Day 1 was great. I do know as do you that it will get worse. I have watched another van person drive up to the Arctic Ocean. I know you guys will do it! Be safe.
Looking forward to the next part and seeing how your Jayco survives. I would be nervous taking my Jayco Baja over that length of dirt road. Looking forward to seeing how your rig does. I bent the axle on my Jayco in the past on dirt roads.
What dates were you on the Dempster? We did the drive, also towing a travel trailer, July 15-20. Worst section for us was 7 mile hill section on the way up. I was down 5 to 10 mph! was freshly graded on the way back south. It was great camping by and swimming in the Artic Ocean! Did develop a small leak in one of our trailer tires, and...a lot of DUST in the camper.
We went at the start of July! We found that the road is always changing and being graded so if someone told you X section is really bad, it could be totally fine the next day so you never really know. Glad you had a good time though!! It’s such an amazing adventure

This kind of road takes its toll for sure but you just have to go slow!

Lots of spare tires are recommended
I did not see if you aired down. That would be a first for me and carry a compressor.
Vaseline seals the door rubbers then wipe off.
