LOL. Bro, I’ll probably never be able to cut single pieces to make even just a door stop so I’m super impressed by this build. I’m also super entertained by the commentary and mistakes! Keep it rolling brother!
Thank you! I enjoyed this video. It was like watching myself work. I mostly work out of my head. I screw up a lot of sh&t, but not so much that minor adjustments won’t almost fix. I almost was going to buy a quilt ladder for my wife. She has quilts that people have made for her. My mother and grandmother have made quilts for me as well. My wife keeps these in her antique room. Your ladder would be perfect! I’m going to do one, but will add about a foot and a half. Thanks for your ideas, and for screwing up for me! Ha! You’ve done a great job!
We built one and just eyed the rungs. Kill, they’re all different degrees. Watched your’s after I had the back 45° angle. Glad to see you did it the way you did. That’s how we’ll do it. Great video!!
"This is all outta my head. And that's really kinda and really cool for me..." ....... 10 minutes later..... "Who's idea was it to do a project outta my own head??" Lmao 😂😂. My god, if there were ever two statements I related to more I haven't found them yet lol. I think I ask myself that same question every single time I build something lol 😂😭. Great work dude! Way to take the stresses of being a wood worker like a champ!
I noticed the rungs too! The blankets lay nicer when they're backwards even tho the ladder looks funky. Anyway I liked watching your thought process throughout the video. Felt like I was building it too😆
Great video!!! This is a project I have been wanting to do myself for awhile but I wasn't sure of the best way to attach the rungs. I love the idea of using dowels!!! Awesome!!! I am going to make a few of these. Thanks for sharing.
Damn bro. Like the new channel. Enjoy watching all your videos including those from the GLS days and I gotta say I do miss those. Keep it up. Maybe in the future you could do like done kitchen cabinets, would love to see you tackle that challenge!
Great video, gotta love how you can stop the recording, fix a mistake (btw, some of us noticed the first cut on the bottom was incorrect1 :)) no problem, you fixed it and your instructions were excellent, thank you.
Hey Chad, awesome design for a blanket ladder!👍. I think I'll give it a try, I'm sure my wife would love this style. Thanks for sharing. New friend here
@@greenlightshooting1 no problem man. I loved the gun stuff cuz I'm workin on gettin my cpl but I've also become a real handy man in the last couple years. so it's nice to see someone who can adapt and enjoy it at the same time, keep up the good work. super stoked to c the next project. 👍✌
72 degrees is the angle you were looking for. Assuming your floor and wall are square and 90 degrees then 90 degrees minus 18 degrees=72 degrees. Should your wall and floor not be perpendicular then using a protractor is the better way.
Nice video, I'm just starting out in woodworking I've made 2 crates, one Steve Ramsey style, the other I did freestyle from the leftover from the first crate which was a bench top crate for my push sticks push blocks and frame strap, I also made 2 out of 5 4x4 outdoor yahtze die, I need more 4x4, now on to the question would a biscuit joiner work for the rungs? thanks
Don't feel bad about it, because I watched another blanket video, and the girl drilled her holes on the outside, rather than inside. Anyway, you're a natural in frt of the camera. good video. :)
How can I tell that the tree is a pine tree before I cut it down? Lol just kidding, I’m going to give this a try tomorrow. This will be my first project ever

This is the same exact way I would build this. trail and error. Good job

I noticed and then went to the comments lol
Loved it man. Now I wanna build one.
Also it looks like your next project should be a wooden mallet!
Really enjoyed watching this video
This is absolutely the best video I have watched in a long time! I can totally relate!! 😆
Thank you! just finished cutting the wood, and was figuring out how i was going to attach it all!
I think it's perfect!!

Make a diy jig for marking your drill points. Cheap build, but easy to use and makes future builds a breeeeeze.
