Queenscliff Garbage

Back in Queenscliff looking at some older side loaders again, this time we get to see the Old Ex Maribyronong Hino MJE. I shot this over 2 years ago so I apologise if the footage is to a lower quality that usual, the video also gives a look the the Sidepak that I’ve featured before on the channel making the litter bin collections which was its usual run for the contract. Both these trucks have been moved on now with more modern replacements being brought in.

Glad you uploaded this, been wanting to see this footage for a while now. Good to see more footage of these trucks. I don't mind the sound of the hino mkiv that much. Spewing there gone, what trucks have replaced them?

The new trucks are fairly modern Volvos, little single axels like these ones

@@will823its mainly beach houses around Queenscliffe Council, plus i believe they only work 3 days or 4 a week off the top of my head, so no need for full size trucks. Saving much more money with these smaller ones and keeping them in superb condition
