    I would say the power supply cable is not difficult to remove their is a technique that requires very little force. The connector sits in a U shaped housing that is attached to the mother board of you look closely you can see a notch mid way up the connector you can wedge in the needle tips of the tweezers and use a fulcrum style rocking motion and it separates pretty easy.
    This is the most damaged part in a previous repaired ps4pro and the cause of many dead systems as people rip the receptor right off the motherboard

      Wish I have read this comments first. I added just a little too much force and removed the connector from the board. R.I.P PS4 :-(

    I did exactly that, now my fan is quiet but runs slowly, had to take off top cover to actually see if it's on, but doesn't speed up when console gets hotter , not a clue what to do.

    Removing the power supply/hard drive and a few screws/disconnect wires on the other side.
    The "Entire" motherboard with both metal panels wiggle out at an angle without needing to take it all apart.
    You won't have to repaste or anything. : )
    Just found this out.

    Good evening, I changed the thermal paste and I could play for 2 weeks without any noise and 2 weeks later after disassembly they gently start making noise again but a lot is this normal? As if the thermal paste dried in 2 weeks we would say?

    • @TechGadgetsMedia
      @TechGadgetsMedia  2 месяца назад

      Are you experiencing lag or stuttering in games? Depending on the quality of the thermal paste or the way it makes good contact with the heat sink and cpu or not it could cause issues and the it overheats

    So, I need your help, I followed your guide TO THE LETTER...minus the thermo paste...had none on hand at the time, but it doesn't look bad, I could replace it no issue...if that's my problem.
    My problem, my ps4 won't turn on. When I try to I get 3 long beeps and a pulsing blue light then it powers down. The disc drive takes and ejects the CD and the controller and power button both have the same result. The only thing I've noticed is the MB doesn't match up perfectly for some reason. The pegs align and most of the holes line up but the ones around the thermopaste spot do not so I have 8 Phillips screws remain and 2 torx screws. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

    • @TechGadgetsMedia
      @TechGadgetsMedia  3 месяца назад

      After a quick Google search I found that 3 beep code relates to either a software or a minor microprocessor issue.
      Have you tried to start the console in safe mode? (Hold the power button for 7 sec until you hear two beeps)

    • @lutherzierich6223

      @TechGadgetsMedia I did yes, I got nothing in response.
      Also, THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING!!!
      I figured it out. I messed up the assembly in a simple way and the system decided to rebel against my mistake! Got it to boot in safe mode then to finalize the boot sequence. Thanks again for the response and attempt at help! Greatly appreciated!

      Yeah pull it apart and dunk all the parts you can in a 99% alcohol ultrasonic bath. This should greatly remove the smell and give you a clean ps4 as a bonus
