And the award for best journalist in E3 2015 goes too.... Hollie of Playstation Access, because who else even bothered to take notes! Even without the notes thought Hollie still would get it. :D
Sean has said that in theory, it would be possible to destroy a planet's ecosystem. But in practice, it's next to impossible. These are PLANET SIZED planets. Billions of life forms. Also, it is not possible to destroy planets as a whole according to Sean.
I just have 5 questions: There will be planets where gravity is stronger? The game will have planets with NPC's cities and stuff? Can you have a big space ship where you can walk inside it or all the ships will only have cockpit? You will be able to build some kind of base in some planet? Is there an option where i can spawn with 1 or more friends?
Doge God Your suit compensates for the different gravity on different planets. No "shopkeeper" NPCs but other ones in ships might be in the game idk, no alien cities confirmed but there are ruins and such. You can't have big ships like freighters, only small cockpit ships of the explorer, trader, and fighter ship types. No base building. No.
But these ships that you can craft are only small ones right? I didn't want a BIG ship, just trailer sized ship. And i really don't get why they don't let you play together with your friends, i know is not an rpg but this would be more like a co-op thing.
Doge God Sean Murray has said that if the game does well and people are still playing it, then he would add a more "traditional" multiplayer as an update. He just wants everyone to play the game solo first.
The fact that this game won't be an mmo really appeals to me. So many games seem to force muliplayer on you these days. I'm glad this will buck the trend. p.s hello Hollie : ).
Njoy32Gaming It does feature both, but the massive scale of the universe makes it difficult for players to make contact and so it's mostly a single player experience.
Emmanuel Diaz I think I remember hearing in an old interview, where Sean said that at the center of the galaxy there is a supermassive black hole, just like most galaxies, including our own. There's also something else at the center, that will guide us all towards there. I'm hoping there are other small black holes though, just floating about randomly. Also, I wonder if any of the stars can go supernova. Which are the cause for most black holes.
I wonder if our universe is just a giant simulation and some idiot journalist is pissed off that they can't find any of their friends. A: "OK I'm in Alpha Centauri. Where are you?" B: "Andromeda." A: "Where the bloody hell is that?"
a good idea would be to put in some RPG features like, you can join the space military to defend the world like when someone is wanted it pops up and you have to go there or have your own space trade fleet where you can at special classes of ships for defending the fleet and stuff like that or bounty hunters
It's dumb that you can't just join your friends. I dont want to play this game alone, I want to play with my friends and explore the galaxy as a team. Thats what games are for me. Something to experience with friends.
+Aaron Willhite Definitely, I would get soooo bored immediately if I didn't have friends to mess around and discover stuff with. I need that social part in order for it to be rewarding.
+Dapper Dolphin Exactly. The lack of social system is a huge game breaker for me and I'm probably not gonna pick this one up because of it. Which is a huge bummer, because everything else looks amazing.
+Aaron Willhite I get the feeling that this will be a "community" type of game. I mean, people will mod it and ask for updates, etc. Things like having the ability to intentionally catch up with other people. (Unless the gameplay is asynchronous, and I don't think it is.) I am thinking because of this, it's best to play on PC, not a console. Skyrim, for example, is getting mods all the time, but not on the PS3 where I bought it.
That would be cool. I've always felt a bit left out of the fun with regards to Skyrim. I may take a "wait and see" approach with No Man's Sky. For instance, Battlefront is killing it on PS4 and I'm happy about that. Xbox owners have been ticked at Destiny for leaving them out in the cold. So...wait and see where it reigns supreme I think. (Or buy it on day 1 'cuz I can't help myself!)
The possibilities. Ever since I read the Concept for No Man's Sky in GI a couple years ago, I have been intrigued. I love the evolution of the procedurally generated universe. Hollie, I am so jealous lol. E3 was so insane this year. You replied to a comment I made a while ago, about how you usually enjoy single player experiences. I'm the same way, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, Mass Effect, etc. I would love to hear your thoughts on Horizon: Zero Dawn. That IP looks so amazing. Blew me away haha
Momodokon I melted when I saw the gameplay demo behind closed doors, we saw the same bit played in a totally different way. I'm dying to hear and see more! It looked like Enslaved Odyssey to the West meet The Witcher - Hollie
***** I heard about that! She snuck around and set up traps, forcing the gazelle-like green canister robots to run through the bombs. Then she collected the loot haha I really can't wait to see more, plus the fact that it is supposedly an extremely in depth RPG. I'm half tempted to not watch anything else until launch, it seems that awesome. Thank you so much for Replying Hollie! :) You are Beyond awesome!
***** I absolutely cannot wait for Horizon, you guys said you would see Gorilla on Thursday but I guess you didn't upload it. I have been a fan since the first Killzone, I absolutely can't wait to see what's up with this. And there morpheus game RIGS looks freakin epic! I challenge Access to RIGS match on release :D
ok i see a problem already so whats stopping the trolls from just flying around in space and blowing up every space station/trading post? that will quickly kill the game for everyone else so how will they combat the trolling?
so? even with that many you dont think some troll could wipe out an entire area of trading posts/space stations? good sir i believe your underestimating the power of trolls! now if say the trading posts respawned then yes the trolls wouldnt affect the game much but seriously what if you were unlucky enough to have a starting point near a troll? you could find yourself without any space stations or trading posts early on and then what? all im saying is that i can see trolling having an effect on the game not a big one but still big enough that some people might have their experience ruined by it
You obviously can't comprehend the 18 quintillion planets number, let me break it down for you. 18,000,000 x 1,000,000,000,000 (Yes that's 18 million times 1 Trillion) = 18 Quintillion You could play this game your whole lifetime and you will never see anyone. Hell you could play this game for 5000 years and you would never see anyone.
look just because i dont agree with you doesnt mean i dont understand what your saying its a lot i know but you forget just how tenacious trolls can get! look if only one troll devoted all his/her game time to going from solar system to solar system destroying space stations how long before that person creates a dead area devoid of space stations? now what if there were a hundred trolls? yeah thats a lot of places without space stations! and thats not including the random space station someone blows up for the hell of it! now if the space stations dont respawn then eventually it could get bad enough where someone could fly across several galaxies without finding a space station! also you forgot to factor in one tiny lil number! how many people do you think will be playing this??? also you forget one last thing the whole goal of the game is to get to the center of the universe correct? well the closer yould get the chances of finding someone else would increase! so what's to stop some troll from going to the center of the universe and destroying all the space stations around it? it could very well kill end game progression for everyone! all im saying is they need to make the space stations respawn and then trolls would be powerless
Bobby Boswell Dude the chance of you spawning within a 100ly of anyone is remote. Then factor in the ratio of troll vs player and you would have to be the unluckiest gamer in the history of gaming to find entire areas void of traders due to trollage
i hope they add intelligent life that lives on planets. have there own citys and all. that would be cool af. idc if its rare just that it would be in the game would be cool af to me.
