    Bought one based on this review. Got the fancy 30qt. slate gray model. It will hold EXACTLY 30 pounds of ice. I've beat the hell out of it all week. It's HUGE and built like a Tank. The non-skid feet DON'T skid. The Drain Plug drains. Took the rope handles off because clack clack clack. The ice lasted 6 days, I'm constantly feeding ice out of it, into four 40oz fifty/fifty bottle coolers. The 35qt cooler from Yeti is $250, this 30qt Blue Cooler bought off Amazon was $169 and it WILL out perform the Yeti. Buy Once Cry Once. This cooler will outlive me. Thanks CountryMash!

    Thanks for the test, most people would never leave their ice chest in direct sunlight that long, so it more than likely would have lasted longer than 10 days and it's affordable.

    Very nice review and impressive product. I know some are saying why leave it in the sun. Well....some of us are tent campers, not backpackers but in tents, a cooler should NEVER be inside the tent unless you want bears, raccoons and what not destroying the tent to get the cooler, that being said, some places have bear boxes and by law the cooler has to be there or you get a hefty fine and rightly so, the temperature in those boxes gets extremely hot, hotter than outside. To have a cooler that takes these temps is great which saves you trips to the local store that charges an arm and a leg for ice. Thanks for your informative review I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting this.👍🏻

    • @CountryMash
      @CountryMash  3 года назад +2

      Donot Robme how cold? Ice cold... lol I have no idea. I bought it from my local Albertsons that same day and brought it home in my Cabelas cooler. It wasn’t transferred right away as it takes time to setup for filming.

    • @donotrobme9295
      @donotrobme9295 3 года назад

      CountryMash I’m sure u did great not questioning u. I’ve found how cold the maverick ice machine is, now hit my truck is, how long it sits out and then I finally get it in cooler and it’s leaking water I’m thinking the “ ice “ is 40 degrees and has no hope. Sometimes I’ll pull ice out of my garage freezer and seems it could be dry ice how cold it is. My inside freezer seems like 30. Who knows

    Who piles up 4 bags of ice into their cooler!!

    • @CountryMash
      @CountryMash  3 года назад +1

      There are many different ways that people like to use their coolers, so it’s best to stick with a constant way of testing a cooler in order to compare to other coolers and test videos online. The less variables the better. This is a pretty standard way of cooler testing if you were to search other coolers and videos.

  • @jamessammann9183
    @jamessammann9183 3 года назад +1

    Yeti would of only made it 3days ..they suck

    • @thecollinzboy
      @thecollinzboy 3 года назад +1

      It depends on how many quarts your yeti has. More ice takes more days to melt. If you have a yeti 20 don’t expect anywhere close to 10 days ice retention. But if you have a yeti 65 or 75 you will get much longer ice retention

  • @sal6423

    Nice cooler, but made in China 🇨🇳 rather pay the extra money for The made in American 🇺🇸

    • @CountryMash
      @CountryMash  Год назад +1

      I get that, but Yeti is also made in China. The device we’re both using to watch the video and comment is made in China. We live in unfortunate times where everything is made in China. I would prefer US made, but sometimes a high value product from China is a better buy than hunting down something more expensive that’s US made.
