- ive wanted to do this for a while but never got around to it... welp, here it is!!

comments keep disappearing, and i want to let everyone know it's not my own doing. i get notified about them but then i go to the video and they arent there (and i dont seem to have any spam or held for review comments either).
two comments that have disappeared both said something like "why do you use bases, its ugly/wasting your talent". my answer to that is: because i can. i do make "my own art" and i dont post everything i make to this channel. people enjoy base edits, i do as well. i love watching them and theyre my own most popular videos most of the time. i have fun making them, therefore i make them. thats all there is to it.
and i advise all of your who think that bases waste talent and that theyre ugly or that theyre lazy to reconsider telling any vulnerable kids that their art isnt worth as much as other people's. bases are FUN and not only that, but they improve your linework, your color skills, your proportions (of hair and clothing and accessories), and your use of certain programs all without the intimidation of a huge blank page. i didnt use bases when i was younger, but i did trace. a LOT. and i can confidently say that tracing improved my skills and boosted them to the next level i needed to start working on my own. bases are a wonderful tool and i hope everyone thinking about telling someone otherwise will consider what i've said.
dragonairlover if someone says that you are wasting your talent then they are probably horrible at drawing from Scratch. Also I love the way you came up of the idea for their outfits I love it and they look so cute and pretty. Ahhhhhh