+martis gaming Sean has said big alien cities don't feel like SciFi to him, so there won't be any in the official game. However, Sean has also said he'll provide tools for modding, so it could be possible that way. It would take a LOT of work to add good cities to the procedural generation, but it's possible.
***** as long as i could make a village or something that would be cool enough for me lol just in case it gets boring looking at non tech beings all the time :p
Savoid83 So many people have put their hands on this game and I haven't heard a negative opinion from anyone who's actually tried it. People who haven't played it are always skeptical and people who have are convinced... what do you think that means?
Savoid83 Where exactly do you think NMS will fail to deliver? I feel that it has already demonstrated the most crucial components that it's been purported to have. Are you saying that the experiences we'll have will be nothing close to the hype we feel right now?
I can imagine everyone just going out and finding as many planets as possible, and reporting on each one and recording everything and so on and so on. This is probably the coolest concept for a game I've ever seen, and I will definitely be playing it. Probably even creating a Let's Play series on it.
I love that your on your own on the frontier of space its so lonely but at the same time your struggles aren't in vain when you see other stars you know there's a chance someone out there is looking at them to wondering if anyone else is out there in multilayer at least.
***** Hey Hollie! Can you add *seasonal change* to your notes? If planets have winters and springs, that will amp up the value of each planet significantly. Could you imagine just walking into a planet after a month and notice it looks completely different due to snow or climate change?
***** can the game be played without being connected online? Or is it required? It's a game I'd like to play without distractions from online stuff. Also my broadband is terrible lol.
What I'm wondering is, if or when I get to the centre of the universe, which is what obviously most people will be trying, when you get there there would be bound to be more people already there.... So would it be like an mmo in the centre?
well by the time a normal person gets there, theres bound to be hundreds if not thousands of people already there... ill try to get there straightt away and its not like ill be first
+Reezeyy that makes sence, they should make this instancing effect that WOW has. When 1000 people visit one place they are divided into groups of about 100 each and see only each other. And when you invite someone in group they transfer to your zone.
+Reezeyy The multiplayer will work like a big bubble around you, probably as big as a solar system, and the players who are in that bubble, can see you and you can see them. It's like carrying around your own lobby and the bubble has only place for 3 to 10 people. Sean Murray has explained this in the past.
I have no doubts about this game now. I know many people like myself were worried about what there will actually be to do in this game but this video reveals so much about it in a positive light. It sounds like it will surely keep players busy. If I get this game the day it releases I just might have to race straight to the center to try to be the first person there.
I have to say I'm pretty embarrassed that a game with such ground breaking technology is littered with complaints. I mean they built a real life sized universe to explore and 75% of people's comments are complaints about online multiplayer. If they figured out a way to procedurally generate a universe I think they considered the option of just being able to join your buddy wherever he is in space. Actually think about the pros and cons of this people. The experience they wanted is held more true with the way they decided to do things. I trust the devs. And I think others should too. Sorry for the rant but it's upsetting to see people say they won't buy this because of the multiplayer.
Got some questions. So the overall goal for everyone is to reach the centre of the universe? But if the game world is constantly being created surely there wont be a 'centre' or there will but it will constantly be moving? What do you get for reaching the centre, why would you spend time being a pirate or trader if the game just ends when you reach the centre? Is the game going to be constantly worked on by the developers, you cant have a world on this scale with a set amount of creatures and types of planets because after a while you would keep coming across basically the same worlds over and over again, only with slight differences. Is there a reason to attack creatures and get a high wanted level, do the sentinels drop really good gear? Is there going to be a kind of bounty hunter system where notorious players are called out by the sentinels and have a bounty on their heads for other people to hunt?
TheJackFroster 1) I get the feeling the overall "structure" of the universe is already created, it's when you warp to a particular solar system that the procedural creation will occur. 2) No one knows yet what will happen at the centre. 3) It's very likely that many planets are going to be similar, the developers are only human. 4) Defending yourself is my guess, however we don't know if the sentinels will drop anything etc. 5) Good idea, but I doubt it. They've made it very clear that you probably wont ever come into contact with another play due to the sheer size of the universe
hughgo2 3.) This would be relevant if it was the developers making the universe, however it's computer. We will see animals of general likeness , and we will see animals of unvelievably bizarre design. 5.) The police AI or AI hunters do the bounty hunting, they have not stated if the players can hunt each other down.
hughgo2 procedural generation means that the whole universe is already created using a formula and a seed. The same planet will be in the same place weather you discover it or not. So the universe is the same for everyone. Map generation is the same for the same part of space because of the formula that was used to create it so it's always going to be the same thing in the same place. hope that makes sense.
Waffle Wisard Yes! It's like, if Earth was procedural, China won't exist until you go there yourself, but it will always be in the same place everytime.
yes sentinels do drop some kind of valuable material that you can then trade i heard on a interview. As for the planets maybe repeating although i dont think they will ever be exact copies of a planet with all its life on it. You should wonder if our universe has similar planets across it with maybe similar color themes at least. but thats the excitement about it it, trying to find something new that no one has ever seen before.
Man the more I see these vids the more exciting it gets. People need to get the idea out of their head that "this is going to get boring fast" and "Aww i can't play with my friends". 1.) You can find your friends it just may take a while, let it be part of the journey. If you and your friends start heading towards the center then there's more of a chance of you finding each other. 2.) Sean has stated in other videos that once you do reach the center a new aspect of the game is introduced that will make people want to keep playing. I'm so excited and thrilled by the mystery of it all. Too many people want the entire game served to them on a plate so they know whats coming.
