"You know the difference between us, Lexy? You fight a member of the Justice League with a high-tech battle suit. I fight a member of the Justice League with whoopee cushions and rubber chickens. Now I ask you, which is more impressive?"
The Joker is a Pokemon trainer who took down the Elite Four with Magikarp splash
Luthor, obviously.
@@jamesshepherd9390 Luthor has a much larger budget to work with. Compared to Lex, Joker is playing on hard-mode and STILL manages to kick all manner of buttocks. Not to mention considering who has won the majority of fights between Batman and Superman.
@@kidclefspeare Gotcha. So its still Luthor then.

Joker fights Batman on the regular. Getting your ass kicked by Bruce like every week must be pretty good training lmao
Right? And not even winning but just learning how to doge & evade attacks, still lex isn’t a slouch & it’s pretty fit in his own right. I’m glad they gave him a fighting chance
Getting your ass kicked is not good training and Joker doesn’t “fight” Bruce. He makes him jump through hoops before Batman clobbers the fuck out of him.
@@slashyslasher1248 have you read endgame
First thing I thought - You've gotta learn something, getting beaten up for years by one of the best fighters on the planet.
Right? Like, sure, Lex, you're a well trained mastermind who constantly fights the strongest person on the planet. But Joker? Joker takes on the most skilled human fighter on the planet, and does so laughing. Lex, All you have right now in this fight is you. This isn't a fight you actually want.
For someone that's supposedly the "smart" Lex really didn't take into account the fact the Joker has not only survived but probably gotten off on being literally crippled by a 6'2, almost 300lb monster that wrestles people like Killer Croc for a living; Batman.
Lex punching Joker is the equivalent of slapping an off-duty BDSM gimp in the face and expecting it to make them cry.
What a bizarrely cringey and inaccurate analogy lmfao
@@AMediumSizedKodiak have you ever seen any of joker's interactions with batman and how he regards their relationship?

@@GreaterGrievobeast55 He's good at his job. But me, I LOVE my job!
This is why I prefer Joker's origin as an ex enforcer for the mob rather than the other origin he's a failed comedian goodie two shoes. It makes more sense for him being as dangerous as he is, and him already having gang respect, knowledge and connections that he does.
I think one of my favorite Joker origin was hims being a expert thief who became incredibly bored with how easy it was to invade the cops. At least until batman showed up and put a few iconic facial scars on him.
I think him not having a solid origin works better... makes him more like a force of nature or a true agent of chaos. After all what is more scary than the unknown? Mankind invented entire religions to try and explain the unknown to quell that fear of just what could be lurking in the darkness stalking you. It may very well be a green eyed monster with a grin.

