Thanks for your brilliant video Liz. The message I get is to seek as much feedback as possible and focus on being a transformational leader, to lead by really appreciating the uniqueness of each and everyone of us. I can see how I have been the accidental diminisher on occasions and I can appreciate that my good intentions might have the opposite effect on others, especially when there are too many assumptions flying around. I really like the way you explain how you have learned to be vulnerable and recognise that much of what we are doing is really difficult; for example trying to make change happen within our businesses, rolling out new innovations and sometimes just simply providing a safe fun place to be. Thanks very much.
I am realizing I am a serious deminsher. I fall into each of these categories and recently had an employee bring up to me that my management style isn't working. My eyes are opening up to how I've been behaving. She's right, these leaders mean well and have the best of intentions but these behaviours end up hurting.
This is such an inspiring talk, I will come back to it again and again. I almost wish my kids were still smaller to try this with them first, and will try the question challenge even now. Can;t wait to read the book

I love this talk and book. Wish I had learned these principles earlier.
I find I learn much more when I listen with-out speaking up. I always want to gain by listening and pondering
