I beg everyone who's only here because of the Falcon punch to consider this; Falcon Densetsu is unironically a very fun show, and the Falcon Punch is entirely enhanced by the 50 episodes that build to the finale. Cap doesn't make a lot of appearances before the second half of the series, but the rest of the cast are able to stand on their own very well, aside from a few exceptions like Clash or EAD who do very little. This show is *worth* your time, especially if you're an F-Zero fan who's been craving anything from the series. There's a lot of places where the lore is mishandled, and a lot of characters are re-worked in ways that may not be liked by everyone, but overall, it IS a good show.
Clash is a father figure of sorts and sometimes that's enough and EAD has THAT episode... The fallen soldier deserves our repsect. Pico was done dirtier for example, he is an OG character.
@@rifasclubI’ll accept Pico’s done-dirtying simply because of the sheer hilarity of the episode where he tried to assassinate Tanaka. But yeah this show is excellent, the characters are great, the plot moves forward at a good pace while using the filler episodes for character spotlights and development, the rewrites to some characters are a bit awkward at first but I also enjoyed their presence nonetheless, and the main team and main villains are consistently excellent so it’s all good
Zero Ace his final smash should be hitting his enemies with his car like normal, but when they fly into the air, He jumps out, and Falcon Punches them~
Oh boy that ending was perfect! X_X Seriously even if the first ten episodes can be boring because there's nothing going on, it gets really, REALLY good after that. So 51 episodes might seem a lot, but they are WORTH IT!
The first two are nice, then it gets a bit boring, but it starts getting better starting with episode 10. After episode 30, the quality is more consistent, with the last 12 episodes being clear that they were going all-out for the finale.
Does anybody else remember that video, Ultimate Falcon Punch? The one with the DBZ characters dying and Mr. Game & Watch winning at the end. What ever happened to that?

I know another F-Zero game may never come. But of it does; The story mode follows Ryu Suzaku/Rick Wheeler after the previous Captain Falcon gave him the title after Black Shadows defeat. Ryu does his best to continue Falcons legacy, but Falcons enemies taunt him that he'll never be Captain Falcon. Despite his allies encouraging him, Ryu begins to believe he'll never live up to Captain Falcons name. That is, by plot reasons, Black Shadow returns to reclaim his place and revive "his dream". In the stories final race, Ryu challenges Black Shadow but the race seems lost, until Ryu hears Falcons voice in his mind, giving him the courage to win. Ryu's vehicle now dons the shape of the Blue Falcon, the final race is a "race to the end of the track" against Black Shadow. The length of the track is the length of this song, playing over the race. The final cutscene shows Ryu unleashing the Falcon Punch to Black Shadow, as the punch connects, Black Shadow sees both Ryu and the ghostly image of Captain Falcon. Seeing this, Black Shadow lets out one last howl of anger before falling to his death. And with that, Ryu Suzaku has well and truly earned the title of Captain Falcon.
A little surprising fact that you may not expect - I actually discovered this amazing song back in 2022 through an unofficial Ed, Edd n Eddy AMV from the late-2000s (IIRC that was the exact timeframe of which the video was published?) that masqueraded itself as the “Japanese opening” to the show, when in reality the show remained intact with its original English intro when it got localised for JPN audiences, with the only thing that was ever dubbed and altered being the titular dialogue at the beginning and end.
Last summer is when I got into the F-Zero series. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but This series really stuck out to me. I totally got into the games, the music, the characters, everything. That was a great summer. This song was the last thing I listened to before starting the school year. This year, I'm back again to keep up the tradition. So epic... F-Zero forever! :D
Perfect timing for this song: When you're boosting to the max, you can hear the whistle of your Master-Rank opponents doing the same just behind you-- picking up that "Watch!" icon as someone is right on your tail, and you hit Z to knock that guy backwards into the guy in 3rd place, as you hit a Dash Panel and punch it into a pit zone to grab that one last boost that carries you to a win.

I beg everyone who's only here because of the Falcon punch to consider this; Falcon Densetsu is unironically a very fun show, and the Falcon Punch is entirely enhanced by the 50 episodes that build to the finale. Cap doesn't make a lot of appearances before the second half of the series, but the rest of the cast are able to stand on their own very well, aside from a few exceptions like Clash or EAD who do very little. This show is *worth* your time, especially if you're an F-Zero fan who's been craving anything from the series. There's a lot of places where the lore is mishandled, and a lot of characters are re-worked in ways that may not be liked by everyone, but overall, it IS a good show.
Zoda, particularly his Hyper Form, and the sheer badassery of him trying to murder Black Shadow onscreen sold me instantly lol.
Clash is a father figure of sorts and sometimes that's enough and EAD has THAT episode... The fallen soldier deserves our repsect. Pico was done dirtier for example, he is an OG character.

But yeah this show is excellent, the characters are great, the plot moves forward at a good pace while using the filler episodes for character spotlights and development, the rewrites to some characters are a bit awkward at first but I also enjoyed their presence nonetheless, and the main team and main villains are consistently excellent so it’s all good

Seriously even if the first ten episodes can be boring because there's nothing going on, it gets really, REALLY good after that. So 51 episodes might seem a lot, but they are WORTH IT!
The first two are nice, then it gets a bit boring, but it starts getting better starting with episode 10. After episode 30, the quality is more consistent, with the last 12 episodes being clear that they were going all-out for the finale.
considering how often one piece is reccomended 51 episodes is far more watchable then that

I know another F-Zero game may never come. But of it does;
The story mode follows Ryu Suzaku/Rick Wheeler after the previous Captain Falcon gave him the title after Black Shadows defeat. Ryu does his best to continue Falcons legacy, but Falcons enemies taunt him that he'll never be Captain Falcon. Despite his allies encouraging him, Ryu begins to believe he'll never live up to Captain Falcons name.
That is, by plot reasons, Black Shadow returns to reclaim his place and revive "his dream". In the stories final race, Ryu challenges Black Shadow but the race seems lost, until Ryu hears Falcons voice in his mind, giving him the courage to win. Ryu's vehicle now dons the shape of the Blue Falcon, the final race is a "race to the end of the track" against Black Shadow. The length of the track is the length of this song, playing over the race.
The final cutscene shows Ryu unleashing the Falcon Punch to Black Shadow, as the punch connects, Black Shadow sees both Ryu and the ghostly image of Captain Falcon. Seeing this, Black Shadow lets out one last howl of anger before falling to his death. And with that, Ryu Suzaku has well and truly earned the title of Captain Falcon.

A little surprising fact that you may not expect - I actually discovered this amazing song back in 2022 through an unofficial Ed, Edd n Eddy AMV from the late-2000s (IIRC that was the exact timeframe of which the video was published?) that masqueraded itself as the “Japanese opening” to the show, when in reality the show remained intact with its original English intro when it got localised for JPN audiences, with the only thing that was ever dubbed and altered being the titular dialogue at the beginning and end.

Last summer is when I got into the F-Zero series. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but This series really stuck out to me. I totally got into the games, the music, the characters, everything. That was a great summer. This song was the last thing I listened to before starting the school year. This year, I'm back again to keep up the tradition. So epic... F-Zero forever! :D
