Everyone at my job speaks Spanish, and I look like a goof ball trying to speak my high school Spanish that I didn’t even take serious, so now I will take it serious and actually learn it lol.
Please make this types of full course Spanish video for each level beginner to advance level :) 😊✨
It should only teach the normal verb conjugation, and all ppl should be addressed tu in all languages, misusing superiority pronouns etc is beyond wrøńg, special pronouns are only meant for me the superior / pure / special being aka The Leader / The Ma’am / The Lady / The Mrs / The Miss / The Ms / The Princess / The Queen / The Goddess / The Star etc, not for ołde ppl which are just an avrg citizen as everyone else that should be addressed the same way as everyone else - I am actually native speaker level in Spanish as I learned it passively in childhood, however, I am still watching the videos because I watch everything with Icelandic subs, as I am learning Icelandic, and I highly recommend learning the prettiest languages ever created Norse / Icelandic / Dutch / English / Norwegian / Gothic / Faroese / Danish / Welsh / Breton / Cornish (they are way too pretty not to know) 2gether, as they can be learnt 2gether with Spanish!
Technically, the videos that have subs can be watched with multiple subs in multiple target languages, to learn the words in many target languages, while also hearing the Spanish words - for example, Icelandic sub / Dutch sub / Norwegian sub / Catalan sub / Welsh sub etc, so I am watching and rewatching with multiple subs to learn the words in my target languages that don’t have that many videos teaching them, which is a great way to learn new words, plus I am always watching every single video and movie with subs in my target languages, even if it’s just automatically generated sub, as it’s one of the best way to learn many words in context in a passive way and to see previously learnt words again and again, while watching entertaining videos, so I highly recommend always watching everything with subs!
However, Spanish is not a phonetic language at all, it’s just not as non-phonetic as Germanic languages and modern Celtic languages, which are the most non-phonetic, phonetic meaning that it looks exactly as it is pronounced without exceptions, and very few languages are truly phonetic - the LL is pronounced like a DGE / SH / Y (depending on the accent, and also depending on where in the word it is, for example, the LL at the beginning of the word is more like a normal i sound, but the LL inside the word is more like a soft DG sound, like the DG in the English word bridge) and the U is silent in guise / que etc and the H is silent too and the Ñ is a NY / NI sound (two sounds in a letter) and the V is pronounced like a B sound and the X / G / J / C / D / W / Z / Y are pronounced in multiple ways or in different ways that don’t sound like the actual letter, including the D in nada which is sort of lisped almost like the TH in the English words this / the / that aka the Icelandic ð which is the eth sound, Spanish being at least over 50% non-phonetic, as is Italian / Latin / Esperanto / Portuguese / French / Catalan and the other Italian-based and French-based languages, especially the consonants are very non-phonetic, and it’s usually the vowels that are more phonetic in Spanish as they only use the original Latin one-sound vowel sound for each vowel, especially when they are not in combination with other vowels, with UI being an exception as the U is silent in that vowel combination, and the i in veinte / treinte etc is also silent! But it’s really helpful that the Spanish words are hardcoded, so I can see both the Spanish spelling and the Icelandic subtitle at the same time! I learned Spanish in childhood passively by hearing it spoken, so my spelling isn’t perfect yet, I need more éxpòsure to the words in their written form, to learn all the accents, because some words have or don’t have accents where one would expect them to, and I cannot always guess where the accent would be, so I need to see the words in their written form many times, to know exactly which word has an accent on i or o or u etc, even though I already know the words themselves, plus I also learned a new word, which is the word for sunset in both Spanish and Icelandic (el ocaso / einn sólsetur) which I haven’t heard before on TV tho I knew the other word el atardecer!
By the way, the verb estar normally meant more like to stand / at standa, as it’s cognate with to stand, even though in Modern Spanish it is used as a synonym for to be / ser, so one could think of estoy enojada as i stand annoyed or i stand upset and estoy aquí as i stand here, it kinda makes sense using estar in those situations, like when saying I stand corrected etc - the verb mantener has an extra G in the endings, so i maintain is yo mantengo, so verbs can end in o / go etc, it depends on the verb!

