- We Couldn’t have asked for more with this other great find , Local to us this time only a 30min drive , with farm shop on site and clean facilities and also within walking distance of the beautiful village of woolpit
A lovely chippy , Coop , bakers & Pub , what more would you need , the stroll into town would take about 25 mins via a gate on site leading to a path
We enjoyed our weekend there and would encourage others to try it

Agree with you 100% about Caravan Club prices theses days.
When I started around 20 years ago, CLs were only £5 a night although most had no electric. Club sites were around £12.
I am amazed today when I see what sites are charging just for a grass pitch with no electric!

Yes the prices have gone crazy lately and also surprised with the grass no elec pitches , I think it will just force more people to use CL’s and thats if we are lucky enough to get one !

Hi sandra , Yes it could be the maize fields we ended up going to vets & they gave them steroids it got so bad , they have calmed down now tho the tablets have worked a lot

Nice van Mike and looked at one myself recently. A couple of points I noted was that the automotive windows aren’t double glazed and I guess that would result in condensation. The other point was the lack of Fly Screen on the entrance door. But the price!!!!
Hi tony yes all vans crazy prices lately apparently due to shortages , lack of production etc , things like fly screens I assume would be optional extras and they would just fit one if asked but for current prices you’d expect most extra’s inclusive , same van 3 -4 years ago would have been 60k !

Bonjour hope the dog is on the mend, we used to have Staffie, also a (egg head) bull terrier and I think heavy stocky dogs on short legs tend to get limps etc as they get older, we used to give ours green limp mussel from Holland and Barrett seemed to do the trick, we aren't members of anything in the UK motorhome related but them cl sites you go on look fantastic everything you want, well kept nice dog walks and that one local to home so convenient what more could you want, we actually bought our motorhome very local to bury st Edmunds, GL cars I think it was called, good to see the chippy run again but I must admit for some reason they are better at the seaside, once again another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.

Oh the bike was awesome! , ET 2 has smooth gear changing it was a pleasure to ride , the other one was a death trap , it was a lovely place and very clean and well looked after , toilet and shower was immaculate , highly recommend

Hi, enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. Re Annoying Rattle, try wrapping a small elastic band or an O ring around the knob (like the little blue ones that hold bunches of spring onions together), I reckon that should cure it.
Ok yes thanks i will try that , its hard to believe something so small rattles so loud! But I’ll have a go at doing that

Re the rattle, I’m fairly sure the knob just screws on 🤷♂️ they don’t feel loose when you push them but think will tighten up 🤞
Hi keith yes some of those knobs often unscrew so i find myself going round and checking once a month or so , it may be a case of just getting a new one they cant be too much , just so strange because its loud , we thought it was inside the cupboard , jars or whatever bashing against the wood but it’s definitely the catch

…and who says men can’t multi-task….😂 Just as I thought you were doing so well Mike, I found myself shouting ‘butter’ at the screen 🤭 I’m with Kirsty on the smaller sites, which are quieter with less campers 👍 I have black & silver mini schnauzer and trying to keep his legs and beard wet and grass free in the van can be a challenge…. Fish & chips looked well tasty - hope Zola’s back up to full strength soon. Happy travels 🚐
Hi debs yes i knew I’d forget what to get at the shop ! Typical 😂 , we tend to see a lot of mini schnauzers on site , lovely dogs , the fish and chips were amazing 🤩, yummy , well zola seems to be a bit better now thank you, i think she’s worked out that if she limps she gets more attention 😂 clever these dogs !

I really love how you share how you use your van for yourselves and the dogs. The tip about the awning very useful, we only had our first van for a few months and only had the awning out when it was dry! New van has arrived up in Leeds now ready for conversion….finally🙂. There’s a new site opened not far from there at Needham Market, 5 vans and no electric but a massive field only £10 per night and walking distance from the town, chip shops and lake if your interested

Hi Mike and Kirsty. Another great video. Always interesting and with nice touches of humour. Have you changed your van somehow? When you first got it, it had curved black/grey decals along the sides, now it has straight horizontal ones. We're puzzled.

Hi steve & alex , yes! We had the decals changed back in june , nobody has noticed & we were to mention it in an upcoming video , same van just different decals , long story short , the van was pressure washed on a powerful and hot setting and stripped one of the decals straight off the van ! Luckily vantage had some left over from the 2020 models ( my decals were the last of the 2019 models ) which I purchased and had re-done by a local vinyl company , well done in noticing!

Hi pete yes its a possibility we need to take a closer look , strange how its worse when its pressed in and locked for travel , after all they are ultimately “ travel catches “ , further investigation required or as someone just said , buy a new one , they cant be expensive 🤷 👍

Has the door got the round pads at each corner ends or take catch plate off and bend it inwards until you take up the slack had damaged problem on all my catches
Hi karl yeah got the little round pads , its coming from the actual catch but only when pressed in , really strange to be honest and its only that catch , all the others are the same and fine

hi my my doggo keeps scratching like mad this past week , he wears a good flea n tic collar and ive checked him , it might be just the change in the weather.
Yes we finally went to the vets yesterday and they said the same thing , no fleas or tics just a seasonal thing but they were give 2 tablets each to break in half and they seemed to have worked now
