I saw all 51 episodes from beginning to end after finally realizing this subs existance, and loved every bit of it. To the guys that took the effort to subtitle this, extreme kudos for taking the time out of your lives to do this. You gave F-Zero fans, be it one game or all of them, a chance to experience one more piece of F-Zero history in animated form. Second, I knew the source of the "Falcon Punch" meme, but seeing it all from start to finish puts a whole new perspective on it all. Such a fantastic way to go out and pass the torch of the Good Captain from Andy to Ryu. Many manly tears was shed, and such a FALCON PUNCH was yelled. Finally, to put some of the continuity stuff to rest (while leaving SSB out of the equation), if it hasn't already, this anime is based on a COMPLETELY different alternate universe from the GP Legend and Climax games and is no way canonical to the other F-Zero games. So the Captain Falcon we see in this series is totally unrelated to the Captain Falcon from the SNES, N64 and Gamecube F-Zero games. That tl;dr moment aside, good work with the subs, great anime series, and I enjoyed the experience.

Ever since seeing that epic Falcon Punch clip years ago from the series finale I always wanted to see just how good this show was and while it definitely varied in quality throughout the 51 episodes I have to say it was worth sitting through the series. Just wish it got a proper release on DVD or Blu-Ray in the US one day with both Japanese and English language tracks with subs for various languages as well. Nintendo could make some good money if they ever did that along with putting out a new F-Zero game as well for the Switch complete with online MP and tons of circuits to race and what not.
Captain Falcon. A man that raced God and the devil themselves, and won! Man, I was teary-eyed after this episode. Even for anime, it got me. Captain Falcon will always be our hero, you will be missed but remembered as the hero that saved the galaxy and ensured freedom.
If you already watched all the episodes the falcon punch scene is even more epic and full of feels, because you know what happened through all the characters and how much they wanted to defeat Black Shadow, Thanks to Mr. Miyamoto, to all the people who were involved in the making of the anime, to Dreadopp for having this for everyone, and the most important... Miyamoto was in no way shape or form involved in this. Shegeru Miyamoto is the MAIN person holding back a new F-Zero game and the primary reason why other games like Paper Mario and Metroid are dead.
13 years ago (2009) I recorded the Final Falcon Punch on a cheap digital camera and would play for my friends at school. Since that time I became very familiar with that scene and the song "Meaning of Truth" that plays in the background... It wouldn't be until now, over a decade later I finally understand the context behind all the imagery in that iconic moment. The F-Zero anime turned out to be a wild-high ride, much better than I was expecting and filled with a cast of so many likable characters (Super Arrow and Octoman are such lovable standouts) and expansive world building but most importantly, it was fun. Thank you so much for the subtitles. The Japanese version actually has the Nintendo game music (and Norio Wakamoto's delightfully hammy Black Shadow performance) so it's really the only way to watch it IMO. The fact still remains, if I had a choice on how I could "go", it would be like Captain Falcon here. F-Zero may be a dormant series at Nintendo, but at least there's always this series to come back to and enjoy again. But with that "To Be Continued....?" We can always hope.
With the release of F-Zero 99 on Switch, being more than a year online with updates and events, the release of GP Legend and Climax for the GBA Switch Online, we can only hope they release a F-Zero GX remaster or a possible new F-Zero game for the Switch 2.
I've loved Captain Falcon as a character for a while, but I hadn't been put any effort into learning more about the series until recently. I main Falcon in Melee and used to play F-Zero: GX all the time, but it was lost somehow and I haven't played it for ~8 or so years. I recently bought a new copy and decided to sit down and watch this to invigorate my inner Falcon spirit, and man, I was REALLY surprised by how good the series turned out to be story-wise. I always thought "How much backstory can a racing character/game have?" and it turns out it can be pretty amazing. I even loved the "filler" episodes and learning more about the original 30 racers. I want to thank you guys so much for the subs, it was such a hype series! RIP Andy Summers AKA Bart Lemming AKA Captain Falcon, you definitely showed us you had moves. May the Legend of Falcon live on in all of us ;_;7
Tbh I really hope that when Nintendo finally makes a new F-Zero game, they somehow find a way to make the plot of both the original F-Zero games (F-Zero, X, and GX, Where Douglas Jay Falcon is dating Jody, Black Shadow serves Deathborn, and the creator is 3 ghosts) and the newer games (GP Legend the anime, GP Legend the game, and Climax) coexist

