Interesting take on things. If it was actually "against community standards" you wouldn't be posting this comment, because the video would be gone. What they do have is essentially a trigger warning, so that people like the actual veterans that this song honors can be prepared to possibly relive some pretty serious shit. Maybe don't blindly react to social media talking points next time.
59 years later, this song was a must- listen: on this date, in this place. My siblings and I owe our lives to the fact that my father served in Germany and not SE Asia from '63-'66. I firmly believe he would not have survived combat; and we would not exist at all. To those who went, whether volunteered or "volunTOLD," I salute you all.
I do, too. I'm glad Big & Rich have commemorated this horrible battle. Hits home hard for many who served, as well as their families, friends and communities. War is truly hell. May their memories be for a blessing.
Here today November 8 2024 listening to this and it means more now than it ever has. My Papa died on March 1st and he was a vietnam veteran. This has been a tough year but things are looking up and America is back!!! Trump 2024!!!!
I knew many Vietnam veterans in my life and Army career. They did their job despite never having the support their fathers did in WWII and even Korea. God bless your dad and the others who fought like hell in an unpopular war.
Who ever complained to RUclips about this video has never served in the military nor has any appreciation for it! Me- 82nd Airborne/ Afghanistan. My dad- 4th Infantry/ Vietnam. War is awful and people should never forget the sacrifices of brave men and women.
I heartily concur. War is hell. I can't begin to imagine what it was like to be in battle, regardless of the conflict (WWI; WWII; Korea; Vietnam; Kuwait; Iraq; Afghanistan). For all those who served and never made it home---may their memories be for a blessing. Take care and be safe.
8 years now I have listened to this song! Remember those who have fallen, thank those who served! A moment of silence for the men that lost their life this day many years ago! 😔

Absolutely disgusting that a song meant to honor those who gave their lives is flagged, but they have no issue allowing violent crimes to be shown without restriction.
This song has a whole new meaning for me my grandfather died November 8th.1992 exactly 27 years after this devastating time in Vietnam. He was also an Army Airborne Ranger

I forwarded this song/video via email to a slew of people yesterday; 11/8/2021 as I have for the past decade. The song & video give me chills no matter how many times I hear it. This is such an important week for all Veterans and all Americans. The 8th of November and The 11th Day of the 11th hour. "Lest We Forget". 🇺🇲🗽🦅💈
I started posting on my facebook page as within the last year the number of Vietnam Vets that I know that have died with exposure to agent orange, trust the science, right, is taking its toll.
Unfortunately these men sacrificed themselves for a cause. Freedom and liberty. Which people can't comprihend today. We have a world full of selfless bitches. Who are afraid to take a stand. In case it offends someone. Thank fk I'm not that weak. Unjabbed and a pure blood. Not afraid to take a stand against tyranny.

