We had an incredible drive to Tuk in July this year, taking our Ember 201FBQ trailer all the way up the Dempster hwy.. you certainly experienced the fall colors, which hopefully we will see on our next visit to Tuk. Safe travels

You made it! I’ve been so invested in your journey all these months! It’s been entertaining and inspiring! I’ve been to a different part of the Arctic but I didn’t expect there to be trees in Inuvik.

Thank you so much for following our adventures this year! We really love seeing you here in the comments.
It was so interesting watching the trees get smaller and smaller as we headed north. Before they completely disappeared, they just looked like miniature versions of trees were used to seeing further south.

I can't believe I sat and watched this whole video. I was so locked in though. I know I'll never go myself, so I enjoyed watching you two along your journey. I was also on the edge hoping you didn't have any vehicle/tire issues. So now I'm just left to wonder where were those Cyber Trucks getting their power? Time to search the internet for their journey. God bless you both on all your future travels. UPDATE: The two Cyber Trucks that past you in the video were indeed the first two to visit the Arctic. They were donating chargers to places when they needed power so that other electric vehicles could also make the trip. How awesome that you got to witness the electric landscape change along your trip.

Wow, thanks SO MUCH for the kind words! You just made our day. While we made it to Tuk without any issues, we unfortunately got a flat on the way back down. It was quite the ordeal and we JUST published a video about it now! 👇
      ruclips.net/video/CcuFZKKZQl8/видео.html
We had a chance to speak with one of the content creators that was riding in the Cybertrucks. I was really hoping they'd be staying the night in Tuktoyaktuk too, but they got there and left for Inuvik the same day. Yes, it was so cool to be seeing an EV first on the Dempster. Makes me wonder what the charging infrastructure will look like there in 10 years.
      Thanks so much for watching!

You guys are so brave! Such an amazing adventure and you will never forget it! Jess was so calm when you were saying the kayak was filling up with water. I admire her! We are definitely watching the next journey too, (We just moved from Canada to our house on the Mexican west coast and it was nerve wracking but nothing compared to what you are doing). Keep on going and stay safe!

Interesting to see your perspective and experiences to complement ours (we also drove the Dempster in Aug'24). Thanks. The clip of the upturned Jayco was unsettling, though it did appear to lack sway bars so . . . . . On the other hand (ruclips.net/video/mr8XSgE4f7M/видео.html) for heaven's sake, please drive with both hands on the wheel, especially on that type of road!!