I've started watching the series from start to finish since last week and I'm sad the ride was over but it was a good one.I'm so glad I got to see this anime now,I've been wanting to for the longest time but there weren't any subs around that I could find for years.This is one of the better video game anime that I've seen,it really got great around the halfway point. So i’ve just binge watched this in 2 days, and it’s now one of my favorite anime of all time, I think. Thank you to Dreadopp for uploading this and subbing it! I couldn’t have watched it without you guys and subbing an entire 51 episode series is a fuckton of work, and I commend you for that.
AAAAAHHHH this episode got me crying. that scene where andy performed the falcon punch and his helmet came off of his head REALLY got me going. though, as much as i miss andy, i am happy that ryu got to be with haruka, clank gets to drive the dragon bird, and everyone is happy. what a fantastic show with such an emotional ending that will stay in the back of my head forever. the writers were so good at making these characters more than one-dimensional characters with few priorities, like in gx. these characters had goals, they had desires, feelings, personality. the writers did a fantastic job at fleshing them out and i don't think i've ever held such a strong attachment to a bunch of fictional racers. this is the first time a cartoon has made me actually burst into real life tears. whelp, TIME TO WATCH IT AGAIN!!
Just finished binge watching the entire series, that was one hell of a trip. Without context the falcon punch scene went hard, but after watching all the previous 50 episodes it hit harder.

so let me get this straight, captain falcon from the f-zero (snes), f-zero x (n64) and f-zero gx (gcn) died in the anime. now Ryu Suzaku is the new captain falcon in future games and in smash brothers. i did not know that.

He is Captain Falcon in the series now. IT would be cool to see a full season of him changing into the original Falcon slowly and cycle continue. Sadly the chances of this anime being continued is slim to none. It's a fitting ending though, it's fairly wrapped up and with a nice climatic ending and passing of the torch. I'm happy with what it is in it's current state, only gripe is that it's not fully dubbed.
Even if you're like me and have never watched this series (but I intend to), you can absorb so much from just this one episode. It's incredible how good this team is at story writing/telling/voice acting/art.
This show absolutely blew me away. I tried to start it years ago, but I wasn't able to stay interested for long. After giving it a proper watch (and a quick one at that, only took 4 days), I am glad to have watched it. I didn't expect a lot, but the story picked up and I ended up being way more invested then I would have thought. I just finished watching this series for the second time, and, whoa... I couldn't avoid shedding a couple tears. *Manly F-Zero racer tears!* It's an awesome watch, I'd definitely reccomend to any and all F-Zero fans, if only to see your favorite characters in animated glory. Everyone in F-Zero is a badass, and this series demonstrates this pretty well. Again, thank you very much Dreadopp and Zedopp for the closed captions and the neat playlist. The calm look on Falcon's face as the reactor blows up with him too close to save himself is oddly surreal but strangely reassuring. Not sure how to explain it, but I feel like it strangely adds to this moment.

This is such a good show, I was rewatching it in the background, but I'd often get distracted by watching it. That Falcon Punch is so epic, it's a shame we haven't seen the blue lightning effect more. I would've loved to see a follow up series for the characters, but that "to be continued?" hurts knowing how Nintendo left the franchise to die, only living through Captain Falcon in Smash
It's thanks to you two that this series has finally been subbed in English to the fullest. I REALLY wanted to see this whole series subbed in English and as of today, finally I've seen it all. This took me 3 days. I really loved how the series ended. I really think this should stay as canon for future F-Zero stories. Everyone racing. Ryu and Haruka finally married. I was really hoping they finally reunite and it happened. Thank goodness. Clank is a racer and is the Driver of Dragon Bird. Because of Andy sacrificing himself (which made me sad) to beat Black Shadow, Ryu is Captain Falcon #2 and now drives the Blue Falcon. One sad thing happened but still got a very happy ending. Thank you very much Dreadopp & Zedopp! Thank you so much!

Kids these days don't know it, but the whole FALCON PUNCH THROUGH THE GALAXY thing was such a HUGE Nintendo meme between the releases of SSB Melee and Brawl, and I was very happy that it was actually lampooned in the Subspace Emissary mode of Brawl. Pretty damn awesome to finally see the original episode where it came from!

