And I had to modify a few moves, just to make it through the interval (those Donkey Kicks are absolute KILLERS for me!! ). But these are the kind of workouts I like, the ones that challenge me. Ok, this workout was f@#king hard!! Yes, I feel like it's been a while since I've done a full-on cardio HIIT. I did one the other day, but it wasn't nearly as intense as this one. I think a lot of the videos out there nowadays say they're "HIIT", when in fact they're just cardio. It kind of bugs me! Regular cardio is fine, you shouldn't be doing HIIT every single day anyway, but I think some people are confused as to what HIIT actually is. It's going full-on intense, until you are at your absolute max, then taking a short rest, and getting back to it again. Thanks for a REAL HIIT, Tracy! It was amazing!! I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your family member. It is never an easy situation to get through, and honestly, you never really are "through". But it is especially tough making it through those first days/weeks/months. I am glad that your family can be there for each other, it can make all the difference, I think. I converted this into Moderate Intensity Interval Training (I don't even think that is a thing, but it is what I could handle today!) by eliminating some of the jumping and just squatting enthusiastically. It was great, and I look forward to doing it full-on...in a few days ;o)
