Coin Guy hit the nail on the head on the head there with a lot of things. One of my reasons for appreciating my scrap silver coin collecting habit is also to learn about history, often through images, books and youtube. When I was 5 years old I started collecting bottle caps, often because of the different designs on the faces, but at around age 9 I was given many older silver coins from an old lady who thankfully noticed my calm curiosity for collecting. Thank you to the viewer who had the idea to give the silver dollar to a young enthusiast, and thank you to Coin Guy for honoring his request and feeling for the right candidate. Happy Birthday Guy :)
I am a big fan of your channel because you two talk about more than coins, currency, billions, stamps, rocks, etc. it's great, you have an all in one show for me. You and Coin Guy are funny and you two are getting the kids involved. I have a five year old and he loves gold, and stamps.
Keep up the great work. Big thumbs up every video. I'm a Florida boy myself I do alot of business with Brian, coin guys son, but I have to get back and see coin guy again. Love the knowledge y'all share with us. Keep up the great work Spegtacular.
Absolutely great show. I really enjoy the coin guy. He is so informative and fun at the same time. I am surprised he is not of the 100 most influential numismatist. Hopefully with RUclips that will change.
Really love this video! coins, food, animals &! Game of thrones!!! All my favorites! Thanks for sharing! 😮😊 My oil change is $90 with tire rotation. 🙄ordered a car, made a down payment, once it arrived they raised the price on me , I walked away & now no cars available at all. 😮😢 If in upstate New York… don’t go to Garber Honda. 👎
I miss trips to the LCS like this where you have time to sit down and enjoy the hobby. Now my is like a drive through you barley have time to tell them what your looking for much less talk about a series or trends thanks and love your videos
Great video! Love the educational information shared by Guy and the intelligent questions asked by Speg. Awesome learning opportunity for the newer collector. You guys have a good thing going! Please keep it up! Looking forward to the next video. :)
In the UK over 20 years ago they bring out a whole tray but it would be chained to the counter also if you looked a bit dodgy they hand a handcuff on a chain you would have to put on.
This is what made America great right here, small business owners talking about life with their customers. You wont ever find this in a Walmart. Bring back the butcher shops, small bakeries, barbershops, produce markets, neighborhood mechanics, etc. We need to get back to personal face to face interaction.
Thinking of teacher stories..... I had a 10th grade science teacher, Mr. Cera. On the first day of class with him, he wrote a capital "A" on the chalkboard, circled, underlined it and said: "You ALL have an A in science!" Keep it that way!" Never forgot that very inspiring teacher, and his brilliant motivation! I kept that "A", btw!
SpegTacular in your video at 13:40 minutes with the difference between uncirculated and mint coins I wished I first started with uncirculated coins over mint coins from the U.S Mint because a regular circulated 25 cent is only the face value if its an uncirculated 25 cent prior to 1964 it will be $1.25. Spegtacular this is a great video with The Coin Guy thank you.
@@gabechacon8375Uncirculated state quarters include those that were minted to be circulated but instead were preserved by collectors or unused. This left these pieces in perfect condition and worth a slightly higher value than circulated coins. As previously mentioned, the uncirculated versions typically are worth about $1.25
Speg, you have a treasure here with Guy. Don't rush the poor guy, your (our) time with him is valuable. And absolutely agree with every topic today. From a guy who opted for the GI bill rather than debt. Use to love catching snakes by the bucket full as a kid. Of course my grandpa, who was my coin collecting mentor, gave me a stern enough warning about bringing one near him.. well we never had a problem. Lol. Also thinking about getting my first CC dollar now, thanks.
me again love you talk about your local life as it is its the same here but where i am no coin shops droole over your reasonable coins alas dollar differances make it hard our kangaroos are ok thank you again from down under
Always enjoy Speg and coin guy videos. The best tag team in history. Next time I come to Florida I'm going to check in and see the coin guy. Common sense truth that alot of folks somehow lost .
AMEN- Coinguy continues to be a walking/standing teacher and historian- thank you Guy and thank you SpegTacular for sharing this special treasure with us. Thanks , Randy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COIN GUY...See you at 70. Love those Saudi gold pucks, wish I would have had the money to grab the 4 Pound...I didn't happen to catch the grade on them?

Absolutely great show. I really enjoy the coin guy. He is so informative and fun at the same time. I am surprised he is not of the 100 most influential numismatist. Hopefully with RUclips that will change.
I guarantee it will. He’s gonna get more than just a Emmy award ! Such a sweet heart

Hi Coin Guy and interviewer
Love your show. First time I caught this show. Keep it going.😊😊👍👍
That’s coin collecting, sometimes you win and sometimes you waste your time. The coin guy, a philosopher.

Coin Guy's stock is fascinating. I could drop so much money in his store. My local coin shops in Australia are basically dead. No new stock.

Great conversation! Thank you.
The "COIN-GUY" is now officially known as the "PROFESSOR" without a doubt; need I say more!

Uncurculated and mint is the same thing. A silver quarter is worth more than $1.25. Get a red book. All the information is in there

I can remember back in the day when the Slot machine would pay out with Real Silver Dollars. Well when you would Win which wasn’t Very Often
I was able to write-in Coin Guy's name on my 100 Most Influential ballot. I haven't seen the vote results yet.

Awesome video very informative. Please keep doing more
I just started watching your show and the best thing I like about it is the casual conversation 👍👍
Your gonna make 70 no doubt! I would out of pure ignorance I would get concerned around late 80,s and early 90,s.
Guy mentioned Harvard's Endowment is around 5 Billion, its actually 53 Billion. Huge
“It’s just the queen” may make it very desirable this week!
Love the gsa Morgan cc, that was a bunch of them, I’ve been buying them at around 310
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COIN GUY...See you at 70.
Love those Saudi gold pucks, wish I would have had the money to grab the 4 Pound...I didn't happen to catch the grade on them?

Happy birthday Guy!
Let's go love coin guy.
Here in Canada NO ONE is interested in "Silver Dollars" minted after 67 , up until 67 Silver Dollars were 80%.
Same in Australia our last year of silver coins was 1966
The later 50%ers ain't half bad for the price
We are silver crazy here in US 😆 Some 67 canadian quarters are silver from the first part of that year. I love morgan dollars!!
Canadian silver has a lower premium then US silver also!!!
@@collectorsendgame Hi my friend, I would like to order Canadian silver from you😁
Happy Birthday Coin Guy🎂🎉❤️
I know I could go on for days with guy about this stuff. My new favorite channel.
Another great Coin Guy episode. Keep 'm com'n!

I live in Maine and my rent is $1050 a month for a 2 bedroom and I pay the utilities. I HAVE to work 6 days a week to pay all the bills.

Happy 68 th birthday Coin Guy
LIKE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS GUY AND SPEG. YOU'LL MAKE IT TO 70 MIKE B. I CAN RELATE WERE BOTH OF THE SAME ERA
My GSA Morgan...has a bag mark across its cheek, a regular Frankenstein's Monster-a total zipper scar.
57:55 “ledge ettering” 😂
Great talk with guy as always.
gold morgans would be the best addition to a collection they should do that for sure .
