Carmax has them for 33k super low mileage then at my dealer is 36k yeah, shouldn’t be hard to find MSRP one for 35k or less. But 26k new unlikely unless you custom order it with zero options.
Australian spec’ car has the foldable mirrors but you have to operate them by a switch at the very top of the panel on the drivers door, I found the switch by accident. The mirrors have automatically folded out for me once but I’m not sure how I managed to do that! The TS spec can be ordered as an automatic here and the car has puddle lights and maroon contrast trim like the Japanese market version. Thanks for your video, I learned something!
I will be taking delivery of one of these in 2 weeks. I am surprised to see it doesn’t have gas struts to hold the bonnet/hood up. The tS version in Australia only comes with red stitching and interior accents. Passenger window locks and removable head rests have been standard in Australia for a very long time.
Is there any way to have automatic door locks on the new models? 2023 doesnt have them. Its a pain to try to remember to lock your doors everytime you get in.
1st BRZ video that shares some of the hidden features, Yes video was helpful. Engine has direct and port fuel injection ! Also I think the BRZ looks better than the Toyota GR-86.
the engine is great. high revving, linear powerband, good response, low center of gravity because of its design, and great weight distribution. The oil pressure issue is exaggerated and there have been fewer than 20 confirmed failures, all of which were being abused on track, mechanically overrevved and many many other variables impossible to blame on the engine. i know of many who enjoy them every single day without issue, i know a guy who put 66k miles on his in ONE YEAR. Literally zero issues.
Background is my other car has 8 cylinders and automatic. Almost any manual these days is outpunched from traffic lights but auto boxes. I have a rev limit set at 3,500 until through break in but I’m finding it had great power delivery and is quite quick, these things hold speed so well because they just handle so beautifully, the Michelin Pilots are noisy but heaps of grip. I actually love the dark dak motor, it feels like I’m actually driving a car instead of sitting in bus getting from A to B … the V8 is also fun because I can bully my way through most situations in it … I own 6 cars at the moment, some don’t run mind you.
If you buy one, and they are indeed fun, change your oil frequently and far more than either Toyota or Subaru "asks" of owners of the FA24 and FA24 Turbo engines. And I saw this as a current 2024 WRX owner.
I changed the engine oil at 600 kilometre using a genuine filter and crush washer, I just used ramps to get under, quickest oil change ever …. The salesman advised me to change the oil very often, every 5,000 kms.
I challenge you to make it better. It's hysterical that he thinks moving a few switches would allow better cup holder placement. Right. Go ahead, put anything in that space ahead of the current cupholders, then try to shift the manual trans. Same with the snow/sport button- it;'s not available on any manual trans, not just the TS- of course, the only trans available in the TS is the manual. About the only thing I would change is making the center cupholder holes removable, and making that space strictly storage- something the NC Miata has. The door cupholders are fine, as long as the drink is covered if you want to open or close the doow with something in there.
MSRP 26K from where lol? You won't find it under 35k where I'm at!

$26k brand new would be the steal of the decade
He must of meant 36

@@J_S209 yeah the Australian spec is very similar to the Japanese one, interesting how many things aren't on the American one
Nice to see eyesight is finally on a manual.
@@geoffwyatt3991 what do you like the most of eyesight features?

Great car! I only wish there was another wheel color option other than dark and wish it could be spec’d without the eyesight.
"My Subaru" app works to unlock/lock, flash horn/lights, locate the BRZ...
I hear that it's a subscription service, which is annoying, granted that new owners get it for something like 3 years
Can let you dive it without a key? Like use your phone to drive? That’s what I was unable to find.
@@HotshotTek no.
@@HotshotTek no i own a ts and it just unlocks, locks, puts on the horn but u cant drive it with just your phone

How is the sound system? I don't see any difference between trim levels.
Base is like 6 speakers top trim is 10

Well the hidden feature doesn’t sound like any benefit but I like that it has a trunk
It's beautiful. I love the front, hate the engine.

Put the premium hood struts on it. I put them on my new Forrester Wilderness and took the cheesy hood prop rod off

Maybe it has an additional 100 horsepower hidden somewhere.