Dylan Scriven It is definitely confirmed for PC, and I believe (though they have not said outright) that it will eventually come to xbox. During their E3 presentation, they showed a screen saying "Console debut on PS4". They purposely avoided saying console exclusive
what you'll be doing 1. visit a few planets and think this is cool 2. visit another and be like "huh ive seen this before" 3. realize that there are only so many variations of a plain planet, forest planet, jungle planet, desert planet, and ice planet until you see the same ones over and over again 4. realize there is no story to the game, no NPCs, all these ships battling have no context or characters and you cant even explore with your friends and any actual person you run into will blow you up on sight 5. realize you wasted your money on a boring overhyped game
Wow thankyouuu, that was the most informative No Mans Sky video I've seen so far, you guys talked about sooo many cool things!! Can't wait to play, I already have a name for my first planet =)
I feel like the atmospheres are small, like the planet looks huge and you end up landing on it really quick from what looks like the sky is the ground. It looks like the distance from ground to space is just ridiculously too short. they need more sky or larger atmospheres or something. But the rest looks perfect and I'm really pumped. Itd just be nice to have the right scale planet/atmosphere so you really do feel the massiveness of the planet
true, and it shouldn't be. But the planets are heavily part of the game so I think they should have bigger atmospheres to make the size of the planets feel right. Its a small thing but nothing I wouldn't buy the game over. Just think it would be a little more immersive
+Tanner Barrett I see where you're coming from, but it's very difficult to be that realistic with such gigantic planets. Unlike games like Destiny, where "planets" are just small little areas, No Man's Sky has giant, 360° spheres that are giant and immersive. I don't think that technology would allow them to create a realistically sized atmosphere without the game having massive framerate drops and/or unplayable graphics. It would be REALLY cool to have an immersive atmosphere, however. Like, with gas planets like Jupiter, you shoot through all of the gas until you hit it's compressed, liquid form. It would be really awesome. Speaking of gas planets, I wonder if they'll have those in the game. Or black holes, and planets located near them (like the one seen in Interstellar, with skyscraper waves). Man, we need more details!
***** in an interview when sean was asked about it he seemingly brought up well you can go to the center of the galaxy but then it seems he withheld and didn't want to go further haha so idk there might be a link there but that's me just speculating... but he did say about after release and letting the game play out for a bit he will add things the community would like
This video here was the best video ever made for the game no man's sky. It Seariously was a summary of what Sean murray has talked about for the past years. Great video to sum everything up
+Kenn Tollens There's a lot more, don't worry. There is combat, both on the ground and space, exploration and discovery (ruins, creatures, etc.), trading with a galactic economy, resource mining, crafting, technologies, and a never-ending stream of unique procedurally generated planets. There's also an overarching goal-to reach the center of the universe and find out what mystery lies there. Technically, you don't have to go to the center of the universe (in fact, you could stay on one planet the entire time, if you wanted), but it's there for those who want a goal.
+Kenn Tollens Yeah. The developers behind this game seem like nice folks, and I'm sure they think they're designing the next big thing in space games, but I see this being the flop of the decade. Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Every planet looks kinda samey, and the color pallette makes it look like a bad acid trip.
There's a very difficult but optional goal. Planets to explore. Animals and resources to discover. Ships to acquire. Different roles to play as. I don't see anything that is missing. It's the perfect game.
I'm sitting here while they're fauning over rotating planets, and thinking to myself, "Have neither of you heard of Space Engine or Rodina? Space Engine is much larger and almost as detailed." I'm not saying I don't want No Man's Sky, but some of the things people are surprised by have existed for a while in small, free games like Space Engine. I just want it for the procedural life. Though I hope space ships will be as destructible as planets and asteroids, and not just flying models that explode.
Brendan Forish What does being a simulator have to do with ship destruction? I want nice voxel-y ships because that's more fun than HP. Dwarf Fortress proved this with it's perfect fighting system. Urist McDwarf throws !!vomit!! ! !!vomit!! strikes Urist McHuman in the right upper arm, bruising the skin and bruising the muscle ! Urist McHuman falls down Urist McHuman gives into pain
***** "100 percent fire" This is the main issue I have with your comment. Also, there are that many planets in Space Engine, and Space Engineers is going to have fully destructible planets. In other words, my hair is a Kazon, so your argument is invalid.
no one said nms is larger? they are both limited by our cpus bit limit. And ashton. Planets in nms are not fully destrucable you can only go down so far, every planet with have some land, and thers been no mention of fire?. However some planets can be eclipsed forever
What I don't understand completely yet, I keep hearing "If you're the first person there" but since the game is procedurally generated, how can anyone unknowingly visit a planet that anyone else has discovered if everyone's planets are unique? Especially if the game isn't "MMO."
***** I think asdf30111 has the right idea. If every procedurally generated world has the same seed then every universe will be the same. At the same time it must also be how you say. We probably don't actually play with other people but their data gets shared. That raises the question though, how are they going to store all that data? I mean, sure in the beginning there won't be much that's discovered yet but eventually the size of all that data will be gigantic.
kadajshm Think of how you computer does not crash once you open a mandelbulb up. In fact it should be even "harder" to render/store a mandelbulb at once sense it has unlimited details and No Man's Sky you only see one solar system and it does not have unlimited detail. Iterations help you (how deep should the computer show detail) and not storing any plants that do not have any active or only store the parts of the planets that do have active and delete the rest (after all the seed does not change and you can remake that part of the planet when needed at ease). I kinda wish minecraft did these but then it is hard to check if you mined something or not with out remaking the chunk, which would slow down older computers (but will make the file much smaller as you end up not doing any thing in many chunks other then run past them). Wish they added a settings so make save files smaller by "deleting" parts of the world which do not matter.
asdf30111 I never grasped it. Is it possible to actually encounter people in this game at all? Maybe it would be like destiny, that when you play online, you will meet people if there are any in a certain area. And maybe it will be so that you can¨'t make an "impact" on any part of the universe unless you are online? (by that I mean changes visible to other people playing online)
Erling W From what I understand there is not actual multiplayer part to this game (besides, assuming you spawn randomly, the ingame universe is so large you'd most likely never see another person in your lifetime). The way I understand it is that everything you discover, when uploaded to the eh.. the thing, gets shared to everyone else who plays the game. That way, everyone knows you discovered the planet... if they ever come across it.
Wow. I'm really impressed hearing these RPG elements to the game because it removes any doubts I had about the game. A lot of people are worried that this game may get boring over time, which is understandable but in my opinion that won't be the case at all Shawn was right when he said the game is really coming together. All the elements introduced at this e3 have convinced me that this game will be even better than I initially expected and I SERIOUSLY can't wait to play it. Please release it soon.
So are there space anomalies and stuff like that? Like will I have to worry about black holes or landing on uninhabitable planets with extreme conditions? Can I chase a random comet that I come across? Can I find incredible loot on a giant asteroid roaming out in the void of space? The randomness is really exciting but I want to know, to what extent is it random? I don't want the extent of the game to be discovering animals and dogfighting in space. I want to be wary of what nature itself brings to the table.
shinypear326 This was my first question too. Yes! There will be black holes, though they did not disc7ss what kind of reactions they'll cause. Yes! There will be comments, and not only can you follow them, but you can land on them mid flight. Yes! Space is just as chaotic in nature as the planets, I do hope these features live up to the real deal. I can't wait! Look up 70 questions and answers about No Man's Sky.
shinypear326 The game is not necessarily random because it is determined by Chaos Theory mathematics meaning that seemingly random and unpredictable events are predictable through simple, deterministic equations.
shinypear326 Not sure about Black Holes, barren lifeless planets are confirmed, I think you can chase comets, and yes you can land on asteroids and mine them.