Crazy how this song makes my stomach hurt and my tears flow in a good and bad way at the same time. Big & Rich you have truly touched people with this song and told a story that needed to be told.
My neighbor was in this battle. His name was Clinton poley. He was shot three times, once in the head. Somehow survived but he never left his post and kept fighting. He recently passed away a month ago. Great song
We lost my grandfather in February of last year he served alongside the 101st airborne division from 1960 until he was transferred to the 5 special forces group in 1962 where he spent the remainder of his career in the army as a communications specialists however he wouldn't talk much about his military service but when he did he would always say god bless the 101st he once told me a story about how one platoon from the 101st airborne went into and didn't expect to survive and in the end even though they sustained heavy casualties they fended off over 300 NVA regulars
I don't care about criminals that want to fight cops I don't want to remember their names but these names I will remember for real this generation understands nothing but giving it away shaking my head great song it's too bad these people were spit on and called baby killers that breaks my heart
@Boomers On a Ferris Wheel All I'm gonna say.is this. Sometimes we have to do the wrong thing, for the right reason. Showing a willingness to lay down your own life, for a loved one, is the right reason, and that is what that ink stands for. I'm pretty sure.He understands why you got it. On the tattoo reference in the Scripture, you Also have ve to look at the history of that region. There were groups who, as part of the mourning process, would heavily tattoo them self, to honor, (for) their dead. IOW, Why.is a factor. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone with Il Duce's prayer on his right ribs, and the family prayer from the Boondock Saints, over his heart, because he believes in what those prayers mean. Pretty much, if you spill the blood of the innocent, then, eith His blessing, your blood will also be spilled, if need be, by my hand. As a father, friend, Brother, and a husband, I would lay my own life forfeit, for those I love, and if neccessary, die, or kill, to protect them, and those unable, of protecting themself. Even Jesus told his flock to arm themselves, and if need be, sell their cloaks, to buy a sword, as it is better to be naked, than defenseless.
@Third Eye 3 Some people might argue the context around those implies that its sinful to use marking on your body to show devotion or worship to another God.
I can't believe the "RUclips Community" finds this song offensive! I find it offensive that so many people in this country are so ignorant and misguided. God help us all!
God bless Big and Rich for dedicating this song to honor the 173rd Airborne brigade. They lost a lot of good men on the 8th of November, 1965 in Vietnam. We salute them for their bravery and service.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
If your heart doesn't stop during this song, pull the dirt back up cause your dead or numb. A heartfelt thanks to all who have and continue to serve this great country.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!! And for me I have listened to it literally a thousand or so times AND THE TEARS ROLL EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!! Nothing makes me prouder than ANY of our military, reserves, etc. I LOVE OUR COUNTRY & pray on THIS VERY IMPORTANT YEAR THAT NOV 3, 2020 DO NOT UNDO ALL THESE YEARS SO MANY have bled & died for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE FOR OUR FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with ya RUclips shouldn't have flagged 8th of November cause it's in honor of all my nam brothers that never came home shame on you RUclips shame
My husband almost cried when he heard this song. He went in with 25 men, 5 walked out of the jungle. The dead are all together on the wall. We have visited many times and he heads straight to that panel and prays.
Don't forget that South Korea was also on our side in Vietnam. A lot of people who have served in Vietnam did so alongside the South Korean military and have said that the Viet Cong were terrified of the South Korean troops in addition to revealing the Korean troops would beat each other up just for fun.
The father of nine in my close friends, and an ex, was there, 8 November, 1965. I still remember the first time he saw this video, and recognized some if the faces in it,.including the medic who saved his life. Aside from his daughter's wedding, last spring, it is the only time I've even seen him cry. The next day, he sat down, and told us the story, from his boots, on the ground that day. Something we never asked about, out of respect for him. A habit that I picked up, growing up around marines and sailors, who served over there. I remember their tears, for those who didn't make it back, and for all who did, forever changed. For those who served, and who are serving now, thank you.
Wow. That's amazing. I hope to someday visit the grave of Lawrence Joel and pay my respects. Lawrence made history as the first living black man since the Spanish-American War of 1898 to receive the United States Medal of Honor for his actions. I also hope to visit Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado to visit the grave of a Korean War veteran who died with no surviving family members but was buried with full Military honors at Fort Logan. Also buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery are Stephen Curnow and Kyle Velasquez; two of the victims of the April 20th, 1999 shooting at Columbine High School.
As a Veteran of Desert Storm..I would sincerely like to extend my gratitude and thanks to all who served and are currently serving..no matter what war..conflict..battles we were in at the end of the day we r all brothers with a bond that can never b broken..Thank you all..Semper Fi
One of my all-time favorites. I play this a half dozen times each year. So proud, this is a story that can't be forgotten. Beautiful harmonious boys...
It’s the 8th of November 2024, I listen to this song every year on this day. This song has special meaning to me. My dad was there and he survived. He will always be my hero❤
I am a nobody. You'll never really know my name. I will say this my grandmother and my grandfather and my uncle they were all military. I didn't get to serve and I regret that I will my entire life. Thank you. I have a daughter I have wife I have a home it's all because of men like you.. thank you I don't consider myself a coward but I wish I would have joined. You in the other men you serve with you guys are my heroes. I can't prove but I swear to God I don't care about Kate's I don't care about iron suits I don't care about nothing all I care about is thank you God bless you and I hope you're rich I hope you have more money and you can spend. But I know it's not about money. Again thank you
As a 29 year Army, 82nd ABN Veteran retired who had 8 combat tours. My mind & body returned to the land of the big PX, but my soul is still missing in action!!! 🥲
I think this is a great honor to the 173rd Airborne from Big & Rich great job Big & Rich are all our military men should be honored for any of us there fighting for our freedom from World War 1 to Afghanistan Al should be honored in my opinion give those boys whatever they need and want God bless them all
God Bless those who protect our precious freedom. Big and John, I ran the lights when you played this in Ocoee with the veteran on stage. This grown man cried at the light board that night. You’re true patriots.
This song always makes me cry. I enlisted when I was18 and arrived in Vietnam at 19. And like most combat soldiers I have dates in my memory that stand out. I was with the Recon Platoon of Echo Company 2/8 1st Cavalry Division . On the 8th of March 1970. We were surrounded , out numbered it was getting dark and the field we were defending was on fire. So yeah i can relate to this song.. There are no songs to commemorate the experience of what my friends and I went through or of the countless thousands of young soldiers who did combat in Nam. So when I hear this song I think back to my old friends . Gone now over half century and the tears come. Thanks for posting this
