Thanks for the update. With respect to diminished demand and the continued disparity in buyers vs. sellers, the 5000 lb. elephant in the room is that people are increasingly just tapped out.
We do appreciate the content videos. The postings of price are plenty good at least in my opinion. Brian you are probably the cleanest data I’ve heard on status of the bullion markets. Most other sources are putting in opinion and hope it seems. So you insight is appreciated.
Oh Man! Don't go away! We stackers love you guys. And this is the only source where we can get real, honest information from a man (actually 2 men) working daily in the trenches. All the other information out there on RUclips is just a bunch of BS'ers trying to sell us their dishonest or overpriced stuff. I always tell people that Vermillion Enterprises has the best prices in the entire country and then reference your RUclips channel. Good luck guys.
Love the premium videos. Would like to order more but have to save up the cash to buy. Others I know the same, getting the cash to buy together takes longer.
Guys, your prices are great. It's the economic times period. Buy now videos should be your focus when you get deals. We all want deals when we have little money for metals. Thank you for all the info. you give us. A lot of people left this past weekend for their holiday week away, so that might have hurt your Sat junk sale along with the tough financial times.
Nice to get Tim’s outlook on things 🎉. The problem for me in Japan is that the Yen is relatively weak against the main currencies, so PMs seems high for me😱.
If I were in town this past weekend, I would have been all over that junk sale, sorry to have missed it. You guys have some of the best prices in the business so if you’re not selling much, I doubt others are either
I've been noticing it is getting tougher to wholesale silver to dealers in my area. Any advice on presenting new custom silver to local silver dealers?
First time being recommended your channel. I love the consistency of your hours and honest, easy to understand prices. I am going to be checking out the linked video about the difference between spot and melt. Thank you.
Some guy did a video Sunday of the Eagles you sold them for the flash sale on 6-29-24 and they were really happy with their purchase. I made a local purchase with someone else for a $5.50 junk silver value of Mercury dimes for $120. Many of his dimes were a little slick and I think if I had been able to buy a roll of dimes from Vermillion I would have been much happier. I will save up for a purchase.
This guy is really good. He can sell so cheap because his brain can process lots of transactions quickly and accurately and that's not very easy. Some shop owners can't beat his prices becomes they have to work slower because counting lots of coins and bars isn't as easy as it looks. It can be downright tiring too. This shop owner is very honest to so the combination of being honest, accurate, and efficient is why he can sell so cheap. It's alot of hard work though.
Now is a damn good time to buy premium silver. Cheap Australian and Canadian animal coins are plentiful and I have been getting them cheap. Brian, you might want to explain to folks how a GSR + Premium trade can result in folks getting even more gold. 100 ounces of Koalas can buy significantly more gold than 100 ounces of generic. Right now, those cute woodland critters are as cheap as farm animal rounds, but they will sell for a lot more come Christmas time. I've been getting cheap dragons and spaceships and other premium metal about 30-40% cheaper than usual. Its awesome. Never thought I would say Discount Marlin. 😆
Steve in panhandle says thank you for making the video, and keeping us informed. I agree with you it will be interesting to see what happens after elections. I think no matter who gets elected economy will get ugly after elections.
There is a premium on gold bullion. There are few lenders that collateralize gold. I make nothing, until I find a buyer willing to pay more than I paid. The current prices are down 4% from their all time highs.
Brian and Tim, thanks again for your insight, experience and perspective. With the current metals situation, mine is going back in the safe. I will keep on waiting, watching and anticipating.
I’m a dealer in the UK 🇬🇧 and I’ve been dealing with alot people with short attention spans. A lot new faces but loose interest fast they get the silver / gold bugs then fizzle out. . . . . . .
It's always in demand from me. Slightly heavy on silver, so gold has my attention for the most part. If we get closer to 85:1, silver would get all my attention though. Gold is likely going much higher over the next year. So either feels like a worthy place to put savings. There are people broke, but there are people waiting for a reasonable dip as well. I love 90% silver, but I'm currently very picky about which denomination I'm purchasing at the moment. I'll admit, if I were closer to you, I'd be visiting you frequently!
3 audits? wow. IRS making use of those new agents. Things seem to be getting worse. Sorry for you guys going through it. I wonder if you'll be seeing multiple audits each year from this point forward especially seeing they got an extra 7k out of you
Hi Brian and Tim. Great video as always, with discussion that you don't typically see on similar sites. One thing that current investors might keep in mind is that commercial demand from industrial users and Sovereignties is still decent, despite the fact that retail demand is at a multi-year low. The market is still governed by the large commercials, which is why silver is still at a relatively high price on the spot market. The point is that it would appear that a substantial amount of over the counter buybacks are going directly to the refiners and being converted to 1,000 ounce bars, which means that the junk silver supply is steadily shrinking. At some point, retail demand will come back, but there will be a smaller supply of numismatics and junk because of the current melt. Who knows how long this will take, but there will likely be a day when the premiums come back even as the spot prices rise.
Low demand, deflated premiums yet the spot price STILL stays strong....BUY signal if I've ever seen one. Market is just digesting all inventory thrown at it.
Well. Constitutional at minus 50, sold only locally, now needs to be opened up to the rest of the masses? That means us? Tim needs to stay employed. StackOn.
Sales tax largely depends on your home State's policy on precious metal purchases. Shipping costs vary depending on the product(s) and destination. Most commonly it's a $13 USPS flat rate shipping charge.
Hey if you are seeing fewer views it is probably YT messing with you. A channel I watch called Toyota Maintenance, all of a sudden his videos stopped being recommended to non-subscribers. Cut his views by probably 2/3rds. I think YT then came back to him and wanted him to pay to be recommended. Idk all the ins and outs but like you his subscriber base was going up but views were down.
My local coin shops and the culture of small men that buy metals turned me off. I still love the idea of metals, but I'll just wait for that annual show
Suggestion: bring in some different pieces. Not a lot But as a stacker it gets old with the same premium prices on the same products. Hand poured items. Bring a small amount of couple item sell through and bring some different items. Sounds like there could be opportunities out there. I appreciate your vids. But spice em up!
