First of all, WW is a powerhouse that I think gets shorted by this community on how strong she is. That said, this was absolutely bonkers. Black Adam floored by the first punch, instantly defeated by one hit from the mace... WTF. However, it tracks as well. Given the overall quality of I think a lot of BHL garbage this was pretty much in keeping with that low low bar. Also as a side note, every time I see Barbatos I laugh. I can't take it seriously, it's funny every time. The god of tropical islands. You can sacrifice a Jimmy Buffett album to him.
@@najeebshah. As someone who agrees that a lot of liberal writers have done that to a lot of characters, WW has been top tier since at least the 80s man. Some of here strongest moments were over 20 years ago. That said, she isn't a match for Black Adam.

I’m curious, what are the reasons fans have for hating the Batman Who Laughs? And I mean reasons besides those such as how Batman Who Laughs is ‘milked all the time’ or overused, because I know for *that* one, I can think of a more or less proper explanation for it.

That's y people hate the batman who laughs as the writing was pretty terrible for his reasons of becoming God. Then somehow randomly wonder woman learns how to receive an amp and surpass him. Only for some hands to come and reset everything.

SHAZAM related characters are jobbers, nowadays they are even worse than Martian Manhunter, in this fight Black Adam was amped by the Rock of Eternity, he had all advantages and he still got wrecked, got floored in one single punch, then one shotted by the mace, same mace which in past couldn't hurt him, SHAZAM is even weaker than Adam, Aquaman has stalemate Wonder Woman about 4 times, while SHAZAM boys can't fight her even for a few panels, while SHAZAM doesn't stand a chance to become relevant, I hope that the movie will give Adam a push.

I have to say, any time I see Black Adam getting beat down makes me smile.
BA may have the advantage of strength and power, but by a small margin only. Maybe speed, but raw speed doesn't guarantee BA can win the fight, because raw speed and time reaction speed are different, even Batman agreed that WW is faster than SM. Some cases, WW caught Flash and Zoom.
Basically, BA v WW is a battle like WW v SM, WW v SZ or any other similar characters, which WW most likely to win, because of her millennia of experience that attested her unrivaled skills in the battlefield.
She may not be the strongest nor the most powerful, but she's definitely the smartest and the most seasoned fighter.
The only way to defeat WW is by overwhelming her with brute force continually and outlast her stamina and durability. (which is definitely a mile from success).
Well technically she used a weapon that counters his powers. So is it really he being humbled or her cheating?

I think Wonder Woman could take Black Adam. She has put up a solid fight against Superman on a lot of occasions, although her one advantage there: magic, isn't the same silver bullet against the Shazam crew. Having an Nth metal mace, seeing what the Hawks have done with them, in her hands goes a long way towards balancing any power gap between her and Black Adam.
That said...she should NEVER beat him that easily. He shouldn't beat her that easily. Superman shouldn't beat either of them that easily. It should always be an actual fight, unless one of them completely ambushes the other.

Secondly, Wonder Woman *has* beaten Superman, just as Black Adam *has*. Her having an Nth metal magic disrupting mace is absolutely enough of a power up to give her a fighting chance against Adam one on one.
Like I said. It shouldn't be a curb stomp, either way, but her getting a victory wouldn't be unthinkable. It's not like Green Arrow got an Nth metal mace and clobbered Adam.

It is strange that all the DC characters seem depressed other than Superman. Clark has a positive outlook. Bruce is angry and bitter. Diana is depressed because she is alone and cant go home. What we see is not some feminist, not a typical stereotype of Diana, but stuff that she herself can do. So many, many people look down on wonder woman and just see her as a lesser Superman. But if you really look into her, she's a woman is more than just a Superman clone. She's a woman with hardships. A woman who has to come to grips with the fact that, she could potentially never go back to her birth place. Her duty as a justice league member made her sacrifice a chance to live with her mom in peace. She chooses to fight not just for her, but because of what she believes in. She's a symbol of hope in her own way.
Even in combat we see this. She doesn't just throw kicks and punches. She's properly equipped with weapons and armor suited for her. She's able to fight on par with the likes of Shazam, Superman not just because she's strong. She's cunning, enduring, and willing to push through for the sake of her people, those who can't defend herself, and to prove herself. Prove that she isn't just a person who fights for nothing. Prove to the world that she refuses to be in the shadow of any of her comrades. And to prove that no one can replace Diana or her occupation as Demi Goddess or her ranks in the justice league.