It looks cool but I'm still lost as to what is the point. Naming planets and life on it is cool but what's the point if there is almost no chance anyone will ever visit it? Upgrading your gear, sweet but for what reason? Dogfight in space battles, ok but is there a reason of the space battles, like can I join a faction and start an empire? Is there advanced civilisations on any of these planets or all they all just basic planets? I can gather supplies and trade things, with whom and for what? As of right now it just seems very ehhhhh bland to me. Fly a ship, land on planet, name says planet, fly off, shoot space ships, fly to next planet and repeat the process 1,000,000 times for no reason.
Awkward Catfish This is exactly my problem with this game. It looks really, really cool, but it also seems to have no depth to it whatsoever. Unless they show some cool features where you can interactive with the planets it better ways than they've shown, this game will probably get boring after a few hours.
PhantomAForce Hostile? No. You just seem to not be okay with not knowing about the game. The reason the information hasn't been spoon-fed to you is because the devs want you to find out about it yourself.
I think at first it will be interesting and after a year or so people will find nothing to do except explore.i hope we can find planet earth which has all the real buildings and countries.
+ZweiDax GITGUD Could be possible. After some time, when enough people have reached the center of the universe, they could build a huge group to do these things. It's just impossible until this place is reached. The problem is just that we don't know how long it would take to reach that center. Maybe a month, maybe a year or maybe not even one player will ever reach it. We don't know yet.
Despite being infinitely big there is one sure way the trolls will prevail. Everyone is going towards the center of the galaxy right? Just build a empire there once you get there and block everyone from reaching it. Hell the trolls might make the game better it would be much more fun for everyone to play close to each other and have huge fleet battles then explore the void by your lonesome for the rest of your digital days.
+John Smith how are you gonna block anyone if there is no PVP or the ability to shoot other players? I think you forget that the game can also be played offline, so even if you did block the way (the center of the universe is massive and would take several, if not millions, of ships to even block part of it), all the person would have to do is go offline (or play offline entirely), to go the center of the universe without having to go through a troll's hypothetical waste of time joke of a blockade.
Well, whats the point in having a game about exploration, naming planets, species, fauna etc; without actually ever interacting with real players, finding friends you name it. While the game looks good, and smooth I feel like it will be a huge flop for no single player game built around exploration in space, with such abilities as naming or owning a solar system has any interest unless you have other players to explore with or fight against. IMHO
+Jason Trimble This is what I've been thinking, it'll be fun for awhile, but then it will get boring exploring and then gathering resources will become a chore... But they have said it will get harder and harder as you get closer and closer to the centre of the universe... I think they needed at least co-op in this game, then you could play with someone else and it wouldn't be as boring, but I can see why they don't have it...
Thank you all for your hard work bringing us suscribers all the great videos over E3, hope you guys are all having a blast and not ready for killing each other :)
"No Man's Sky: What You'll Actually Be Doing".... Absolutley nothing at all or the Sentinels will get you. :( You can mine, but you are not allowed to, you can hunt, but you are not allowed to, you can´t even play with your friends.... Can´t wait to buy this game and just stand around doing nothing.....
N. Barrett Fanboi much? Come on they make an open world sandbox game with destructible environments and hunting mechanics just to penalize you for for destroying the environments and hunt. Best game ever! 10/10 IGN :p
N. Barrett Here is No Mans Sky, heres a mining tool, that you are not allowed to use, heres a hunting rifle, that you are not allowed to use. Fun right? So there will be designated planets where you can do all of these things, but what if you don´t want to live on that planet? Too bad heres the Sentinels telling you otherwise. And all those planets that you are allowed to do what you want on, how many are those? 10,100 or 1000? No matter because there will not be enough of them for us all. So you will have the choice of just walking around Sentinel guarded planets or share a planet with 100s of other players. 100s of players fighting over the same resourses and not to forget all those funny Grifers who only play the game to destroy for others. This game will be fun for about six months and then it will be just another "Meh" game.
+BolinFoto In all honesty, galactic laws go far and beyond in many places, being penalized for doing something is quite possibly what makes me like the game for now.
This game aint gta5 nigga. You can do that, but the things will still try to get you. You arent supposed to, because thats not the perpous of the game, but you can.
Daniel Poursasan That's the observable universe, not the whole universe. Nobody is really sure where the center of the universe is, assuming there is one, but it's not every point at the same time
I'm so excited for this game, Everything i read and hear about it makes it sound like one of my dream games that i never thought would exist. I can see myself playing for years going from planet to planet mining, exploring, and fighting. Its the kind of game I've always wanted as a kid growing up watching Star Wars and Star Trek.
+Lord Sir Crumpet If we have these AI and information databases implemented into the robotic technology of a vanished civilization why didn't we just extract the information for the whole universe out of them? Not to mention that we could have used these robotics to improve our own technology. The whole idea is stupid and the "lore" at least the parts which I've read are unoriginal and this is the reason I'm calling it cliche.
Thanks for covering this game folks. No Man's Sky looks to have nearly limitless potential and it's mind boggling how big the thing is. I absolutely can't wait!
With a game this big, and a game this diverse, who's going to want to simply trade between a small cluster of stars? Being a fighter would be cool, but I just want to explore this place - it's what I do in every game, and this game is the pinnacle of that. Getting to the center of the universe is going to feel very satisfying.
I think they should add a warp system, where there are huge main space stations, and they "govern" TONS of little space stations, and you can teleport to the governed space stations from the main one, and teleport back to the main one from the governed stations, and you can teleport to other main stations from other main stations, they should add that so that players can meet up. Also, in order for naming, every server could randomly generate main station names and then number their governed stations. (Ex. "Hey meet me at station 358 in the Valiant network, I found a cool planet.)
Imagine if you could build in No Man's Sky. Create your own secluded Explorer's Retreat by the waterfall overlooking the sunset kissing the horizon upon a massive ocean bay. Paradise.
