story brought me back to watching the Niners. i hadn’t watched a game since Joe retired. Well only these old games but I guess you can’t count that.
Despite being a lifelong Democrat I can say that while I often disagreed with his policies the Man had an indelible decency something sorely missed in Politics When I was in the Navy he was my commander in chief proud of to have served for him.
After facing the up and coming (soon great) Giants and Bears defense, Miami’s struggling unit must have been like a holiday. Though the opposite was true concerning the offense the 49ers were facing, their strength in the secondary and the D line offset Miami’s strengths at receiver and O Line.
No defense, non existent OL, Marino inaccurate under pressure, SF defense great at blocking rare runs attempted total honor at the 49ers and I've been a Dolphins fan since 1982 😞
All year I figured San Fran was on a mission to win in '84 after getting hosed in '83 at Washington. Miam had a really good year but San Fran was just a beast on offense & defense in '84. Niners were just one bad call away against Pittsburgh and they'd have been undefeated in '84. And I was a diehard Phinfan since '78.
Sorry if my presidential musings have offended the MAGAs of this world but truth sets us free and it can set MAGAs free as well just think(easier said than done)

Hugh McElhenny, Don Shula, Bill Walsh, Freddie Solomon, Dwight Clark, Frank Gifford, Don Meredith, and Ronald Reagan R.I.P
While you’re including TV people don’t forget Tom Landry.
It’s nice watching commercials that aren’t woke, football that’s actually football and seeing an American president that made America great
Thanks for posting this first clear copy I have seen.

Let’s not forget Keith Fahnhorst, Fred Dean and Carl Monroe RIP
On the Dolphins Andra Franklin, Robert Sowell, and Reggie Roby.

49ers were awesome in the 80's.
49ers defense never got the credit they deserved in the 80's.
6:25 is quite possibly my favorite commercial of all time.

CG2 Ribbon Cut 27:30
55:36, that kid kinda looks like young Tom Brady.
No draws or screens out of the shotgun for Miami. No adjustments for Miami the whole game. Baffling

Love the “unusual camera!”
2:47:14: Teri Hatcher! 😊
I wondered how can I put this on DVD
What a disappointment. Too bad it was Miami's last SB trip.
It was close....but soloman fumbled....should have been a td for dolpins....
Niners 💪