The Joker has a high pain tolerance it's true...
@@OmnipotentSaiyan actually, this joker has a normal pain tolerance, it's just... his entire body is pain, to the point he forgot what not being in pain felt like, so he doesn't care about getting hurt.
@@tyrongkojy that's what he normally does with everyone but Bat & Co. He let's them think they're winning while they're just getting tired, and when they think he's down he gets up like nothing, and so on until he either gets bored or they lose their temper and get really stupid...
One of my favorite moments in DC because that final line as Joker wins the fight describes the differences between his and Luthor's characters extremely well.
"You're good at your job, Lex. But me? I LOVE my job!"
The Joker will never stop doing what he does because he loves doing it. Lex might be good at being a villain, but he only pushes forward so long as it benefits him.
Honestly, I couldnt agree more Shady....so Joker breakdown videos in your style when? Am I right?
That's Jokers true super power, that he just doesn't care. About anything
That explains a lot if the Joker is in constant pain from the fall into the vat, or something like anyway. No wonder he doesn't fear beat downs from Batman or anybody. It makes a degree of sense.
Joker is a sadomasochist, he derives pleasure for both feeling pain and giving it. So you can't really torture him or use threats of pain to make him comply or back down which is one of the problems Batman has when dealing with him.
@@lucasheinrich9377 I read that article on the toilet at work too
I’m pretty sure some unknown Goo that bleached your skin and permanently altered your hair pigmentation probably has some other pretty strong side effects. Constant pain alone can drive someone crazy, like their is a poisonous bush that makes a neurotoxin so potent the pain never leaves and has been known to drive animals and people to suicide in order to free themselves of it.
that also explain his insanity.
@@taliawtf6944 The only torture that may work is to bind him to a unmovable chair, in a complete dark room, without interaction, for a very long time...
But he may be too crazy to actually work...
Let's be real Lex never stood a chance. Joker deals with the Bat all the time and if that doesn't train your combat skills I don't know what will. Not to mention the fact that the Joker has beaten Batman before. Rare but it does happen
But lex is enhanced unless that got red con he's basically super soldier stats.
@@HallowsEve100 he's only enhanced in some stories, in this one he's a baseline human (Buff but not meta)
Either way, if he's enhanced or not, Lex is *supposed* to be peak natural human. At least in most variations. It's one of the reasons he hates Supes. Because despite how gifted he is, he still doesn't compare to a God.
He's a Genius, the Smartest human (even more than bats yes) and is in peak physical condition. I don't think Joker could feasibly win. It's like a kinda tough guy fighting the MMA champion.
@@--Cat-- Joker has replicated Batman's training for fun. which is why when he dresses up as Batman (which happens surprisingly often) he can replicate Batman moves (martial arts and tool use). While not as physically strong as Batman himself, Batman has admitted he's faster. Batman has won most fights with lex, and if Joker is as good of a fighter but faster... well anyways, you need to just read more comics with the Joker before assuming he can't beat a peak human, he's beat up bane juiced up. And bane is clearly stronger then lex.
@@--Cat-- I want to make something clear. I believe Lex Luthor would win a realistic fight with Joker. But not because he's a superior fighter. He's smarter and has access to futuristic and alien technology. However in a hand-to-hand combat situation Joker is surprisingly powerful because of his multiple martial arts and his tricky style of fighting and his enjoyment of pain
Is it weird that in a universe full of martial arts masters and superpowered beings and cosmic entities, a fistfight between two (at least physically) normal men is the most epic?
Not two normal men, two dangerous individuals who don't bow to anyone, even gods
Well they do be fighting super powed beings who can crush them easily so yeah
They're not really normal at least not the joke or I mean the guy once cut off his own face For the S**** and giggles for it He has a very high paying tolerance
Not really. They have pretty much normal human physiology however the villains in stories usually have a more realistic view point to the real world for many people. Villains are usually more relatable because who wouldn't want to do some villain shit and command the same respect and be as clever as some great villains? The best villains usually have a perspective that is very relatable to real life. It happens more so than heroes. With a few exceptions of course. That's why batman and spider man are so popular. Batman is the good guy asshole. Lol. Who wouldn't want to be an asshole and also simultaneously be a good guy? The best good guy depending on perspective. Amd spider man with his teenage permanence is always pretty much an allegory for most teens growing up during any Era honestly. But it's something weird to villains. Sometimes there is goodness within the bad. Not saying these villains are anti heroes, but there's just something real about the villains.
The scale here is so much more comprehensible than two gods punching each other through skyscrapers repeatedly.
Joker literally told lex hes built different lmaooo

If joker wants you to die he's more then willing to just cap you and be done with it, but he likes to make people suffer and cripple them, or kill them in some flamboyant fashion.

Ever notice how writers tend to forget that not feeling pain isn't the same thing as being immune to harm?
This fight does not suffer that problem, but yes I have seen it. Lex beat the piss out of him and he was bloody and trashed. He wasn't invincible. But what did happen is Lex wasn't able to cause enough pain to break Joker's fighting spirit, so he fought on. I think this scene portrayed the "character feels no/little pain" concept quite well.
You might not feel pain but your body will still respond to your injuries if you can't feel pain but you fall head first somewhere you'll still get a concussion
@@acnologi1115 I know, but I didn't feel there were any instances like that in this fight.
@@zadenhomunculus8652 I wasn't responding to you
Your brain compartmentalizes pain. If Jokers constant pain is a 10, and the pain Luthor inflicts on him is an 8, he will not notice it over the constant 10 he is feeling. This is common knowledge amongst people who deal with chronic pain.
“Wouldn’t want this to be anything but fair” lex should’ve had other villains give Joker a pat down or tell him about the flower. He’s always concealing something! Also didn’t realize his chemical burned left him in a constant pain sheesh..thought two face and clayface three had the worst of it in that department.
I don’t really buy that Lex would’ve gone into it with no backup plan. He’s not stupid, knows Joker well, and always has his own backup plans. This is double digit IQ Lex to make Joker look good. If anything he’d have had a damn force field.
@@plagueofjoe well the pat down would probably go both ways pfft! And In this scenario it seems like all these villains are stranded and separated from their usual resources. It does seem doubtful lex would usually entertain a fight like this.
The Chemical Burned his Pain receptors He can't feel pain like you and me do
@@koreypaul9952 Yeah he's extremely dangerous, like fighting a meth head. It's arguable he could win in spite of Lex's superior strength and training even without tricks, but Lex's approach to this is just dumb and radically unlike him.