Even if this isn't the best "Game" in turns of game play it will most definitely be one of the must revolutionary games of all times. Not just because its a big open world with lots of things to do but because this is quite literally. A UNIVERSE SIMULATOR. apart from some Sci-fi elements this is possibly an accurate representation of a universe filled with life. People we live in a generation were we can replicate our entire universe for entertainment. This is amazing.
hearing new things like planet rotations (yes that is maybe small but seriously awesome) just makes me that much more excited. The only thing i have a problem with would be if you run across another player that there probably will not be a way to communicate :/
I really wish this game had more MMO aspects to it. Just imagining how much more epic this game would be with real time interactions between enormous groups of people and being able to map out the cosmos with your friends. Would've been glorious.
I could imagine searching a planet far away from everything and then goining there if your life currently sucks ,just to enjoy the beauty of the nature.
i just wish there was a fourth type: colonizer able to set up settlements, put people in the cargo hold, deposit them, warp back a few days later to see the town starting, and explorers start to map out the planet. that would be so cool
when i saw the first trailer i thought it didnt look to good but it is the game i have been looking for since i starting gaming a massive open world game
I hope this game ends up having a fast-ish way to link up with friends. Like having the galaxy divided into sections based on proximity to the center, and you can quick travel to a friend only if he's in a zone you've been on. Like, the furthest away from the center is zone 1, all the way to 100 or whatever.
As an old veteran of David Braben "Frontier" i`m realy hyped for this game, it actualy might be an most awesome rebirth for Frontier that i was hoping for in years.
Excited to see how people take this game and played in their own way. I really believe that eventually some sort of guilds will come about where people find a way to contact other players and make an efficient system for locating eachother. It's just human nature to want socialization and I think that maybe there will be some consequences, good and bad, that the developers werent really expecting. If you look at history when games like this that are so inventive and sandboxy, players ALWAYS find a way to do some incredibly unique and amazing things inside the parameters set by the "sandbox" and No Man's Sky is really going to let us players push the boundaries and shift the paradigm
And the award for best journalist in E3 2015 goes too.... Hollie of Playstation Access, because who else even bothered to take notes! Even without the notes thought Hollie still would get it. :D
I LOVE hand writting stuff, my note book is a work of art! Also, Nathan and the guys have a better memory than me ^_^ - Hollie
***** Is it going to be on disc?
IM4CH1NE Pathetic whiteknight loser. Focus on the game, dumbass.
***** I can't wait for this game.
***** Hollie I just pre ordered no man sky from amazon and its telling me Arriving Jan 2, 2017. I thought he said it was coming out soon ?
It seems to me that the sentinels were added to stop trolls from just wiping a planet out.
Sean has said that in theory, it would be possible to destroy a planet's ecosystem. But in practice, it's next to impossible. These are PLANET SIZED planets. Billions of life forms.
Also, it is not possible to destroy planets as a whole according to Sean.
NearlyDedicated well, he's said it's possible to damage the planet
NearlyDedicated I also commented before watching the whole video - d'oh!
Jorge Fernández-Miranda Correct - but annihilation a la Spore is not possible.
NearlyDedicated Yo do you have a life? you seem to answer almost all comments... jeez
I just have 5 questions:
There will be planets where gravity is stronger?
The game will have planets with NPC's cities and stuff?
Can you have a big space ship where you can walk inside it or all the ships will only have cockpit?
You will be able to build some kind of base in some planet?
Is there an option where i can spawn with 1 or more friends?
Doge God
Your suit compensates for the different gravity on different planets.
No "shopkeeper" NPCs but other ones in ships might be in the game idk, no alien cities confirmed but there are ruins and such.
You can't have big ships like freighters, only small cockpit ships of the explorer, trader, and fighter ship types.
No base building.
No.
Robohtman To go on with the ship thing it was recently said that you can actually craft some ships and multi-tools, you require blueprints though
Yeah forgot about that
But these ships that you can craft are only small ones right? I didn't want a BIG ship, just trailer sized ship. And i really don't get why they don't let you play together with your friends, i know is not an rpg but this would be more like a co-op thing.
Doge God Sean Murray has said that if the game does well and people are still playing it, then he would add a more "traditional" multiplayer as an update. He just wants everyone to play the game solo first.
The fact that this game won't be an mmo really appeals to me. So many games seem to force muliplayer on you these days. I'm glad this will buck the trend. p.s hello Hollie : ).
Tali' Zorah nar Rayya Why not have solo and multiplayer.. like Elite: Dangerous
Njoy32Gaming It does feature both, but the massive scale of the universe makes it difficult for players to make contact and so it's mostly a single player experience.
Because this isn't Elite. I get tired of people comparing the two. They both take place in space, true. But they belong to different genres.
The only reason I won't play elite dangerous is,because you are always confined to your ship.
Ginganinja
Press reply to the person you're talking to.
i wanna know if they have black holes in this game that would be amazing
Those have been confirmed for a while, along with other anomolies.
oh yea you right it was in an interview I saw a while ago I don't know why I didn't remember that part
Happens to the best of us.
BrainDamage91 Actually, Sean said nothing about what's at the center of the galaxy. He wants to keep it a suprise.
I wonder if our universe is just a giant simulation and some idiot journalist is pissed off that they can't find any of their friends.
A: "OK I'm in Alpha Centauri. Where are you?"
B: "Andromeda."
A: "Where the bloody hell is that?"
B: It's next to some ridiculously named galaxy called "Milky Way".
+MasterDeanarius Who'd name a galaxy after a chocolate bar eh? XD
+Danbutch24 it's actually backwards.
Ah haha.
sean wilkerson I never knew that.. Thank you..
a good idea would be to put in some RPG features like, you can join the space military to defend the world like when someone is wanted it pops up and you have to go there or have your own space trade fleet where you can at special classes of ships for defending the fleet and stuff like that or bounty hunters
+steprockmedia Xbox one and (I think) PS4 have support coming for mods. I can't afford a PC because broke.
Will it come to the GameCube ?
XD
+Niko Bellic Dont know but i think its gonna be on ps2
yes
GUYS NEW NEWS ITS ONLY COMING TO N64 YOU NEXT GEN PEASENTS
+Niko Bellic pager only scrub
***** My question: Will there be seasons? (Summer, winter, football etc.)
Ghost Of Razgriz Guerrilla's amazing. Killzone Shadow Fall is one of my favorite games in years
ok i see a problem already so whats stopping the trolls from just flying around in space and blowing up every space station/trading post? that will quickly kill the game for everyone else so how will they combat the trolling?
