Played that course many times a few years ago , so theis video brought back some good memories for me . That par 5 on the back 9 is stunning . Well played on a tight course
Really enjoyed the video... great commentary / thought processes... solid golf as well! Frozen greens can be super frustrating though. Got a sub from me. Keep it up! ⛳🤘
I'm new to golf, got talked into a work golf day. Practicing at pine ridge this weekend so came across that video. I have to say even as a total beginner, your videos have been great so thanks. However, even I thought those trousers were asking for trouble at the start of this video 😄
Hi Terry, ah awesome! That’s so good to hear thank you, haha yeh I thought I would be safe as the kid was frozen 😂 lesson learnt, subscribe if you enjoyed the videos!
I've played Donnington Valley quite a few times and, under the conditions you played it well. It's always a gamble under such extreme conditions and I think that in warmer weather you would have knocked at least 8 shots off your score. It's amazing how often most golfers miss putts on the low side. Looks like you slipped down a slope - ow!!
It sure was a gamble! Still weirdly enjoyable though haha, yep, I didn’t shoot far off what I shot last time I played there and the weather was ideal then, yep 😂 on one of the tee boxes, very embarrassing
Played Oaklands on Friday so I feel your pain on frozen tees and greens!lMajority of your tee shots were excellent just in the lap of the gods on approach shots in those conditions.Well done though mate 👍
@@Gimme_tv played really well but the greens were like concrete!!really enjoyed trying to conjure up shots though…just hoping winter hill will be ok on Saturday 🙏
@marktateqprgolf good! Yeh it certainly tests all your shots in the locker haha, I’m playing on Sunday at heythrop park and the weather looks milder and dry 🤞🏼
@marktateqprgolf of course! We were meant to play on the day I filmed this video, thankfully they texted to tell me the were closing the course due to the greens being frozen!

Yeh such a nice par 5! Glad it hit you with some nostalgia! Subscribe if you enjoyed

Looking at starting my own golf channel and I was wondering what mic and shot tracer technology you use? Great content, keep it up!!
Ah nice! I use comica mics, got them off amazon basically cheaper versions of the Rhode wireless go, and I just use the shot tracer app 👍🏼
The 9th is a great short par 3. Played two days in a row here and both times spun back off the green.
It’s evil isn’t it! I’ve played it twice and not hit it either time 😂

It’s painful isn’t it 😂 there is something fun about it though! Cheers mark! How did you shoot round there?

@@Gimme_tv supposed to be nice 👌 good luck..are you filming?
@marktateqprgolf of course! We were meant to play on the day I filmed this video, thankfully they texted to tell me the were closing the course due to the greens being frozen!
Ooo. Giving this a watch later this eve. Got a golf break booked here later in the year
Nice! It’s a lovely course, club house is a bit quiet, but the hotel and spa makes up for it, enjoy!
@Gimme_tv good stuff, hotel does look lovely. Hope your 1st tee shot was better than last time you played here 😬
@TW11DDY 😂 ffs I thought no one would mention that, don’t worry it was!
@@Gimme_tv 🤣🤣🤣
Next time wear black trousers ! Well played 👏
Yeh I’ll save those ones for summer I think 😅 cheers Rich!
Well played in those conditions 👏 poor trousers 😂🙈
Cheers! So embarrassing I slipped on the tee box 😂
Great playing. Just a little unlucky in places.
I know! Oh well! You been playing much?
@@Gimme_tv It’s been mostly range practice the last few weeks. Not had the weather for it. 💨🍃
What happened to your ass at around 20:05 mark? hahaaha should have shown the fall! - nice video btw, keep up the good play!
I slipped on the slope of a tee box! So embarrassing sadly I didn’t get it on camera, cheers bud!
