NELSONS PATCH CAMPSITE , WALCOTT , NORFOLK , A Superb location was the summary we decided on for this place , a mile from the beautiful norfolk beach with lovely views via a choice of paths with a convenience store , ice cream parlor and chip shop all on the front , Good coastal paths in both directions for walkers and the beach was great!
Phone & TV Signal was good - Entrance is by ANPR
All pitches were average size and fully serviced
We enjoyed our stay and would return

Finally eating fish & chips without heartburn after the countless journeys done on my non elec bikes & being out of breath all the time was great , i enjoyed it so much more , so here's the bike used in the video

We are going to Nelsons patxh Thursday ! Really enjoy yor videos .we have been off the rode since I had full on stroke, oct 2021 but have come a long way ,and have 2 trps out this year, with this bei g our 3rd....poor Peter is my wheelchair pusher now so we might only get as far as the pub 1😅😅😅
You certainly give that camera a rough old time and it still survives, I remember the river dredging videos. Great to see the chip run back , and a good call on getting the nearest chip shop out of the two , although Kirsty did say the other one was only 1 or 2 miles further ( yea right ! ) sh did give a little evil laugh . 😘looked a nice site and a reasonable price too . Pity it was too hot especially for the dogs . Hope you get peace of mind with the noise from the van 🤞take care 🚐👍
hi eric hope you are well , yes it was a lovely little site ideal location not far from the front , we are currently at pinewoods for kirsty’s birthday tomorrow so back on the bike for another chippy run to french’s fish bar , can’t wait for that one it’s been a while 👍😀🐟🚴🏻

And guess what, following your advice and thanks for the link, we bought some blinds for the cassette awning, fantastic idea. I think the tape is to stop the Intercooler Hose protection sleeve moving about? Looks a good spot you found! Everytime recently we have tried to book Pinewoods they have been full!
spot on pete that’s exactly what that tape is for i’ve literally just found out , had tyres fitted earlier today and they looked underneath and said that tape on both ends had come loose , pinewoods has become really busy lately , we had to book this trip way in advance !
That looked like another great campsite. It was a shame about the weather! It’s not often the heat is the issue but with dogs you have to be so careful. We’re in Devon but we must get Pinewoods booked for September because we love it there. When you said it’s so busy there, I thought you only have yourself to blame! 🤣🤣 You should be on commission. We’re away for five weeks and we left Cornwall this morning and all we kept saying while we were there was, it’s not as good as Pinewoods, the beaches aren’t as good as Norfolk. 🤔 Thanks for sharing another excellent video.
hi sylv hope you are all well , hope devon is nice ive always wanted to visit north devon it looks so nice , one day maybe 🤔, we are currently at pinewoods and it’s soooo busy , yes i blame that idiot walking around with a camera showing it to everyone 😂😂 we barely got a pitch ourselves! it’s packed here , still love it though we was early on the beach this morn and kirsty went into town on the bike after , we saw some seals as well so been brilliant so far , take care both and safe travels

hi paul cheers , the chairs came from the caravan accessories shop in west runton , norfolk. , the bottom bits are add ons they simply connect to the chair and hey presto , you have a lounger ! we love them although a bolt came out last week luckily we found it

Nice watch as usual guys, we like it down there. Usually stayed at the Lighthouse , draft Leffe is a pull. We were at Pinewoods last week , wasn’t too busy there was spaces spare mid week but busier at weekend. Best wishes H and M

hi guys yes no problem at all , i’d say all the suffolk and north norfolk area is nice , plenty of places to stay both coastal and inland , id definitely recommend pinewoods in wells next to sea , norfolk , purely for location and convenience of a town , a harbour , a lovely beach and woods all within walking distance , not the cheapest of sites but all pitches are fully serviced and quite big , i’ve done a few videos from there ,Seacroft C&MH Club site , cromer , another nice one , not forgetting the Sandringham club sites , 2 of them next to each other , one C&MH the other C&Caravanning , again nice wooded walks from there too , there’s so many

The poor pups looked done in with the heat, very sensible to decide to go home. Oh. no! what a shame about the car, glad it was only tape flapping, hope you get it all sorted out. We were at pinewoods fir two weeks beginning of June and the touring field was packed all the time, love the fish and chips and agree with Kirsty about walking into town, the deli on the Quy had the best coffee well fir me anyway. Our girls love the beach and water and those woods are lovely. Have a great time.
hi yes we love it there at pinewoods , especially if the weather is nice and little wind , i’ll try that deli out a few people have mentioned that in the past but we’ve never been , our dogs love the woods & such a huge beach , ideal , thanks &

Been the one in bacton fish and chips not bad there have to try the other one in Walcott when I’m down end of July
i’ll have to try the bacton chippy then next time , we’ll definitely go back to that site it’s in a convenient location

Hi Mick and Kirsty. Nelsons Patch was the first ever site we stayed on in 2021 with our other van and it had only it had only just opened. We didn’t have the weather you had and the electric wasn’t connected. We left a day earlier than planned because we didn’t have solar and the batteries were running down!!! Nice to see it again though. Birthday greetings Kirsty 🎉xx

We are going to Nelsons patch next Friday as a stop off on the way to Laburnham (favourite site). Stayed at the pub next door last year and walked into happisburgh, the coastal Erosion is amazing
yes i wanted to go to happisburgh just not enough time , had a glimpse of the pub site next door looked ok
Another nice looking overnighter and fish and chips enjoyed not out of breath for a change, we have throttles on our ebikes they are actually illegal to use on the road only legal on private land or off road but who's ever going to know , nice looking beach and some decent weather also, i do like your awning shade's if i used an awning I'd definitely have them, another enjoyable vlog 👍.
hi stephen yes it was nice little place convenient for the beach and coastal walks , never knew that throttle was illegal although i can see why , i bent down to pick the bag up holding onto the handle and the bike nearly shot off on its own 😂 , wont do that again !

Sorry Mike I should of said a twist and go throttle is only legal from zero to 3.7mph without pedaling at that speed it should cut out unless you are pedaling, hope that makes sense, our throttles don't cut out if we aren't pedaling but like I say, who knows

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel We enjoyed Ullapool very much loads to see & do. Good range of varied shops, supermarket, pub & bars, garage and two fish & chip shops! The campsite [ Broomfield holday Park] is right in the thick of it. Can recommend if your ever up the West coast of Scotland.

We been to Nelson’s patch 3 times now and we are off there again for August Bank holiday weekend.

We have done 2 new sites this weekend both CS sites 1 in Norfolk and 1 in Suffolk and both with Chip shops within cycling distance 😃

We stopped at the Lighthouse Inn next door and loved the area, we did wonder about that site as it looked odd being unmanned. I knew you’d win the lotto one day with paying that price for pinewoods 😂 glad the van was nothing bad tho! Cheers both happy birthday Kirsty for the 7th
we had a walk across and looked at the pub next door looked pretty good , yeah felt strange being unmanned but really enjoyed it loved the location , honestly rick the sound on camera was nothing like it sounded in reality, i honestly though a belt snapped , kirsty says thanks for the b’day wishes 👍😀
