Are you still checking this video comments? Thing is, my touch pad moves the mouse around, but the right and left click buttons won't work. There's a little knob in the center of the keyboard and some other clickers and they don't work. I've plugged in a mouse; it doesn't work properly either. It's a really old laptop. It's a Latitude E6530. Would a hard reboot even help? I hit the F12 Key and now it's running the ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment. I don't know. I've bought two other computers since I got this one in 2013. Maybe I should just give it up. I like this laptop because it still has an internal DVD drive.
I'm surprised a usb mouse does not fix the problem. Yes it could be a hard drive you need to replace but it is a hassel to install an operating system on it.

@@angelstar22 well the computer is still worth money. You could just pop the hard drive out and put it on ebay. You'd be able to sell it for about 40 bucks free shipping for parts sold as is. The screen etc is still good. IF they can get it fix thats good, but don't spend any more than 50 or 60 on it because you could put that towards a new tablet or laptop. Then pick it up from them and sell it on ebay.
Didn't work that way for Latitude 3410. Had to hold down shift and restart. But now it's asking for a recovery key- which we do not have, and if I select to skip it takes us back to sign in. This was a school laptop which log in has now been disabled because my son graduated last year. He lost the charger so he hadn't used it since. We ordered a charger and now we can't use it at all lol

Do you know if this method will remove a bitlocker thats possibly rooted in the bios? Got an old work pc they were throwing out but still has the bitlocker, ive deleted partitions and tried to clean everything off the last partition but still has the bitlocker on it. Got the same model as you
