Agreed I’m surprised Tyrone likes it makes no sense and if it’s such a good weapon why haven’t we seen it before? Probably because George would have thought it was stupid and not a sophisticated weapon.
This is the problem with doing a show 100 years before the movies. If they introduce anything new, the first question is if this is so good why don’t they have this 100 years later? Lightsaber whip, cortosis armor, Jedi reading minds, etc. It’s a good thing the Jedi kinda forgot how to read minds otherwise the movies would have never happened because they would have figured out Palpatine was the Sith Lord in 5 minutes.

@@erikdayne5429reason why Jedi couldn’t figure out that Palpatine is Sith Lord because Palpatine utilised the force concealment his identity and his presence in the force while clouding the force for the Jedi. Remember when Yoda said about the dark side clouded from their presence in AOTC episode 2, so yeah that how he hide his identity.

So that SHE can communicate with the radio????? When it was Sol that was the one who cared to make contact… OH WAIT but now he doesn’t for some strange unknown reason! Now suddenly he cuts off communication and goes silent… it’s so dumb

Remember Lumiiyas(?) multi-whip? The saber energy flowed down the metal cords and she used the Force to control the cords themselves. Luke had a hell of a time trying to cut her in half.
They have so much raw material in the EU / Legends to adapt, they really should get to just doing that.
But then they couldn't check boxes and make Jedi powerful one moment and garbage the next if it fits their narrative.
Yeah if they went back to the old republic they would have dozens of Jedi and Sith to choose from, and it wouldn’t contradict the lore where the Sith had been gone for a thousand years before the prequels

I honestly forgot this show was happening even after last weeks episode. It wasn't until close to midnight last night that I remembered and I didn't even watch the episode. I just watched Theory's review of it to save myself the pain.
You know the sad part is that might be the only time we see the whip in action based on how this is written. I have low expectations of being able to see more of the cool stuff.
Nah there’s gonna be a fight between the green Jedi and Smilo Ren for sure. She was his previous master, possibly a secret Sith, and that scar on his back was from her whip. They’re gonna have a showdown later so Qimir can get his “revenge”.

New Star Wars writers seem to be sure that this is a story where good and evil concepts can be grey. But it is not, Star Wars is about the constant hardships of being good vs letting yourself be controlled by your emotions.
These concepts are something people like the writers of this show can't fathom. As they feel personally attacked by Star Wars core ideas and the need for self control. This is the reason why they embelish the dark side of the force and criticize the light side of the force.
Bad people can't talk about what GOOD is, they can only complain about it.
I'm having a good time watching the show and then watching everyone's reactions and reviews. It gives me something to do for a few weeks.

They stole the whole “Jedi only draw their lightsabers when they’re prepared to kill” from samurai movies. That’s part of the bushido code, that you don’t wave your sword around like it’s a toy and you only pull your sword if you’re prepared to kill with it. That’s why sometimes in samurai movies they’ll flick the sword out of the scabbard like an inch or two, that’s a warning to their opponent that they’re prepared to draw their sword meaning they’re prepared to kill.

Not sure how you got 'blinded by their hate' from a Star Wars fan not believing lightsabers can kill people anymore. That's literally what Disney have taught us to believe, how would that mean anything else? We've literally seen 2 main characters survive being stabbed, one of them survived twice 😂 it's not exactly unreasonable to think they have no idea what they're doing anymore and anything could happen at this point.
