I was 8 years old in 1972 and joined the new school Chess club for a bit, (which I don't remember much of). Now I know it was Bobby Fischer who inspired a great Chess craze across the USA in 1972, and he was the reason why the school started a club. That means Bobby Fischer got a lot of people playing chess, but I had no idea who he was until after he died in 2008, the second time I started playing at a breakfast place in Grand Rapids Michigan. Nobody talks about the individual Fischer beating the communist system by himself, but that is the real story that we better remember.
I love the way you explain both th good moves and bad. Especially the reasonable speed you go through the moves. Not too fast bot to slow. Keep it up. Good luck going forward
Great played and good annotations and explanations by Anna. You playing into the end and never quit..Your games just mazes me, you have a clear bright future in chess...

I'm low rated but aggressive player. ;) Is knight e5 takes pawn g6 at 9:30 a sacrifice which makes the king vulnarable, then maybe threaten the rook w the bishop - maybe later push f2 pawn supportd by the rook. Just crazy speculation, I'd lose against most watching this vid in blitz. :p
I woke up today to find out you drew this game. Great result given you had some tough moments there. Does this mean you're underrated? Thank you for the recap.
You can greatly improve your chess game if you manage to activate the artillery much earlier. See Tal's parties. He had an unwritten rule "touch every piece (especially rooks) and then start sacrificing".😎😎
That is not a real IM because IM's have ratings of 2400+ but still you played very well and drew against a 200 points higher rated opponents which is always a good result
You do a great job of explaining what goes on in your head. Very helpful.
This is the most fun since I watched the Fischer/Spasky matches years ago.
Great analysis Anna.
Thank you.

I LOVE the recaps! They are the most amazing chess lessons. Thank you!

Great game Anna! Been looking forward to these recaps every day!
draw is perfectly acceptable against an opponent with a higher rating…Congrats!🇨🇦

What a result Anna! Incredible stuff, brilliant defense.
Was hoping for a match between you and Dina at the Olympiad!
A fantastic draw arising from a well executed end game. Congrats! 🙂
Nice game! Very calm and enjoyable analysis as well,
Congrats. By far the best result drawing against a stronger opponent (in ELO).

Good luck Anna!
My conclusion from this...Anna, you are so much better than me, I'm in awe. Oy. Imagine being selected to play your country! You're amazing!
Go Anna! Keep up the good work.
Es adictivo ver tus análisis con tu linda energía 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💛💪😅😅
Great Anna you figure out this draw by not moving the king from c2 and just move the Knight from b3 to a5 or a1 if the black king moves to a3.
Well done Anna:-)! Poor Dina!
Very instructive
It's so cool that you and your mom are on the same team. She must be proud of you 👏
I noticed you cut down on the usage of the informal adverb "like". 👍👍.
You are very smart, and entertaining!!
I think the first title was better, but this one adds a little mystery which is also good.
Have a great day Anna!
A bit off topic, but it seems like Pia has not lost a game through round 8, if I read the standings correctly?

Anna yo creo que vas a ganar esta olimpiada!
Where is the drawing?
Well held, Anna.
Congratulations Anna!!!!!!

What a cool defensive fortress!
You drew someone who was rated almost 200 points higher and your mom won against someone on her level. Very good day.
A draw is good too, congratulations Anna
Best wishes and good luck in the remaining games.

I observe your game. You're a very strong tactician!
Vlog about the whole day in olympiad 👍👍🔥
Congratulations 🎊
how long was the game?
That international master must have been demoted to an FM after this game.
Congrats!
Do we know if there is another mother/daughter pair in the tournament? Or any parent/child pair?
If she could get her Bishop on b6 and King to a1 the Knight is unable to move.
Great video!! Are you going to comment your mom games to??
Anna, are you going to post the drawing?
she created a monster her opponent’s black bishop
Peace. Great vids.
Really well played, but where's the drawing?
Anna come back to Amsterdam to play chess!

Hey Anna , next The Netherlands ,my country , i wunder also with youre mother and Eline Roebers , Hope you can draw .
Only way u would lose is if u did a Shankland premove king..😅

You are WAY OVER EXPLAINNING! This could have been a better video if done under 10 minutes. SRY!
Disagree. The more insights the better. 10 minutes wouldn't be enough to read the PGN out loud and give it context.