@@thomaslane9082 Hello Thomas. Im sure we did eat as you said some of the same dirt. There is a group called the Charlie family ( the formal namei on facebook is. Charlie company 2nd Bn. 8th cav (AM) 1969-1970) it is on facebook. A group made up of men who served in Charlie 2/8. Since my platoon Echo Recon 2/8 fought with Charlie company on several occasion including Fire Support Base Illingworth we are included in the family. It is a honor. The head of the facebook group is George Hobson. a former company commander . Their are also guys named , John Naylon, David Dedrick, Richard(Rick) Hokenson. Larry Spaun, and Byron(Lord Byron ) Lourd. If any of these names are familiar to you I suggest you reach out as they are all on facebook. That little fracas you mentioned in the Dogs head. When that troop from the 11th ACR got bushwhacked. Recon was involved in that as well. We made a Charley Alpha into a LZ that' was entirely too hot for my liking. It was a very interesting morning. . Im very glad to hear from you and take care. Honor and Courage
My uncle Sargeant Donald Layfield died that day! He was carrying the big gun. Not sure of the name of the machine gun but you would know. He was all muscle but lean strong and tall, the guy behind him had the ammo. Needless to say, they took him out. He was 20. My dad's baby brother. To this day, dad gets teary talking about him. I remember him, I was 6 when he died. He was always smiling, joking and a great person. I wondered if by chance you served alongside with him that day or remember him. I would love to know. Thank you so much for your service.
This tune always puts a lump in my throat. Thank you Big and Rich, it's beautiful. I have a friend who served in the 173rd as an airborne grunt and was there in 1965 - 66. He came home and studied to become a highly regarded plastic surgeon. I don't know if he was caught up in the LZ X-Ray fight, have never asked him and never will. When he does feel like talking about those days, I always listen. Even though he came home alive, he has the hurt that'll never go away. Thank you and welcome home to all of my brothers and sisters who served....... 67N2F, 201st Aviation Company (Assault Helicopter) "Red Baron 497" ROK, 79-80.
Today is November 8th, 2024. It's been 59 years to the day that these terrible events happened. RIP to the men of the 173rd Airborne. Blessings to those who served and survived. Freedom always comes at a terrible cost. May we never forget. And may these good peoples' memories be for a blessing.
My daddy was 101st Airborne. He just passed away 2 years ago.. he was my best friend and will forever be my hero and my angel. Until we meet again... ❤️
beutiful , there was a older gentleman who lived in. my town. who served in 1965 November 8th. and his story's made him a hero and unfortunately no one treats him with the respect he desurved except me because he was a hero. who risked his life for the future such as me and he died as a hero in my eyes and this song. matches the stories he had told me.
I know I guy who served then to surprisingly he's alive still but he has a little limp but he's cool he taught me how to ride and shoot and aim good I love him
I only listen to this song a couple of days a year. Afghan vet but this song speaks and no other song that can jerk tears like this. Respect to whoever wrote this song
1000% I love this. This song is not offensive in any since of the word. RUclips is woke. Horrible move. Stop driving the wedge further and start bringing back peace. God love this county. Be Blessed.
I served with Kelly E. Whitaker (@1:10) in the 101st Airborne (3/187th). We became best friends before he left for Vietnam. I found out about his death just days before I left for Vietnam in December 1965. SFC Brayboy was my platoon sergeant in the 101st and I only found out that he died 8 November 1965 earlier this year. RIP and God Bless You!
@@chrislowry3822 I am so very sorry to hear that Chris. It got a lot of damned good men and, still is. I have 2 Brothers in the Louisiana War Vets Retirement Home in Jackson, Louisiana. I visit them several times a year and play music for all of them. My prayers are with you and your Family.
Today is the day, 59 years later. My thanks to all who fought, are fighting, or stand ready to fight now or in the future for this great country. I'm grateful. Well done Lawrence Joel. Awesome job B&R.
During the Vietnam draft, dad got called up. Grandma went to mass. She spent months praying. After basic, there were two busses, dad was assigned the second one. The first was sent to Vietnam, dad's bus was sent to South Korea to patrol the DMZ. My family still prays daily for our service men and women.
One of my most favorite songs from Big & Rich but also the one that brings me to be sobbing mess no matter where I am! 🇺🇲❤ I thank EVERY Solider that has served (including my dad)
Brother, my war was in '91, but, yes, all who served before, and after, are our brothers. Be safe. When the nightmares come, never be ashamed to reach for a hand of comfort, or solace.
HOOAH !!! i agree with you on that, because all Veterans, no matter what branch they serve in, are my Brothers and Sisters and they always will be and they will always have my respect and support
There are truly no words to describe how much this song means to me!! I fight me demons on a daily basis and this song helps me get through everyday. I play this numerous times a day just to get me through.
This was my brother-in-law's favorite song, he passed away on Nov. 9th 2016. My sister played this at his wake. I can't listen to song without crying. He was a 20 year vet.
I have undying respect for all those who fought and have fallen in Vietnam. My grandpa served as a marine for 6 years in Vietnam sadly passed away from cancer in 2001. I didn't know him that well but I knew he was one hell of a man.
I've had the pleasure of meeting and roomateing with one of the survivors of the 173rd airborne from the 8th of November massacre while being homeless here in Montgomery Alabama. So to you Mr. Joel Hartley I salute you sir. You educated me more than you know.
I was drafted into the marines Dec 1969. Fortunately I was made into a payroll clerk so I was spared of any combat. I came from a rural area and at least 95% of the young men in my age group were drafted during Vietnam. We had two who died in Vietnam and two who died shortly after coming home. You can say that war was a mistake but for we who served, it was still a war. Semper Fi to all who served.
With today being the 8TH Of November I would like to the brave men who fought that day, god bless you. To the families of the brave souls who did not come back my thoughts and prayer will be with you.
I Was amazing to see a message saying this video made be inappropriate. As someone who became a vet. I think our foundering father's would be proud of this song as I see nothing wrong with it Well done
Amazing song. I am taking my military friend to the Big and Rich and Gretchen Wilson concert and I am paying for it. THANKS TO ALL OF OUR TROOPS FOR FIGHTING FOR MY RIGHT TO POST THIS!!!!!!
I love that song my heart cries for those who were lost much to young but ats any war I will hold up my lighter for those people that served and lost their lives God rest all angels are watching for us thanks for your service ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is one of the reasons we stand for the anthem and flag. No matter how you feel about the war. These young men and women went where their country asked them to go. The flag and anthem represents all our soldiers all the way back to the Revolutionary War. We wouldn't have a country to live in if they hadn't answered the call.
On November 8 of 2020 I lost my grandma at 3 o clock in the morning, I watched her take her last breath, well I watched the ventilator take her last breath because she wasn't breathing on her own, she died because she was very sick, she had heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure. RIP mawmaw I love you🙏🙏
My father served 3 tours in Vietnam as an airborne ranger , received 3 purple hearts, a bronze and a sliver star ,this song makes me think of him and what he went thru there .And what our service men and women are going thru in the middle east now. o7.

