I love all of your videos . I love the fact you are pretty much always out in nature, next to a pretty river or creek and It doesn’t matter much to me if you get skunked. I will always watch your content. You can put up all your videos that you haven’t found gold . Do it for the people. We will watch all of them ! Thanks
Jason, it’s always a pleasure watching your videos. I appreciate the content and very much enjoy your collaborations with other prospectors such as Dan Hurd and Brent Underwood. Thank you 😊.
I think most of us are in the same boat, with no experience with this type of work but deeply fascinated by it. Hell, I videos on cows getting pedicures too.
Hey these guys use neat words too. Crushin', hammerin', smeltin' oh my. Thanks Jason and ( Dan for the samples and mine day) A Blue Chip Special fer sure.
Gents, first, TY for the team up. You guys are awesome together. Second. What (if anything other than video artifacts) are the phosphorescent red patches on the walls as you walk back into the adit?
Hey Jason, Like you said at the end of the video - time to find a better gold mine! A lot of work & expense for less than a gram. Thank goodness the adventure was exciting! Looking forward to your next gold mine! Stay safe! Jim
Lol ❤ People have been kiln for less, you know. Mine your own bismuth. You’re crushing Jason’s style. I’ll give you a cupel of minutes to remove your comment. Someone farted, Jason smelted it. 😂
Of quartz but it took a long time to iron out his work schedule. Luckily he doesn't seem too vein and will always telluride away when he sees an ore able situation. Sorry if I wedged into the conversation, I'll just siderite over here and chisel out my thoughts.
Nice job but yes Dan needs a new gold mine. I am already subscribed to Dan's channel; I came here because of him. Now I have two very likeable gold mining channels. I am also subscribed to the fellow who is working the Cerro Gordo mine in South Eastern California.
⭐ Great team work, Jason and Dan 💛 Love seeing the gold sitting on the inside wall Jason was working on - too beautiful to crush though, but slabbing would be fantastic ⭐ Hope to see a slab in one of the videos 🥰
Hey Jason! Been a fan for years. Could you do an episode on how to processes mustard water? Or your experiences with it. Love your work! Happy hunting guys!
Thanks for letting us know about the mining adventures, a couple of weeks ago I was browsing some of your videos and came across the one that you had some green rocks and showed us the gold in it, just so happens that I didn't have a clue that the green crap that I had brought back to the house was actually a golden treasure, I used the green junk rock to cover My dogs graves since they really liked green grass and the desert doesn't have a whole lot of anything green without spines, so to pay homage to then I pick up a bag full of the stuff every time I get out there, the hardest pieces I take back East to make jewelry from it, so you probably have a idea of what I discovered, Yes what was crappy rock is no longer, took a microscope and thanks to your videos I just may have found a gold mine. 😅😮😮😮😅
I like making bismuth crystal pieces for jewelry..little eating sets or necklace pendants .. I even made a set of cufflinks with it.. I don't get a lot of requests or sales of them much..so I don't make it as often anymore.. but it is very fun to play with..and the geometric shapes it makes are beautiful. It is amazing how it naturally cools that way of forming those patterns.. It goes from basically chunky rock like ... to a melted liquid at not that high of a temperature.. and then when it cools again it is much like a metal.,but it is not ...and takes these beautiful geometric shapes . Maybe we can convince Dan to do an episode on using bismuth to make stuff or at least show about it. I learned about bismuth from a place that does smalting of ore to use for making rings and other jewelry.. the guy showed me what melting bismuth does and the reaction.. he gave me some of the pieces he melted down and then a small bag to take home and work with of raw bismuth.. I was visiting his shop in learning some new jewelry crafting techniques. I can't remember what it was he was working with . ... Some type of minerals or whatever with whatever stone or whatever and he had basically not been wearing protective gear and the stuff absorbed through his skin.. he had been dotit for years .and basically the toxin levels built up high enough he got sick and then started suffering serious medical issues and passed away from it . That's wear I started to study learning more about when working with certain materials and stones ... crystals and or gem quality stones that you should wear certain protective gear or not breathe the dust at all...to have an exhaust system and wear a mask....just in case. I didn't know some stone material is toxic to breathe the dust from it.. some are poisonous or toxic when leaching into water... Or give off toxic fumes when heated.. and you can never detect this unless you had special equipment to measure it.. and then it may be low enough levels that you would not know your harming yourself until levels accumulate and it's too late..damage is done..the levels are already high enough to have effect on you ..and it may of take years to get there..
I haven’t been inside a mine for quite a few decades .,,ever since I was following 2 others who had already cleared the side branch to the right, and right as I got to the central point of the side chute, a mountain lion freaked out and decided to make her break for it ! That was the end of my mine exploration!
I just love when you n Dan get together at Cerro Gordo silver mine exploring with Jason the owner of the mines n ghost town and watching the three of you prospecting the mines👌👌👍
The danger is when the meltal is molten and then you throw something wet in it explodes. My high school shop teacher did just that. Btw love your channel, and Dan's too
So much better than "Gold Rush" on Discovery channel. As a now retired federal firefighter I sure wish the Thumb of Michigan had some geology like this nearby... the UP is an 8-10 hour drive to the copper and iron country where mines abound... even gold too.
Hey Jason, been watching your videos for a while! I live in your area and I’ve seen you at my sons school when I was there to pick him up. Didn’t wanna interrupt or anything to say hi at the time. I believe I worked on some rental equipment during a pole building build on your property or next door a few years ago. Anyway, keep up the good work and love the videos!!
Man I love these videos. If I wasn't so scared of small dark spaces I could be with ya. I am better suited for the e-waste gold mining for sure. I watched mikes adventures with your foils. I am still a newbie but would like a try at them.
Gold - A human connector. Yay, what a result! Proof - move on which is always awesome. The next one could be 100 oz per yd. Thanks for all you do and great health to you and yours.
Question: I often hear mining operations quantifying economic minerals as grams/ton. I understand using density of mineral per density of ore. Does anyone ever account for differing densities of economic mineral vs differing densities of ore? Or is that a pointless measurement?
Jason's and Dan's skillsets and personalities really complement each other, making for a great team!
Exactly!
thats what she said!
Love seeing both channels working together. Both great channels!
Never get tired of the time you take to explain how you have set up your shaker table. Basically learn something new each time. Great entertainment
you guys together make a great pair we can tell you guys are actually friends, 2 of my favorite YT shows yours and Dan's thanks for doing a great job
Shock of shocks... DAN IS IN A MINE! 😮🎉
Another terrific collaboration. Thanks you two.
Your colabs with Dan are great. You two have wonderful chemistry 👍
Great video! Dan is a awesome guy. You too Jason!
This vid answered most of the questions I've ever had about hard rock mining. Then answered some I have never thought.