I wouldn’t want to catch a fade with someone who boxes Batman on a weekly basis

And he WINS, sometimes, like every 100th fight
Not even just joker, it’s scary trying to duke it out with any of Batman’s rogues who has enough balls to keep doing what they do when they have a guy in a bat suit that keeps on stopping them for years in their careers
Anybody who thinks they can just beat Joker into submission is crazier than the Joker.
Joker: And that's why the Batman should be in Arkham with the rest of us! Haaahahahaha!

Joker had to use his tools to avoid being beaten to submission. Stop trying to sound deep. Batman's beaten him up who knows how many times.
Lex is a man with a suit of armor designed to counter Superman, a man with all strength but no technique. Joker is a man who fights Batman on the regular, a guy who has mild strength and a shit ton of technique and money, Joker is most definitely no slouch when it comes to combat, he literally stands toe to toe with the worlds greatest detective.
Doesn't supes know some kryptonian martial art and box?
@@SmolTerribleTornado only sometimes depends if the writers include that storyline or even if they do they could retcon that part still
Some versions of Lex practice martial arts. Joker has better experience. Lex's training is more tried and true while joker "training" is about trying shit and seeing what happens. Both have their advantages.
Joker fights the Bat on a week by week basis, getting an ass beating by anyone else is a walk in the park for him.
Cough... Injustice Superman...
Joker described how they are as villains perfectly. Lex is good as a villain but he is a business man more. He only gets more evil when it benefits him in some way, whether it be to get rid of superman, more power, or more money, its always to gain something. Joker simply loves to cause misery and pain to others. He will happily sacrifice almost anything, even lose the fight, to make someone suffer and for almost no reason. As he once said to batman "after all these years, do you really thing I need a reason?".
Lmfao lex doesnt fuck with superman because it benefits him

This makes tons of sense that joker would be able to kick Lex's ass into the ground. He's gone toe to toe with batman so many times to the point where I wouldn't be suprised if he had started studying how Batman fights. To underestimate the Joker, is to sign your own death warrent.
While most incarnations of the Joker aren't really fighters I think getting into fights with Batman and his family is bound to let the Joker at least be pretty good at brawling every time Batsy kicks his ass six ways till sunday
Joker has proven on multiple occasions that he can fight when he wants to. With Batman, Joker is willing to provoke him and take a horrid beating if there is any chance the hero will be pushed too far and break his one rule. That's how Joker wants to win in the end.
In the Golden Age era of comic book, Joker, in his first debut, even punched Batman out of the car and fell into the water.
What about that creepy joker from the 2004 animated series?

This is a man that's been fighting Batman for God knows how long. He may not be classically trained, but you don't brawl with one of the world's best fighters that long without picking up a few tricks. Any humans not on or near Batman's level really have no business trying to throw down with him.
Lex underestimated Joker because he fought Superman on a regular basis
However, without his armour he was never much of a threat to Superman, Joker meanwhile was a threat to the world’s greatest detective on a regular basis
Lex was an intelligent yet arrogant man, Joker is straight up insane, but he’s also got quite the skill to keep up
Joker saw Will Smith and said hold by bomb Harley.
All the fighting with Batman has trained him well.
For all his intelligence, and admittedly, Lex has upped his game, in physical combat, it's a day of light-duty AT BEST for The Joker! Never mind his multiple choice origins, but The Joker has learned, in the WORST of ways to keep going, in spite of any injury he may sustain. Batman has REPEATEDLY broken his bones, and caused all manner of physical trauma to The Joker - and he keeps coming back for more!
The Joker may not know Karate - but he damn sure knows CA-RAZY!!

Instead of obsessing over Superman, Lex should have gone to the gym. Hit the weights, gain some gains.
Pretty sure it's canon that Lex keeps himself in peak physical condition. The Joker is just a crazy masochist who can take beating from Batman and still talk shit for most of it.
Lex literally works out every day and trains with the best martial artists money can buy.
Lex is shredded. The joker is just a different breed
He actually does, he lifted Joker to the air with one punch to the gut, imagine lifting a grown ass man with your punch, that's A LOT of strength
@Nicholas Millington he did a few times, but that barely fazed Joker because he loves pain, you cannot beat someone with pain if that someone loves pain, pin point strikes and other martial arts will not faze him until he actually breaks his limbs or kill him

Joker even resorted to tricks when he used the flower acid when he declared it would be “fair” and at the end Lex was no where near done when he was still able to pull himself together and order everyone. What this does do is demonstrate how much of a menace he is as a force. He can never be put down with enough pain because if he loses he just comes back.

Lex has beaten a much more composed and intelligent Superman on many occasions. Bruce has gotten cheapshots into Superman trying his best to not obliterate him.

Batman's not beaten Superman once, he's defeated a numpty with similar powers, that's all.
I heard this comic in Mark Hamil's and Clancy Brown's voices.