Bobby Boswell 18 quintillion planets are stopping the trolls, you will never seem them ever.... or anyone else for that matter.
so? even with that many you dont think some troll could wipe out an entire area of trading posts/space stations? good sir i believe your underestimating the power of trolls! now if say the trading posts respawned then yes the trolls wouldnt affect the game much but seriously what if you were unlucky enough to have a starting point near a troll? you could find yourself without any space stations or trading posts early on and then what? all im saying is that i can see trolling having an effect on the game not a big one but still big enough that some people might have their experience ruined by it
You obviously can't comprehend the 18 quintillion planets number, let me break it down for you.
18,000,000 x 1,000,000,000,000 (Yes that's 18 million times 1 Trillion) = 18 Quintillion
You could play this game your whole lifetime and you will never see anyone.
Glad I stumbled across this! No Man's Sky looks so good and it's obviously massively helpful to have Access to do stuff like this!!
i hope they add intelligent life that lives on planets. have there own citys and all. that would be cool af. idc if its rare just that it would be in the game would be cool af to me.
+Coley Durham who knows. it could happen
***** oh, thx man
***** what?
This is how Star Wars: Battlefront should be.
But battlefront was never about space travel and exploring but I want a Star Wars game that is like it
Boi Boi That's all I'm saying yo.
Have you played a battlefront game before last years release? That's never what battlefront has been about.
+prague it would prob be better to say this is how knights of the old republic 3 should be
+ben mcguire actually the original battlefront 3 you could go into space and on the ground at the same time
Mark my words when I say this, when this game is out (if it gets out at all) it won't be anything that they say it to be.
Savoid83 sure I'll mark them
Jorge Fernández-Miranda Yeah, you mark them good now you hear! But seriously they exaggerate a lot you'll see.
Actually you can start to relax after people have played it but I know where you're coming from.
Great information guys!! Thanks for keeping us posted and keep up the good videos
Faith and a .44 Thank you for watching :D - Hollie
***** if you are a trader can you communicate with the other ships? keep up the good work, your E3 coverage has been fucking great!
Im going to make planet Namek
Why if its just gonna blow up?
ColeJak13 But it'll only take 5 minutes!
You mean 25 episodes
KillerporkV2 ahah nice one xD im gona name one Pandora, another one Andromeda, another Galactus got so many ideas!
***** whats andromeda from
I can imagine everyone just going out and finding as many planets as possible, and reporting on each one and recording everything and so on and so on. This is probably the coolest concept for a game I've ever seen, and I will definitely be playing it. Probably even creating a Let's Play series on it.
Can we imagine for a moment, a No Man's Sky/Minecraft blend
+Travis Flagg Can we imagine for a moment, even more cancer?
+Xankar MMM delicious cancer :D Youll never beat it, so just have fun with it :D
"Boundless" look it up :)
+Travis Flagg no
+Ayy Bruh I was going to say Boundless, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't have space flight... What would be better is No Man's Sky/Space Engineers...
I hope this game wont be like DESTINY
Daniel Berentz Its not I SWEAR I hope not. when I first heard of Destiny I imagined it to be like this but its not
And considering who's developing it, I'd say where in good hands.
*we're
I see
Daniel Berentz its going to be a little better version of elite dangerous.
I love that your on your own on the frontier of space its so lonely but at the same time your struggles aren't in vain when you see other stars you know there's a chance someone out there is looking at them to wondering if anyone else is out there in multilayer at least.
Great video. Good research. Thanks for trying to decode this game for us!
Wingy Gaming So many notes O_o - Hollie
***** Hey Hollie! Can you add *seasonal change* to your notes? If planets have winters and springs, that will amp up the value of each planet significantly. Could you imagine just walking into a planet after a month and notice it looks completely different due to snow or climate change?
***** can the game be played without being connected online? Or is it required? It's a game I'd like to play without distractions from online stuff. Also my broadband is terrible lol.
John Mooney It's offline too. The only disadvantage that we know of is that you'll be cut off from other player discoveries.
What I'm wondering is, if or when I get to the centre of the universe, which is what obviously most people will be trying, when you get there there would be bound to be more people already there.... So would it be like an mmo in the centre?
well then, i can see the lagg already haha
well by the time a normal person gets there, theres bound to be hundreds if not thousands of people already there... ill try to get there straightt away and its not like ill be first
+Reezeyy that makes sence, they should make this instancing effect that WOW has.
+Reezeyy I think you're underestemating how long it wil take to get there
I have no doubts about this game now.
Who's going to be a space pirate too!?
+Alex Royalty I'm going to be the space pirate king and search for one piece
MunchMallow I wish you luck in finding it!
+Alex Royalty see you in space cowboy :p
+Alex Royalty bitch I will be Space Police so watch out nasty pirate.
+Alex Royalty I'm still waiting for a game 100% dedicated to being a trader hunting space pirate to come along. This will have to do until then.
Love the interviews and the knowledge your team at PSNA has given us. What a time to be a Playstation user!
0:36 That's what she said lol
Pffy
Your mum?
Man the more I see these vids the more exciting it gets. People need to get the idea out of their head that "this is going to get boring fast" and "Aww i can't play with my friends". 1.) You can find your friends it just may take a while, let it be part of the journey. If you and your friends start heading towards the center then there's more of a chance of you finding each other. 2.) Sean has stated in other videos that once you do reach the center a new aspect of the game is introduced that will make people want to keep playing. I'm so excited and thrilled by the mystery of it all. Too many people want the entire game served to them on a plate so they know whats coming.
Now to begin saving for a PS4...
I got my PS4 last year and it is awesome!! Greatness awaits you my friend!!
Crafted Circle Is this only for PS4?
VsVpVIPER don't quote me on this but it might be coming to pc, sadly Xbox players aren't getting it. BTW ps4 user
VsVpVIPER it is confirmed for pc. they haven't said anyting about it potentially coming to xbox
Dylan Scriven It is definitely confirmed for PC, and I believe (though they have not said outright) that it will eventually come to xbox. During their E3 presentation, they showed a screen saying "Console debut on PS4". They purposely avoided saying console exclusive
Holy! You said hi to me last year on my birthday! Can you do it again!! And keep up the great work!
Happy Birthday! :)
TimedOak30 Pen-blwydd hapus! (you get it in Welsh this year) - Hollie
TimedOak30 Who's Holy????
Hollie and the team, you guys made my birthday thank you so much. Who knows, maybe next year I'll get a sub from you guys... Haha. 😅
Hollie you are awesome and im happy you are a part of this channel keep up with the great work!
