What kind of sharpener do you use to get so much of the pigment to show? Such a long point

What paper did you use?
For this I used some cheap no brand card similar to Bristol I guess, it ended up quite shiny and smudgy, I don’t think I’ll use it again, thanks for the sub much appreciated!