これ観た後にクライマックスやりたかった…
時代背景が原作と違って敢えて300年以上前なのは、サブタイトルのようにこういった歴史が続いていってまた同じようなキャラクターで原作に続いていく解釈。
マリオカートも面白いけど、エフゼロの新作ずっと待ってます。

I've started watching the series from start to finish since last week and I'm sad the ride was over but it was a good one.I'm so glad I got to see this anime now,I've been wanting to for the longest time but there weren't any subs around that I could find for years.This is one of the better video game anime that I've seen,it really got great around the halfway point.

So i’ve just binge watched this in 2 days, and it’s now one of my favorite anime of all time, I think. Thank you to Dreadopp for uploading this and subbing it! I couldn’t have watched it without you guys and subbing an entire 51 episode series is a fuckton of work, and I commend you for that.

AAAAAHHHH this episode got me crying. that scene where andy performed the falcon punch and his helmet came off of his head REALLY got me going.
though, as much as i miss andy, i am happy that ryu got to be with haruka, clank gets to drive the dragon bird, and everyone is happy.
what a fantastic show with such an emotional ending that will stay in the back of my head forever.
the writers were so good at making these characters more than one-dimensional characters with few priorities, like in gx.
these characters had goals, they had desires, feelings, personality. the writers did a fantastic job at fleshing them out and i don't think i've ever held such a strong attachment to a bunch of fictional racers.
this is the first time a cartoon has made me actually burst into real life tears.

Just finished binge watching the entire series, that was one hell of a trip. Without context the falcon punch scene went hard, but after watching all the previous 50 episodes it hit harder.

so let me get this straight, captain falcon from the f-zero (snes), f-zero x (n64) and f-zero gx (gcn) died in the anime. now Ryu Suzaku is the new captain falcon in future games and in smash brothers. i did not know that.

He is Captain Falcon in the series now. IT would be cool to see a full season of him changing into the original Falcon slowly and cycle continue. Sadly the chances of this anime being continued is slim to none. It's a fitting ending though, it's fairly wrapped up and with a nice climatic ending and passing of the torch. I'm happy with what it is in it's current state, only gripe is that it's not fully dubbed.

Even if you're like me and have never watched this series (but I intend to), you can absorb so much from just this one episode. It's incredible how good this team is at story writing/telling/voice acting/art.

This show absolutely blew me away. I tried to start it years ago, but I wasn't able to stay interested for long. After giving it a proper watch (and a quick one at that, only took 4 days), I am glad to have watched it. I didn't expect a lot, but the story picked up and I ended up being way more invested then I would have thought. Thanks for subbing this, you allowed for myself and many others to experience this wonderful show!

I just finished watching this series for the second time, and, whoa... I couldn't avoid shedding a couple tears. *Manly F-Zero racer tears!* It's an awesome watch, I'd definitely reccomend to any and all F-Zero fans, if only to see your favorite characters in animated glory. Everyone in F-Zero is a badass, and this series demonstrates this pretty well.

The calm look on Falcon's face as the reactor blows up with him too close to save himself is oddly surreal but strangely reassuring. Not sure how to explain it, but I feel like it strangely adds to this moment.

This is such a good show, I was rewatching it in the background, but I'd often get distracted by watching it. That Falcon Punch is so epic, it's a shame we haven't seen the blue lightning effect more. I would've loved to see a follow up series for the characters, but that "to be continued?" hurts knowing how Nintendo left the franchise to die, only living through Captain Falcon in Smash

I REALLY wanted to see this whole series subbed in English and as of today, finally I've seen it all. This took me 3 days.

Clank is a racer and is the Driver of Dragon Bird.
Because of Andy sacrificing himself (which made me sad) to beat Black Shadow, Ryu is Captain Falcon #2 and now drives the Blue Falcon.
One sad thing happened but still got a very happy ending.

Kids these days don't know it, but the whole FALCON PUNCH THROUGH THE GALAXY thing was such a HUGE Nintendo meme between the releases of SSB Melee and Brawl, and I was very happy that it was actually lampooned in the Subspace Emissary mode of Brawl. Pretty damn awesome to finally see the original episode where it came from!

The second season of Jeeves476's Angry German Kid Series began on "Angry German Kid Gets Mauled by the Smurfs" which was posted on 30th April 2008 and ended on "Angry German Kid vs Jovi Part 2" which was posted on 1st October 2009.
