I always felt she was a little manipulative, because even before she met Junko she pretended to have a disability and even tried to make the other Warriors of Hope commit suicide. After she met Junko she got worse. She always was terrible and manipulative but never had an outlet until she met Junko. Though I do suppose being in the Towa family pushed her over an edge with how they treated her. And I can see how she had her reasons just like Kotoko, Nagisa, Jataro, and Masiru.