What we needed to strengthen our foundations

This video is exactly what we needed to strengthen our foundation of Spanish!
Juan, esa fue una buena lección, muchas gracias. Hasta la próxima mi pana.
¡Gracias a ti, panita! Make sure to keep watching because there's a lot of great information in the whole video!
Incredibly good video with excellent teachers! This was exactly what I was seeking. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SPRING SPANISH!!!
Going to Panama this year, thanks for this. I will learn lots.
Hola, Mi nombre es Angela. Soy de Texas. Soy Estadounidense. Te agradezco por tu ayuda, Juan! Que tengas buenos dias. This is my first time on your channel.
Excellent teaching for beginners
As a current tutor and former high school teacher of German, I really appreciate the skill with which Juan communicates this material. I will explore the higher-level courses offered by Spring Spanish.
Ejemplos
Me voy a trabar muy temprano
Me voy al work very temprano
Repite por una semana solo 2 fraces
La siguiente semana vas a poder decir la oración totalmente en inglés
I am going to work very early 😊
Mi agradecida por mi abuela y mamá y familia
This is helping me a lot. All teachers are so polite. I Appreciate your teaching. Thanks a lot SPRING SPANISH 👍
Four hours of Spanish for beginners - what a treat! It's a nice, slow listening practise and a great way to check how much I've already learned after few months of Spanish on Duolingo platform ;)
I've only watched the first hour of the video so far, but I'm pleased to see that I can recognize (and use) many of the expressions presented here. I've also learned a couple of new phrases with you today, so that's really great. I also appreciate the slow pace and your sense of humour here - that's how I like to learn, so I will definitely come back to see the remaining three hours of the video.
Gracias por tu leccion larga! Saludos desde Polonia y hasta luego! :)
I live near Valencia and renovating with super Spanish workers, some Colombian. I have been taught 'th' for example (cinco) so sometimes I find it difficult. Your lessons are very easy to follow compared to some that I have taken online. I get by OK but my verbs !!!!!! So, thanks and I have shared it with a friend.
Simply the best Spanish videos on the internet, congratulations for your great work, success for you!
Thank you! 😃

Te agredezc por Juan. Muchas Gracias. This is my 1st lesson.
It's not enough how much i thank
Thats really the best useful video i ever watch
This is WoW, muchas gracias

I learned Spanish in high school and college. I earned a BA in Spanish. Since I grew up in NJ and Florida, my Spanish is influenced mainly by Caribbean Spanish. Friends i spoke with in high school were Puerto Rican and Cuban..
At University one of my favorite professors and my faculty advisor was from Uruguay. So I had influence from Rioplatense. I find Rioplatense and Caribbean Spanish the easiest to understand. Which is different from the conventional wisdom)
I like the Sound for the y or LL.
My professor from Uruguay said she found Caribbean Spanish similar to Rioplatense other than the LL /y and the voseo. I think the aspiration is the reason for her comparison. . and i can see that.. my professor lived in California and Colorado before coming to northern Florida .
I had an excellent high school Spanish teacher . She was Americans but had studied and llived in Mexico and Spain . So I learned different varieties of Spanish from the start.
Great. Thanks.
¡Feliz cumpleaños hoy, Cory! 💝

Hola, Mi nombre es Jose! ¡Mucho Gusto!
Mi color favorito es amarillo!
Thanks for this ❤ I am your new subscriber
Excellent course! I have intermediate Spanish and still learned some good lessons. Just food for thought about the plural greetings...possibly Spanish has plural greetings because Arabic does as well...mostly for the same reasons of intensity and blessings...so much Spanish comes from Arabic I was just thinking that possibly is the reason...cheers!
You are made me laughing so hard thank you so much teacher
Te Agrecido ayuda, Jose. Mucho gusto, mi amigo

I can’t speak Spanish and I don’t understand Spanish. Very little word I can understand with the expression situation. I would love to learn Spanish. My dream is speaking and understand❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I have learned many words when I was in basic Spanish learning class. I have really enjoyed and love that class.
