    Beautiful!! As I have said before, oak is my favorite wood and there is no disappointment in this build, but of course I didn't expect any. I think you can build anything.

    It's a Great looking project. Thank you for describing everything in detail. Question on how you attached the table top. Did you need to allow for wood movement when you attached the top?

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  16 дней назад

      Hi...I showed how to attach the top in the video and it is not necessary to allow for wood movement on such a small table. Thanks for watching, Wes

    Good looking table, my only concern is the strength of the half lap joint,I'd be very tempted to put a 1" bolt in it to tighten it up and make sure there's no chance of it splitting

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  16 дней назад

      Hi...I am sorry I did not include that, however, the half lap joint has anchoring screws from underneath. I appreciate your comment, luckily I did take care of it! Thanks, Wes

  • @martinmoss317
    @martinmoss317 18 дней назад

    Were the wedges to tighten the half lap joint planned or a fix to an unexpected loose joint?
    It looks nice either way.

    Excellent piece and nice work! I love when you reverse-engineer online furniture and build it even better.
    I want to see you copy some large luxury coffee tables or TV stands with expensive wood.
    Thanks!

    Really nice, but wonder if it's possible to build this without the band saw and sander you use. If not, can you offer suggestions on purchasing entry level? Ty

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  16 дней назад

      Hi...I did mention alternatives for sanding on the video and the bandsaw is available on Amazon reasonable priced. Thanks for watching, Wes

    • @Salrodz

      @WoodworkingWithWes yes, I heard you. I appreciate your skills, but will never have the space and tools you do, yet would still like to build things.
