- Spider-Man on the Atari 2600 gameplay. released in 1982 by Parker Brothers. It was the first Spider-Man video game. Im not very good at it but having a good time playing it. So you might want to check it out its a fun game for the 2600

In 1982 my parents fucked 7 years later and I was born. 1989 i was born and in 1994 this was still the greatest game EVER!!
i was born in 1993 an think this game looks like a big pile of dog shit, glad i was born in the 90s. grew up with Super Nintendo, N64 and the wave of systems in the early 2000s.
But the whole world you grew up in was a pile of Dogshit! You missed living in the Country before it was destroyed. It must suck to be you. No wonder you play so many games.

4 and 5 for me. Then I got an NES for my 6th birthday. River Raid was my favorite. Now I've got out an old 2600 and spending way too much $$$ refurbishing it and getting the games I want.

i remember being a kid and went on a trip and my dad bought me this on the first day.. i had to stare at the box art for over a week.. drove me nuts.. i remember thinking the graphics looked like real life.. oh how things change ;p
My old neighbor had this game. I used to read a whole bunch of Spider-Man comic books from the time at her place, so it was easy to imagine I was Spider-Man, climbing up buildings. I recently saw the commercial for this game. It's so fucking funny and representative of the times. BTW, I played this game in the 1990s. Somewhere around 95?

5:44 I don't think I ever made it further than here. Splat! I went crazy when I glimpsed the commercial...there was never enough Marvel in the mainstream. And now, this is probably as far as I ever saw. I wanted the Hulk game to be great, but never found one for me. Big fan of Combat and Galaxian.

*It's the 1st Spiderman games ever made.* 35 years old and still great. I have this and it's exciting when you miss your mark with a web and fall because you know if you don't latch back on in time then..... *SPLAT.* (And also when you're running out of web fluid). This is one of the most fun and playable old ATARI VCS/2600 games.

I entered this concept into a video game idea contest at a School called New North, located in Springfield Mass, now called Gerena...sad truth, I didn't win the contest. But it was my brother's idea, I drew it out, and entered it! Yet, some lady gets the credit!
