I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
Last year I moved from northern NJ to a town in Bradford County PA after retiring a few years ago. It has all the advantages stated in this video. Housing and property taxes are much lower than the state average. The Guthrie Clinic/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre PA is a highly rated major regional medical center. There are a lot of small towns of various sizes in the county.
I believe Lancaster has a good rated hospital but that it a little further out from the area that I service. If you need a great agent recommendation for the Lancaster area, I would be happy to get you in touch with someone! Email me corybenhardt@kw.com
Yes, there are! The first “Retire in PA” video I made goes over that. This one that you commented on was the second one. Where in PA are you thinking about moving to?
@@PhiladelphiasuburbsI know you know better than to let someone like her get to you. 🙄Thanks for putting the helpful information together. My great-grand uncle Benjamin Riegel founded Riegelsville and I'm interested in moving back to Bucks county.

@@zubairadamu2477 That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@@VivekLuna My advisor is VICTORIA CARMEN SANTAELLA;
You can look her up online
Nah I Can't say I can relate, VICTORIA CARMEN SANTAELLA charge is one-off and pretty reasonable when compared to what I benefit in returns.
You should have also mentioned the proximity to Delaware. They have some beautiful beaches, the tax free shopping, etc
Yes, of course!
I have lived in Pennsylvania my whole life I never want to live anywhere else I love it here so much to do and I'm 70
That’s great to hear! Thank you for watching.
Just to clarify, I will be retiring from teaching at 54 years old with a state pension. PA apparently fully taxes pensions until you turn 60.
That’s great to know. Thank you!

There are a lot of beaches in Presque Isle State Park on Lake Erie.
Presque ise beaches and water are clean ?
I disagree on the pothole issue. as a Pa native I worked in Mass, which is by far WORSE than Pa for potholes.
I can’t imagine a place worst for potholes than PA lol

I’m retired and my wife will be retiring June 2024. We are thinking about the Lancaster area. Do you have any information about that area? Thanx
That’s very exciting, congratulations on retirement! Unfortunately, no I don’t have any videos on Lancaster yet.
