If you struggle with something I would recommend to look at references. You'll have it down after a few times. Also, think about where the bones in the wings are and how they would fold. I hope this helps :3
I struggle too with dragon/bat wings that are closed, but I still mnage to get it eventually lol Easier to do them when they're open wings.

How do you make the lines so smooth?
Eva Fox you might have to adjust settings on your tablet or in your art program, its usually called "smoothing". if youre using a mouse, then theres not much i can help you with - some programs do provide smoothing for mice/touchpads but i only know chickensmoothie oekaki does that. you can probably google how to get your lines smoother with whatever youre using.

flame blaze ah, i really had no other title for this other than that, so i dunno if it REALLY fits but... basically its "corrupted" because everyone ended up with villains/antagonists and the whole of equestria is hurt by it. everyone ends up pretty miserable or evil themselves. or a shut-in... but yeah, thats basically why.