Hi Hollie!!!! Hi Dave!!!!!!!
peacesellsprod Hiiiii!!!! - Dave
what you'll be doing
1. visit a few planets and think this is cool
2. visit another and be like "huh ive seen this before"
3. realize that there are only so many variations of a plain planet, forest planet, jungle planet, desert planet, and ice planet until you see the same ones over and over again
4. realize there is no story to the game, no NPCs, all these ships battling have no context or characters and you cant even explore with your friends and any actual person you run into will blow you up on sight
5. realize you wasted your money on a boring overhyped game
Have you seen any information on this game lmao
OMG Your such a cynical
XD
Nikko Sacramento
yes, and if you dont buy into the hype and actually think then what i said is exactly what will happen
TheRealJMB If you NEED a story, you're looking at the wrong game. I don't need a story.
Hollie and Dave seem like a really good game journalists. This video has gotten me really hyped for the game. Thanks!
Can't wait for this game
I'm BEARy exited to fly around and find a big cave and drink dr.p mmmmm that's the life :)
I hate these kind of comments.
I can't BEAR them
You're not kind in the mind what can a bear that cares do to you .do you have a clue or are you feeling blue ;(
Your puns are unBEARable
O not that pun it's the 50 unBEARable pun I've seen XD
Bear hood21 Smokey the Bear did 9/11
Wow thankyouuu, that was the most informative No Mans Sky video I've seen so far, you guys talked about sooo many cool things!! Can't wait to play, I already have a name for my first planet =)
I might name some planets after Star Wars locations and l'm pretty sure that l'm not the only one who might do that.
+Tanner Barrett Why would that even do? this game isnt aiming to be a simuator
true, and it shouldn't be.
That's true, none the less this is gonna be great game lol
They said something like it takes like 5 years to explore ONE planet. It was something like that I can't really remember
I just want PS Access to this is probably the ONLY video and the first time that actually tells us what you do in the game.
I hope there's at least one way to connect with friends
Pray to god that we will
Get that
Sean said that there will be a multiplayer element, but they're not ready to reveal it yet.
***** Sean has actually said that they do plan to add more "conventional" multiplayer after realease soo, yay for that!
***** in an interview when sean was asked about it he seemingly brought up well you can go to the center of the galaxy but then it seems he withheld and didn't want to go further haha so idk there might be a link there but that's me just speculating... but he did say about after release and letting the game play out for a bit he will add things the community would like
Hello People of access hope u guys have an amazing day!!!
Mazeen Mohammed Thank you, you too! - Hollie
OMG! You've made my day!!
U guys never fail to make me smile :)
This video here was the best video ever made for the game no man's sky. It Seariously was a summary of what Sean murray has talked about for the past years. Great video to sum everything up
Better be more than just traveling around or players will get bored
+AceBoogz Gaming source
+Ian C We're all inclined to our own opinions. :) I think it's beautiful.
Space Engine is much larger and almost as detailed."
I'm not saying I don't want No Man's Sky, but some of the things people are surprised by have existed for a while in small, free games like Space Engine. I just want it for the procedural life.
Though I hope space ships will be as destructible as planets and asteroids, and not just flying models that explode.
ThatZommy this is meant to be a game not a simulator this ships will probably just explode
Urist McHuman falls down
Urist McHuman gives into pain
***** "100 percent fire"
This is the main issue I have with your comment.
Brendan Forish He seemed to imply with his "it has 18 guintilian planets" sentence that SE didn't.
Great work at E3 guys, really glad to see Access is continuing to grow and hopefully joined with a PS4 all soon.
What I don't understand completely yet, I keep hearing "If you're the first person there" but since the game is procedurally generated, how can anyone unknowingly visit a planet that anyone else has discovered if everyone's planets are unique? Especially if the game isn't "MMO."
kadajshm Just like space engine it uses a single seed. Like mandelbrot every universe is fully the same.
*****
I think asdf30111 has the right idea.
Erling W
From what I understand there is not actual multiplayer part to this game (besides, assuming you spawn randomly, the ingame universe is so large you'd most likely never see another person in your lifetime). The way I understand it is that everything you discover, when uploaded to the eh.. the thing, gets shared to everyone else who plays the game. That way, everyone knows you discovered the planet... if they ever come across it.
Wait until some EvE players like myself get together, and you'll see some real pirates.
Wow. I'm really impressed hearing these RPG elements to the game because it removes any doubts I had about the game. A lot of people are worried that this game may get boring over time, which is understandable but in my opinion that won't be the case at all
Shawn was right when he said the game is really coming together.
Assassin7787 I understand that, but "random" was just easier to say at the time.
Ghost Of Razgriz Thanks I'll look into that!
shinypear326 Not sure about Black Holes, barren lifeless planets are confirmed, I think you can chase comets, and yes you can land on asteroids and mine them.
If this game isn't a huge let down, this could definitely be my favorite game ever.
Yamik is it your favorite game?
I love your team. They're so fun and informative. Also, the accents are rad.
this reminds me of minecraft in a way, i cant wait to explore!
because of this im going to buy a console...
***** my computer sucks.. Console has cool games.. But PC can emulate... But still i have a slow computer...
It's on PC and PS4 only
+Gavin Foley it comes to Xbox next year.
+CONNXT248 aint nobody got time for that
+Gavin Foley ohh yah its on pc.. and its on steam..!
You get to the center zone of the universe and it's just Russell Brand floating 4 feet meditating with Tim Beiderbecke ironically bowing.
Looks good
It looks cool but I'm still lost as to what is the point.
See, this isn't for you. Yes there is a lore that explains the universe, but no story.
Awkward Catfish This is exactly my problem with this game. It looks really, really cool, but it also seems to have no depth to it whatsoever. Unless they show some cool features where you can interactive with the planets it better ways than they've shown, this game will probably get boring after a few hours.
PhantomAForce Than don't buy the game.
supersayian300089 I'm... going to wait for reviews and feedback on it? You seem pretty hostile.
PhantomAForce Hostile? No. You just seem to not be okay with not knowing about the game. The reason the information hasn't been spoon-fed to you is because the devs want you to find out about it yourself.
Thanks for the information. It's nice to get a better understanding of what this game is about. Great job.
The hype train has left the station choo choo
It will be boring
It will be interesting. :)
I think at first it will be interesting and after a year or so people will find nothing to do except explore.i hope we can find planet earth which has all the real buildings and countries.
Considering there are more then a thousand planets it won't be a problem considering I'm only going to upgrade my ship
More planets are bound to be added at later dates with DLC ect, I don't see this getting boring quickly
Will this game be on the Atari 2600?
No. Only on Nintendo
Wow! The point about the rotating planet was incredible! I can't wait to play this game even more now.
Darnit I wanted to get the whole community to destroy an entire planet by mining.