Rest in piece mr. kristofferson. I hope you got to shake the hands of those great men today…
I listen to this and raise a glass and a give heart felt salute to each and every one of my Brothers and Sisters In Arms
God Bless You All!

20 years of a classic.
So everyone came to this song when hearing about losing Kris? Rest in peace sir.
No not for that reason at all listen to this song alot. Didn't know of his passing long live a legend. We love u kris
When the video started my first thought is I wonder if he's still with us, I heard nothing about his death
When the video started my first thought is I wonder if he's still with us, I heard nothing about his death
Nope this has always been one of my favorites
I agree with ya RUclips shouldn't have flagged 8th of November cause it's in honor of all my nam brothers that never came home shame on you RUclips shame
My husband almost cried when he heard this song. He went in with 25 men, 5 walked out of the jungle. The dead are all together on the wall. We have visited many times and he heads straight to that panel and prays.
Sorry for your husband's loss. 🇮🇪🍀💚
Remember those who never came home. Honor all and ty and remember Kris
I like how you can see an Australian Flag behind the bar. The 1st Royal Australian Regiment was involved in the fight as well.
hanscombe72 . Aussies have always had our back! I’ve fought with you and your Marines are bad ass as well!
Love Australia... But why do you lot have to have the deadliest animals, plants, ECT.. Thank you all for your service 🤗
Thank you, Aussies!
Don't forget that South Korea was also on our side in Vietnam. A lot of people who have served in Vietnam did so alongside the South Korean military and have said that the Viet Cong were terrified of the South Korean troops in addition to revealing the Korean troops would beat each other up just for fun.
Ex aussie grunt :) Love our American brothers in arms cheers 🍻
Thanks to all of our veterans and God bless them and their family
Thank you all that have served and any one that are serving. God bless
That was so beautifully said 😭
“Semper Fi” theses lives matter!
Love it! Couldnt agree more
Everytime i see a older vet i try do show my appreciation for their service
OOHRAH!!!!!!!🙏🇺🇲💚🙏🇺🇲💚🙏🇺🇲💚🙏🥰🇺🇲💚🙏🇺🇲🥰