Love the longer format, thank you
Jason, it’s always a pleasure watching your videos. I appreciate the content and very much enjoy your collaborations with other prospectors such as Dan Hurd and Brent Underwood. Thank you 😊.
Jason ,jeff and dan my favorite gold miners Thanks
Been waiting for this one
Thank you for the fun prospecting with the two of you . I love it.
You two make great team. 👍 I enjoy watching both of your content and look forward to both of your next adventures. 😀
You and Dan make a great show. Love watching both you guys. Nice to see a fellow Warshingtonian doing some mining and smelting.
Love the action of the grinding mill ,good close-ups and that quartz was pulverized...
Always cool to see you guys working together
You two compliment each other so well. Great video!
Always good when you collaborate!
I love these videos man, I’m not a prospector or miner, I’m a freaking software engineer, but I watch them all the same.
exact same situation, software engineer also. Haahaha
I frame houses but in another life… 😂
I think most of us are in the same boat, with no experience with this type of work but deeply fascinated by it. Hell, I videos on cows getting pedicures too.
They are rastering the gold
Hey these guys use neat words too. Crushin', hammerin', smeltin' oh my.
Thanks Jason and ( Dan for the samples and mine day) A Blue Chip Special fer sure.
Excellent team Jason! And that equipment of yours sure does get me a bit excited! Good stuff.

I enjoy watching you two together- you're a great watch on screen- I can see the genuine respect you have for each other.

I love to watch you process the gold. Thank you.
Some say Jason is all bismuth but I think he knows how to have a good time while he works!
Haha
Lol ❤

@@4seasonspixThink mine operator is chad like him as well
It's now the middle of winter 2024, and .mines
Are closed. But watching reruns of Jason & Dan anyway.😂
That was fun! Great video!
Thank you Jason and Dan
You both are entertaining. Jason great video. Start up in mine to smelting. We need more of these
I really enjoy watching this union I must say... The way you both bounce off each other makes for great viewing!
🕊🇬🇧
Great video !!!!! You and Dan make a great team.
6:06 need to map the veins in order to understand where possible high grade nodes might exist.

you uplift my mining spirit with your fun at work
I love that this guy has everything in one video. Great work Jason

Cool to see closure even if it’s not a big gold strike. Your content is.
I’m surprised at how little gold was in that great looking ore. Regardless it was fun to watch the entire process, thanks Jason
That's why the first miners quit.
@@Michael-rg7mx many
@@Michael-rg7mx Who wouldn’t quit for that little return? That’s garbage barely worth calling it ore.

That's only $200 per ton! That wouldn't cover expenses.
wonder how much into jasons back pocket
Some of my absolutely favorite content! 🎉
Great videos guys. We know these are a lot of work. Thanks for making them.
I just saw like this very big gold grinding machine, great job mate. greetings to our friend Dan Hurd
Beautiful collaboration, very entertaining videos on both channels

Amazing video gentlemen. Love what you guys do keep it coming
That was fun. Cool stuff. I know zip about any of this but it is fascinating and looks like a blast....even with the hard work.
Awesome adventure Mate. I'm wondering if you vacuum the floor you'll be able to get the gold that fell off the samples. Please stay safe everyone
Great video. Jason when Dan and you make video’s together they are awesome
thanks for the ride , enjoying you guys finding out if it is worth it

Hi Jason do you ever find gemstones while mining for gold? Also 41:18 is that a lump of gold down and right about 1.5 inches from your fingertip.
The best duo!
Dan is the miner most scared of mines. 😂 I slipped on a twig and aren’t gonna even look at that part of the mine 😂 😂
Can't blame him lol
Can't wait to see the Customised Vehicles
What a good friend hey. Leaves you walking and packing supplies. Amazed you didn't have to pack the gen set too. But anyways good show and nice gold
