Are you aware of P/E , EPS and PEG Ratios?
Louis, there’s no right to wrong when it comes to investing, however, I personally think it’s bad advice to tell people not to diversify. While buying 20 to 30 shares makes no sense, I agree, 5 to 10 is a more reasonable approach. It’s very rare that even professionals are able to pick a single stock as a winner, the idea with the portfolio is that you get more right than wrong, even though you get some wrong. Overall your portfolio should perform at least as good as the market, and if you are picking winners, you should be able to out perform the market.
Thanks for your comment and for sharing your opinion. Im completely open to it. I do just want to make it clear that it's just my opinion and not advice at all. I just see many people buying 10 or 20 stocks when starting out but not knowing what is going on with their financials or even understanding the bussiness at all.. In my opinion, that is gambling. Sticking to fewer stocks but really understanding the business is definitely much less risky. If you already have a large portfolio, then it's a different story, and diversifying makes a lot of sense. Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts. All th best.
@@louisreynhardt ,absolutely agree with you, some of us , really believed that the more stocks you owned , not even bothered to check let alone studying those financials of those organisation , meant you've ensured that you didn't put all your eggs in one basket, so thank you so much for this enlightenment.
hi...i agree with you regarding MTN...lookung to getting in around R 90.50c and load up below R 87.00.......pick and pay is also a very good short term buy,,,at the current price and off load after R 25.00
Thanks for sharing. Haven't checked out Pick and Pay yet. Will consider making a video about this.
All the best
"Hi Louis, it's guys here" 😂 Did I hear right? Haha! Love your channel 💕 I have focused investments although I plan to diversify. Reason? A focused portfolio will make you wealthy, a diversified portfolio will keep you wealthy. Hedge those bets, peeps!
Haha, yes, you did.🤣🤣 Great tip btw and thanks for adding value to the comments. That is absolutely true 💯
@@louisreynhardt you're welcome! Thank you for sharing your knowledge 😊✨️
Hello Louis which broker do you requment for investing in stock
You can try Easy Equities or Brokstock
I use both
You can sign up with my link : BROKSTOCK : iOS and Android: app.adjust.com/1as603xi_1aw9rawo
You're the truth fam! We appreciate the content!
Thanks for watching my friend 💪🏻 🏆
Great vid as always. Jumping ship from Easy Equities to stockbrok is not an option kum. Anyhow, considering your high interest in properties, would you consider doing an analysis on REITS?
Thanks for watching. Absolutely, I also love Easy equities and prefer using it as my main broker. But I thought I'd share an alternative. Check it out. it's pretty cool.
Also, thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely look into REITs going forward 💪🏻
Hi Louis. I’ve watched your videos now for a while, you’ve replied to some or my comments and for that I thank you. I’ve also commented on the exact video where I subscribed and obviously I keep coming back because I appreciate your tips and advice, there is just one question that kept bugging me today when watching a few of your older videos, and that is that I have no idea how big of a personal portofolio you are managing.
I get in South Africa there is absolutely no way anyone on youtube should say “I’m worth R5 million” or “my assets are worth R30 million” like you see with these American inverstors. But then again if your yearly growth is about 12% in investing and your net worth is like just R1 million, then the growth might be slower than I anticipate in following your tips.
Is there a way for me to get an idea of your yearly growth and perhaps even net worth? Or is that already in a video I simply missed? Or will I have to settle for a “trust me I’m rich” which I’d be fine with.
Hey man, thanks for your comment and for supporting the channel
I really appreciate it.
I purposely dont disclose my net worth or my portfolios for many reasons. First of all, whether im worth R10000 or R10m, the tips that I share are practical and can help you grow your portfolio overall. I also don't compare my portfolio to my self worth . You must remember, anything online you should take with a pinch of salt. I have no obligation to discuss my earnings with anyone.
Like you can imagine , that's very personal questions. I have disclosed some of my retunrs on the channel which are small but still noteworthy. My channel is not to impress or convince anyone but to simpy educate. People with the right mindset will clearly see the worth in that.
I would say to focus on the content itself and not who or what I am worth. Real wealth is sublte and not flashy at all. Many so-called influencers flash fancy cars and inflated net worths online to manipulate vulnerable people. That is not the purpose of my channel. I am a humble youtuber trying to educate South Africans with the hopes to grow our Economy.
100%. I’m happy with that answer thanks man.
One tip that I really liked of yours is to not get discouraged when your investment property doesn’t sell. I’ve got a R900 000 property that had 11 people sign for it now and none of them actually managed to secure a bond, so the house has been in the market for quite a bit longer than originally hoped which means the profits are diminishing by the day (because I’m not getting monthly higher percentage returns). I’ll keep watching your stuff and I’ll keep taking the good tips that I feel help.
@louisreynhardt Well done on your response. I respect you for the way you handled this comment. I agree that real wealth is low key and anyone with a brain can see trhougj these fake gurus and influencers trying to sell bots etc. Love you channel ❤
100% agree but risky
💪🏻💪🏻
You realise you do this on many videos. “What’s up Louis, it’s guys here.” 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't invest too much and came down like Mark jooste 😂
Hahaha 😆 😂 I think thats called fraud, and not investing 🤣
