perfect video. I own the nucleus and i use it as a mesh jacket above 20°C or as a base layer under a waterproof jacket (for example rev'it component). The abrasion resistance AA was important for me during asphalt riding. It feels much lighter than the sand4 jacket.
@ the airflow is amazing. The only problem is the black color. maybe the tornado or airwave from rev it would also be a solution. the sizing is normal. I fit in a L like in my sand or echelon jacket. Don‘t forget to wear a functional base layer, because the jacket feels a little bit sticky when sweating…
Thanks a lot for this review, made me go for the Proteus. Will use it underneath my KLIM dakar jacket and with really high temperatures with a jersey only.
It depends on how you ride and your body type, but Nucleus is less flexible so a bigger size should be safer choice. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
@@ADV.NO.Mad1 How tall are you and how much do you weigh? It’ll be helpful for me, because I’m wondering what size to purchase 🙏 I’m 186, 82kg. Thanks, man! ❤️
Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do 😉From my perspective this kit will work fine on any kind of bike. Of course, if you want to drive very fast it is worth checking the AAA protection gear
I bought a Proteus. Why? Purely for the fit. For my skinnier arms, the Nucleus forearms simply flopped around too much. If you have skinny arms, skip the Nucleus.

Do you find it good for the summer, like 35-40°C weather?
Also any recommendations for sizing?
Thank you :)

Good review, thanks a lot for taking this time to do it.

Sounds like a cool combo :)
This was a good review, thank you
Me interesa el nucleus pero debo comprar el ajustado del cuerpo o algo flojo mejor ? Gracias y feliz navidad

Thanks for the review! Which size are you wearing?
Hi, both are size XL

Thanks very much. I drive slow so, this kit is for me. 👍
what size would you think for 6' 80kg?
Best you can do is refer to rev'it size chart on their page, if you have any trouble just contact Rev'it Customer Service, they are relay helpful
Nic Pan nie powiedział o wentylacji. Nucleus bez koszulki vs Proteus z koszulką?

Man i was gonna buy the nucleus but they’re out of stock of my size! :(
Wait for 2025, maybe they'll be back on stock after the new year. Many companies do this 😉

True, Proteus is more elastic so it can be a better choice for people who aren't 100% standard size
Thanks Nomad! Helpful as the Rev'It website is vague.
I'll be honest, I didn't know 100% what I was buying when I was ordering Nucleus, so I thought that this video might be useful to someone.