One of my all-time favorites. I play this a half dozen times each year. So proud, this is a story that can't be forgotten. Beautiful harmonious
boys...
It’s the 8th of November 2024, I listen to this song every year on this day. This song has special meaning to me. My dad was there and he survived. He will always be my hero❤
Another modern day tear jerker. Love it. My ex husband was in the 173rd Airborne but in 1969, a few years later.
Today is the 8th of November 2020. Salute to all those who died and survived
Men like this make me proud to have served with this unit for over 6 years and three combat tours. Sky Soldiers! Gone but not forgotten.
Same here 1st rock. 1-503rf
Again thank you
From the old "503rd" "Death from Above" is what it's about!
RIP Chris, you'll be missed.
Niles Harris was my first sergeant, fashioned my career after him...fair yet firm. Proud of him
As a 29 year Army, 82nd ABN Veteran retired who had 8 combat tours. My mind & body returned to the land of the big PX, but my soul is still missing in action!!! 🥲

I think this is a great honor to the 173rd Airborne from Big & Rich great job Big & Rich are all our military men should be honored for any of us there fighting for our freedom from World War 1 to Afghanistan Al should be honored in my opinion give those boys whatever they need and want God bless them all
Let's never forget freedom isn't free
God Bless those who protect our precious freedom. Big and John, I ran the lights when you played this in Ocoee with the veteran on stage. This grown man cried at the light board that night. You’re true patriots.
Freedom is not free. Many a veterans have paid. Memorable times come back on each memorial days and November the 8th. Airborne Rangers lead the way. 🎉
Being an Army Navy veteran this song hits home thank you Big n Rich ..for cranking it up ...God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏
Rip to all our brave lost servicemen
This young man is a proud testament to ALL Americans. As an old vet I salute him and wish him a beautiful life.
I solute you sir... Thank you!
May the Lord Keep them in his heart always.
Remembering these men 56 years today since their brave stand and sacrifices.
WELCOME Home boys !!! We love everyone of you! You never hesitated , you went and gave your ALlL ! Thank you 🙏
November 8th 2024….thank you for your service and welcome home.
Remembering these horrible events is the sort of thing to make us yearn for Christ's return. He will reign with righteousness, justice and peace.
Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. Romans 12:19
That does not surprise me nobody has any respect for anybody everyone looking out for number one.
I know a guy who served then to
I know I guy who served then to surprisingly he's alive still but he has a little limp but he's cool he taught me how to ride and shoot and aim good I love him
I show major respect for him
My neighbor served in wwII he was well loved in my neighborhood rest in peace Darrell
To all those who serve or have served in the United States Armed Forces, I salute you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your service Bother!
thank God for our military.
Thank you for your service!
Well, today is the 8th Of November 2020, 55 years since. If we don’t remember there story’s and tell them, they shall be forgotten, stay safe folks.
My Great Uncle fought with the 173rd in Vietnam 66-67.

