As a lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania I completely agree with everything you’ve said here. However, on the wildlife topic, deer are becoming more and more common in suburban areas and even in the city parks around Pittsburgh. With less natural forage available in suburban areas, the deer will willingly consume your flowers and shrubs. Also, missing from your wildlife warnings are the abundant wild turkeys. These are large birds that can cause tremendous damage to your automobile in a collision. With all that said, I would not consider living anywhere else.

Thanks for watching
Lowering the gas tax ? That's a good one .
Look it up, they’re planning to do so. Thanks for watching, Mike.
Never gonna happen!!😂
Gas is always cheaper in Jersey
Pennsylvania is a very diverse state. Erie which is on the Great Lakes is as far away from Philadelphia as you can get.
Taking a trip this summer hoping to move within the year.
That’s exciting! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help when it comes time to move!
Silly questions
Does it take a long time for an ambulance to come in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania poconos?
Do state police take a long time to respond to accidents in the mountains?
It would take them longer there than a populated area, yes.
@@Philadelphiasuburbs The Poconos are pretty populated these days, aren't they?
@@angela-ti1np
a simple Google search
@@angela-ti1npThe Poconos is basically west jersey now, completely run over by front platers(NYers mostly). That being said, the PSP barracks is at least 15-20 miles north of Stroudsburg, & their AO is immense. Response suffer as a result, as well as lack of medical facilities.
@@chizoramaDepends on where in the Poconos you are. I lived in JT and we had a hospital in Lehighton and one in Coaldale. EMS, Fire, and PD times were exceptional.
only bad road condition is a problem to me. nothing else.
Hated living in the Dover/York area!😡 45 minutes to travel 9 miles. Rude and unfriendly. Tax on real food! Taxes on taxes! And I from western NY! Way more to live in Pa!
Come to PA!
Born and raised in PA winters, are too long for me. The allergies are pretty intense. The spring and the fall are beautiful and I like summer. We had a very big influx of people moving from New York, and New Jersey to the Eastern PA area so we have a lot of farmland being sold and houses being built. the roads are not being expanded enough for all the extra traffic. Unfortunately, some people did not conform to the area and brought their attitude with them they drive recklessly and are rude.
I appreciate your opinion, thanks for watching!
no actually some of the larger cities in Pennsylvania have deer herds that walk though downtown
You got it! It’s nuts 🦌
Where ?
@@seancrowley1065
Allentown has a herd that commutes from around American parkway to other parks in the city sometimes through the center of the city ,I think i've also seen picture of them in Harrisburg and Scranton. They tend to do it in the middle of the night but sometimes are seen during the day
It’s relative. Washington DC is much hotter and it gets hotter as you move south. Winters are mild compared to New England. You are spot on about the gas tax, though.
I live in pennsylvania and its epic 😎
I agree! Born and raised here?
Where in PA?

Pennsylvania great place to live born and raised most of my life
I go to PA yearly to one water park. I wonder what is a great place for family and town to walk around and education .
I love Pennsylvania
Thank God for 4 seasons..
just want to warn you. In Pittsburgh you will see a lot of deer with all the little forestry areas tucked into the hills

I know I moved to Vermont from pennsylvania
How have you liked PA so far?
I think Illinois was number two for highest gas tax, I believe Pennsylvania was number three..
That must have changed. I appreciate the update!
You don’t like the weather in Pennsylvania…..wait 5 minutes

I’ve never tried it!
@@Philadelphiasuburbs There's a place just north of me in Hazleton, Hazel Park, we take a hind quarter up there and they cure and double smoke it. We get it back in a net, it's deer ham, out of this world.
if you move from out of state, how long before the state allows you to get a job ? some places have the 183 day policy.
There’s no limit. You can get a job in PA before you move here if you’d like
what? where is this a thing? sounds unconstitutional. 🍻
I live in pa. My town is great. Memorial down the street from where I live, a park not so far. Police, EMS, and FD near the park. 3 schools around town. My town is Jim Thorpe. I didn’t always live in Jim Thorpe. My town is full of different things. I’ll try to stay there but if I have to leave town I’ll try to find a town nearby it or I can visit it.
JT is NOT like it used to be. If the memorial is down from you then you're not actually a JT resident. I lived on West 9th street in the Boro and it's changed, not for the better either.
Don’t forget about the Amish throughout the state. Driving can be frustrating!
In some areas, yes
Pennsylvania has the most breweries of any state besides California
PA has deer. Australia has Kangaroos, wild camels , goats and horses. Seems to be animals in all states and countries. I'd love to see PA.

It can sometimes be brutal, you’re right. Thanks for watching
Try Texas. 😅
PA resident here, we have liquor stores just like anywhere else. I’m not sure what this dude is on about
Correct, we have liquor stores aka state stores… the only place to buy hard liquor in the state. Most other states sell it in gas stations, grocery stores, etc.
Crazy drivers are everywhere
Very true
The liquor laws have come a long way.
They certainly have
Well don’t come to Florida! I had no allergies living in Pa but I got all kinds of allergies because everything grows all years and it can be bad. You see the accumulation of pollen build up in your car windows
