Beautiful topic I worked for both types, huge difference. The diminisher pushed me to resign and move forward to another life , it was toxic experience and I'm happy to move out.
I worked for a diminisher boss ( I can' NOT say that he is a leader ) and I can tell you that it was a hell experience . , I worked for short time only for multipliers and there are a huge difference in the employees' creativity . My boss was a diminisher by nature , he was very good at it ,it was in his blood and bone , he was NOt an accidental diminisher . I regret wasting my time working with him but the good news that lately I took the decision to quit the organization and move to another.
Leaders as multipliers is an inspiring and powerful energizer video.
A very well prepared, well presented and insighful interview by both of you. Thank you.

Most of leaders in the public sector are diminishers by default. They are selfish and they get rewarded by their superiors as such.