Hell the trolls might make the game better it would be much more fun for everyone to play close to each other and have huge fleet battles then explore the void by your lonesome for the rest of your digital days.
chances are you won't even make it to the center of the universe or anywhere close to it
+John Smith yaaaas this is so true i wanna build a troll tribe and start wrecking planets and destroying sentinels
Sabre Taigue again I say the trolling awaits I feel like people like are going to ruin the experience for everyone...
+John Smith the trolls would get owned, just saying.
TYVM Dave and Hollie! =D Great info video on an exciting upcoming game!
IMHO
+Jason Trimble You will have other people near you but they might not be your friends.
+Jason Trimble This is what I've been thinking, it'll be fun for awhile, but then it will get boring exploring and then gathering resources will become a chore... But they have said it will get harder and harder as you get closer and closer to the centre of the universe... I think they needed at least co-op in this game, then you could play with someone else and it wouldn't be as boring, but I can see why they don't have it...
just one question hollie can i play the whole game offline?
I'm going to find out for you ASAP! - Hollie
***** so, can you?
***** yes, I really had. and thank you
10 hrs l8r
Thank you all for your hard work bringing us suscribers all the great videos over E3, hope you guys are all having a blast and not ready for killing each other :)
"No Man's Sky: What You'll Actually Be Doing".... Absolutley nothing at all or the Sentinels will get you. :(
You can mine, but you are not allowed to, you can hunt, but you are not allowed to, you can´t even play with your friends.... Can´t wait to buy this game and just stand around doing nothing.....
N. Barrett Fanboi much?
Come on they make an open world sandbox game with destructible environments and hunting mechanics just to penalize you for for destroying the environments and hunt.
Best game ever! 10/10 IGN
:p
N. Barrett
Here is No Mans Sky, heres a mining tool, that you are not allowed to use, heres a hunting rifle, that you are not allowed to use. Fun right?
So there will be designated planets where you can do all of these things, but what if you
don´t want to live on that planet? Too bad heres the Sentinels telling you otherwise.
And all those planets that you are allowed to do what you want on, how many are those? 10,100 or 1000? No matter because there will not be enough of them for us all.
So you will have the choice of just walking around Sentinel guarded planets or share a planet with 100s of other players.
100s of players fighting over the same resourses and not to forget all those funny Grifers who only play the game to destroy for others.
This game will be fun for about six months and then it will be just another "Meh" game.
BolinFoto
You are too stupid for words. Have a great life being a moron. Tell your parents their DNA is worthless.
So if this is going to be a single player experience because it's so big that you'll never see anyone else, why are they making it multiplayer?
It's not impossible to meet other players, and if other players destroy beacons or space stations and stuff, it will stay that way for other players.
+GoldPepper well then I think people will just run into empty planets before long, we all know their will be some dick who destroys everything.
+Grandpa Joe 18 quintillion planets.... You think it will really matter if a person decided to ruin a planet or two?
+Ian C that's just a fancy way of saying no MP, it's not MP. he says it will come later.
+walmartian wait so does that mean that multi player is confirmed to come at some point
Learned a great deal from this video, awesome reporting!!! Can't wait for No Man's Sky! 😃
PLANETSIDE 2 TOMORROW
So I'm confused is it online or not
It is online, but you're most likely never going to find anyone because the universe is so big.
+Chris R. Witt So what's the point of it being online then?
I think there are no servers, just one humongous server. And even then it would be difficult to find other players. Best game of forever.
+GoldPepper you will find your friends , just take time to get a hyperdrive and hop on the same solar system !
But the planets are huge af so even if you get on the same planet how will you find your friends
I look at this and feel blown away and intemidated at the same time
doesn't seem like it should be a full priced game
+me700gnomes I know right? It should be more!!
It's definatley full price. And it deserves it. It's got more content than u can ever live to see
If this is a universe how is the objective to get to the centre, there is no centre to the universe IRL so why would there be one in game.
Center of the galaxy. Not universe.
Every point of the universe is the center
Daniel Poursasan That's the observable universe, not the whole universe. Nobody is really sure where the center of the universe is, assuming there is one, but it's not every point at the same time
Well if you think about the big bang theory (not the show :p) wouldn't the center of the universe be where it all started?
Antonio Adame actually, it started everywhere, but everything was very dense
I'm so excited for this game, Everything i read and hear about it makes it sound like one of my dream games that i never thought would exist. I can see myself playing for years going from planet to planet mining, exploring, and fighting. Its the kind of game I've always wanted as a kid growing up watching Star Wars and Star Trek.
If I discovered a planed and I was the first person there how are the "Sentinels" there to punish me for my actions?
+sno0p3r That is part of the lore.
+Lord Sir Crumpet I would call it "cliche" instead of lore.
sno0p3r How? Also I think it is confirmed to be part of the lore.
+Insert Name Here Because I was interested in the game.
Thanks for covering this game folks. No Man's Sky looks to have nearly limitless potential and it's mind boggling how big the thing is. I absolutely can't wait!
that intro screen - perfect. that sound is epic.
With a game this big, and a game this diverse, who's going to want to simply trade between a small cluster of stars? Being a fighter would be cool, but I just want to explore this place - it's what I do in every game, and this game is the pinnacle of that. Getting to the center of the universe is going to feel very satisfying.
Can't wait. It feels new, fresh and a game of truly open space. Been a very long time since I felt that about a game
Forget that center of the universe stuff. I'll just be chilling out on my own personal island planet.
this game is already the most ambitious piece of software ever. don't rush it. take your time to make it perfect.
This is going to be an amazing game, thanks access for keeping everyone updated on all the new games coming up 😆
hearing new things like planet rotations (yes that is maybe small but seriously awesome) just makes me that much more excited.
I could imagine searching a planet far away from everything and then goining there if your life currently sucks ,just to enjoy the beauty of the nature.
i just wish there was a fourth type: colonizer
able to set up settlements, put people in the cargo hold, deposit them, warp back a few days later to see the town starting, and explorers start to map out the planet. that would be so cool
when i saw the first trailer i thought it didnt look to good but it is the game i have been looking for since i starting gaming a massive open world game
I haven't heard much about this game. Glad to know know there's more info now. :)
I hope this game ends up having a fast-ish way to link up with friends. Like having the galaxy divided into sections based on proximity to the center, and you can quick travel to a friend only if he's in a zone you've been on. Like, the furthest away from the center is zone 1, all the way to 100 or whatever.
Amazing and I cannot wait to explore everything I can out there!
Anyone know what song is in the background? Absolutely blissful. Almost Tycho-esque.
+Maechyl Lloyd I'd love to know, too!
