      @@TheOutdoorGearReview Need a table and want a grill something too? Vargo folding grill. Titanium makes it light, while it folds flat and can be either a grill or a table. Some folks just don't want to put their stuff on dirt. Not a sales pitch. Just a honorable mention that is lighter and does more than one trick.

    I've used this little table for 2 years. It's taken a beating and still holds up strong. I pair this also with a small windscreen and small plastic cutting board (from a dollar store) that I cut to match this table. I also have a titanium table that goes into the same bag that weighs just a couple ounces

    I've had this table since last winter, I too like it a lot, very handy keeping things clean and off the ground. I'm not an "ultralight" person so it's weight is of little concern to me, it's not heavy. Always opens and closes flawlessly. I saw it on someone's RUclips vid in Europe with no attention drawn to it and hunted for it. I too got it for around 40,cant remember where from. Thought it was a bit much till I got it. Glad I did.

    Saw this table in one of your other videos and knew I had to have a couple of them, his and hers. Previously owned the ubiquitous mini camp table made in china rebranded by dozens of companies but wasn't a fan of the sharper edges and the faff of clipping it together. These are silly money to purchase and import to the UK but they make me happy every time i use them.

    Hi Luke, great review (as always!) thanks :-)
    I'm a great fan of Soto stoves (I have the Windmaster and Stormbreaker), but recently had a rather bad experience with their cookware. I think that due to increased worldwide demand, Soto outsourced their pots to China and the quality took a dip. Some kind of chemical in the nylon warmer that came with the pots corroded the anodization. No response from their customer service (in Germany).
    Another Japanese brand I love is Snow Peak. I got their Ozen Solo table, which does require some light assembly, but packs down a lot thinner and weighs only 9.5 oz (270 g). They also make really nice titanium mugs and camping gear!
    Keep it up, Luke! I always look forward to your next videos!

    Soto's table is perfect for picnic hikes and car camping. Putting it down next to a folding chair, etc. makes for a sweet set up. I'd put Soto (as brand) into the same category with the Japanese division of Coleman, Snow Peak, etc. Items that are: Non-disposable/made for multiple uses, slightly on the luxury side of camping, appearance and form/function all taken into account.

    I am 77 years old, I need /want comfort. When I canoe camp I use chairs, tents, stoves that require space. I can use the canoe as a table, shelter,etc. but I don’t because I am prepared for the worst (scouting) I even plan for an extra days food and a can of tuna squirrelled away in my pack. I guess I’m more engaged in enjoying the outdoors than stressing out about surviving.

    I saw this and looked useful in previous videos and so went looking in AliExpress. I could not find the exact same one but they have a similar one but with manual legs that only costs about $14 delivered, which I decided was cheap enough to take chance on! Also these ones have one extra feature you can lock two together to make a bigger table, so in fact I order two. I haven't got them yet but looking forward to trying it. The only con I saw so far seems to be a lack of a bag.
    I like the windbreak storage idea - also prevents it from damage as it's easy to bend them if you aren't careful.

    • @stewartrv
      @stewartrv 4 года назад

      @@carmenmartinez2882 Yeah that sure is useful if you don't have one. But I already had it before the table, and I use the stove on the table as it's more stable than directly on the ground - so then the windbreak is handy to keep. BUT your method is great for using a stick stove I'm never going to have that on the table!!