R. I. P Sir
Chris Lowry was he killed in action?
@@kirstenhague5274 no ma'am he survived the War. But Agent Orange killed him a year ago

RIP Kris Kristofferson. You will be missed

i am not american but i tell you what, this song affected me more than listening to the Last Post. sad sad n told with true integrity.
People have such short memories, God Bless All Soldiers who give their Lives. God Bless.
God Bless all those who have and are defending our country today.
THANK GOD FOR OUR MILITARY. ALL HEROS IN MY BOOK.

Raise a glass to those who fell and those who came home. Heros all.
I thank EVERY Solider that has served (including my dad)
This battle happened almost a year before I was born but as a veteran, I consider them my brothers as I do all who have served!
Every November 8th, I raise a glass of whiskey to my fallen brothers from this battle even though I wasn't there with them!
Amen brother
Thank you brother
Brother, my war was in '91, but, yes, all who served before, and after, are our brothers. Be safe. When the nightmares come, never be ashamed to reach for a hand of comfort, or solace.
HOOAH !!!
i agree with you on that, because all Veterans, no matter what branch they serve in, are my Brothers and Sisters and they always will be
and they will always have my respect and support
There are truly no words to describe how much this song means to me!! I fight me demons on a daily basis and this song helps me get through everyday. I play this numerous times a day just to get me through.
Bless you
amen me too!! Not a day goes by that I get flashbacks.. This helps me.
From one Vietnam veteran's grandson to another I truly appreciate everything your grandfather did for this country.
Robert Lytle . Semper Fi Brother!
Thank you for your service I don't care if you were sitting behind a desk or if you had a gun running into battle thank you. You saved my family.
Robert Lytle thank you for your service, may god bless your soul
Semper Fi! To the few with our blood type
It doesn't matter if you were on the front lines or if you were behind the scenes (as you were a payroll clerk); but what matters is that you served.
Tear up every time. God bless all who have died for me.
With today being the 8TH Of November I would like to the brave men who fought that day, god bless you. To the families of the brave souls who did not come back my thoughts and prayer will be with you.
These two have perfect harmony with each other, perfect. This song is so sad and amazing
I Was amazing to see a message saying this video made be inappropriate.
As someone who became a vet.
I think our foundering father's would be proud of this song as I see nothing wrong with it
Well done
This song and this video kick ass and give me chills.
Whether or not you like country music or Big & Rich, you cannot deny the power of this song,
Amazing song. I am taking my military friend to the Big and Rich and Gretchen Wilson concert and I am paying for it. THANKS TO ALL OF OUR TROOPS FOR FIGHTING FOR MY RIGHT TO POST THIS!!!!!!
Hey Andelain.
How are you doing I see you have been also a fans to this channel like me that's cool.
For how long now?
Wish these guys would give us a few new albums. NOBODY ELSE on top 40 hits the raw emotion these guys did.
I love that song my heart cries for those who were lost much to young but ats any war I will hold up my lighter for those people that served and lost their lives God rest all angels are watching for us thanks for your service ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I saw Big and Rich perform this awesome song I cried!!
This is one of the reasons we stand for the anthem and flag. No matter how you feel about the war. These young men and women went where their country asked them to go. The flag and anthem represents all our soldiers all the way back to the Revolutionary War. We wouldn't have a country to live in if they hadn't answered the call.
Now this country is getting trasched by the Democrats. Trump loved this country we shouldnt have lost him
MAGA live on
On November 8 of 2020 I lost my grandma at 3 o clock in the morning, I watched her take her last breath, well I watched the ventilator take her last breath because she wasn't breathing on her own, she died because she was very sick, she had heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure. RIP mawmaw I love you🙏🙏
Thank you, for making this rip
One of the best songs ever written! Every American should listen to it's message.
I’m not a cryer but Jesus does this song make me whell up
My father served 3 tours in Vietnam as an airborne ranger , received 3 purple hearts, a bronze and a sliver star ,this song makes me think of him and what he went thru there .And what our service men and women are going thru in the middle east now. o7.
I listen to this song every year. Ever year, I cry.
