Because they want all the power without the blame. They want to order their wives around and be absolved of the liability/consequences at the same time.
to be fair before she pulled the trash can back in the yard she said “oh your father must have forgot” or something similar implying that he normally did it but she pulled it in to be helpful since he “forgot”
@@strawberry_dino05 Somehow I feel that he often, "forgot"... 😉
Y’all really do love blanket generalizations don’t you?
not the "sadness and sorrow"😭😭😭
I havent watched this show yet, been enjoying all the shorts. Plus I like the fact that there are only a few 'well known' actors and actresses. The casting is wonderful, all the characters have great parts. Love watching Beth Anne ramping it up 😂😅😊
Gaslighting. The expression comes from an old movie, where a husband adjusted the gas lamps in a home while pretending the wife was going insane for noticing the flickering light. He wanted her to kill herself or leave. I think the movie is named "Gaslight."
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to know the origin of that word for ages. Not the practice, the original story!
Old black and white...which really works better....
Is this music from Naruto? It sounds so familiar.
yes it's a remix of sadness and sorrow i think
@@sentient.dumpling that is what I was thinking as well
I love Naruto’s soundtrack ❤
YES, I hope you'll find the music appropriate for this episode!
@@sentient.dumpling exactly!!!
She was so kind, so real and so earnest. What a swine he was... in every way.
I honestly feel like she is an incredible actress when you notice her trying so hard to play it cool
What he did was so cruel 😮
This is the most intetesting story in the show. Other two are not so exiting to watch
I was married to a man with that demeanor, smooth, sophisticated, charming, handsome, a Gaslighter every time he opened his mouth. Just about killed me, till I left.
The naruto ost remix in the background is throwing me off lol
Where can I watch this in the UK?
Typical malignant narcissist.
This show is sooo much underrated, its should be on Netflix ❤
Appa.thankyku for sharing this link and giving us the opportunity to listen to this fiery promise word session, it was just so powerful🔥. I need to prepare myself for the divine visitation from the Lord, recognises the times and seasons of the visitations and the blessedness of the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Super charged by the promises for the month of March. The divine visitation can bring the biggest breakthrough I need or end up in devastation if I remain blinded and familiar. Thankyou appa for breaking us from every limitations and for the grace and impartation and empowerment. The Lord will visit each of us uniquely most importantly to restore our first love and to invoke a deeper love for Jesus. So blessed appa, big things are coming in March 2024🙌
not the Naruto music playing over this clip
How do I watch this??
The Naruto sounding the background is killing me.
Anyone else have flashbacks to Zabuza and haku?
THE SAD NARUTO REMIX MUSIC IS SENDING ME
What is the background music called?
Sadness and sorrow. Naruto
Ok yeah sad heartbreaking but naruto music is uh… an interesting choice
I had to turn up the volume for the Sadness and Sorrow Naruto Background music lol 😂
I’ve got to watch this show now that I’ve seen clips from it. I love this lady
Spoiler please? Does she kill him right away? How?
so she made a plan with another woman who had a violent and abusive husband where the woman would leave a note on her bed saying she left her husband to be with this man and her husband in a fit of rage grabbed his gun and went to this womans house to shoot the man. this woman then threw an empty gun to her husband so when her husband fired it he would know she did it on purpose and then the other man shot him a bunch and he died and the abusive husband went to jail.
Its understandable that he doesnt tell her.
Who would confess that they were cheating the day their child died?
If you're a coward like him absolutely
It's more than just the cheating. He blamed her for their daughters death, made her feel guilty repeatedly for "leaving the gate open" when he knew the whole time it was his affair partner that did.
It wasn't the cheating g she was mad about. It was the fact that it was him that was responsible for the gate being open. Not her. It was his mistress he had over the house while she was gone with her daughter. They came home and he rushed the hussy out. The hussy left the gate open. That's how the daughter got out
He let his wife think it was her.
He blamed her.
He was cold and heartless to her
He gaslight her
He should have come clean from day one
I know, but still. I think most people wouldnt say the truth in this situation.
@@lovelightstars7239I don't think most people would be in a situation of spending years of blaming, gaslighting and emotionally torturing their spouse over their child's death that they absolutely 100% know wasn't the spouse's fault while also cheating on them constantly, but what do I know 🤷♀️
Goodwin is amazing in this show!!
Sorrow and sadness... Perfection
Does it really matter, who is at fault it is not bringing her back. Why would you cause more harm unless he did it maliciously?
He was having an affair and the mistress left the gate unlocked and to cover it up he blamed his wife for it for years
He gaslit her into thinking it was her fault and she completely blamed herself for the death of her child when in fact it was his fault. Honestly at that moment if he had told her the truth she would have called off the whole thing but he maliciously brought it up every time he wasn’t getting his way in their marriage.
Are you stupid dddd 😂😂😂😂
He made her feel guilty when his mistress did it while sneaking out of the house.
Well he did not do it to maliciously kill his daughter but he indeed had very malicious affairs going on that caused his daughter to die, such as cheating. His fcking mistress left the gate open and he gaslit his wife into thinking it was her fault just so he wouldn't be caught cheating. As if that wasn't bad enough, he kept reminding her how it was "her fault" every single damn time he wanted to put her down.
I suppose you're right; it probably does not matter whose fault it was unless whoever it was did it maliciously. But I guess you should tell that to the "husband" first.
Bro just signed his death warrant
This was what made her seal the fate on her decision. UGH this show is SO GOOD
Playing Sorrow and Sadness an excellent choice.
He was also gaslighting her in another episode for not being that perfect mother and that leading to daughters death. He blamed her when it was convenient for him to keep Beth in line, feeling guilty.
I think that this behavior led Beth to killing Rob. Not him hiding the truth, but blame he put on her with which she had to live every day for years.
She has an incredible patience!!!
Bless you for having the explanations at the top
This is one of the best scripts I've seen in a long time actually. He's a victim, and she is the ultimate victim, because of his victimization.
Women don’t ask questions they don’t already know the answers to❤
I'll take "all the time for $600 Alex"😂😂😂3
The naruto background music 😂
Not the NARUTO MUSIC LOL
I can’t even look at the actor the same way any more 😂 he’s in Handmaids Tale and I’m actually feeling sorry for Serena Waterford 😂
The show is Why Women Kill on Paramount+ and it’s fucking PHENOMINAL..
“You’ve made this so much easier” followed by the most intense finale scene with her handing him an intentionally empty gun…
Great show- Loved her!
She gave him every chance in the world
I never understand the cheating... I mean I have been cheated on. On two different occasions and two different ppl ... Anyway the reason I don't understand is if you're tired of me end the relationship ur in first...😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite series 😢❤
The look in her eyes at the end say "you're dead to me".
Usually, when someone asks you a question like this, they know something that you don't think they know. Or at least they think they know something.
Such a good show. I wish it was still on.
Love that series, wish they had more seasons
Even in that moment, she calls him "my darling"...😢
He was the worst kind of husband. Especially letting her believe their daughters death was her fault. He was a monster. 😢
She even got him drunk to loosen up 😂
