The prequels had some problems. The Disney films/projects ARE a problem.

A pod ejecting would have zeo effect on the ship if it's launching with it's own thrusters. It would only affect the ship if the ship somehow propelled the pod out with some sort of pressure mechanism. It makes more sense that the pod left under it's own power. It's like rocket launchers have no recoil because the rocket is exiting under it's own power.
You realize pretty much every disney tv show or movie with star wars has one a strong female character. That female character is always very intelligent and they show this by them being some technical genius that can engineer anything in a blink of an eye. They have this in Ashoka, Sabine, Hera, Bix from Andor, Leia from obiwan and etc. All of which has the same exact basic story and apparently the same skill that they can easily do tech. This is why the show is always shit because they can't make another female that isn't strong and intelligent. They all got to be very strong and intelligent.

Lucas didn't sell an entire company because of prequel backlash, if that was the case he would have sold it in 2006.
He mentioned in an interview why he sold Lucasfilm, and it had nothing to do with fans.

Deep space means outside of a stars influence. So past the Ort cloud is deep space relative to us.
We haven't had strong enough life support or accidents in space to really know how fire works in space if feed alot of oxygen.

the High Republic is an era made up by Disney. Instead of doing something with KOTOR they went this route and continue to Retcon the lore. Destined to fail from the start.

It's really just "The Old Republic" era in general. KOTOR was simply a segment of that greater, larger era all of us loyal, longtime, ardent fans know and love.

The High Republic features a character, Geode, that is a sentient rock. Not The Rock. Not a rock person like Korg from Thror: Ragnarok or Ben Grimm from Fantastic Four, or an Earth Elemental from Dungeons and Dragons, it's just a fugging rock. So, no. The High Republic is not good.
The blueprint was laid out for Disney with all the “Legends” lore out there when they bought Star Wars, yet they chose to try to be special and do their own thing, and now we are just left with a collection of shows and movies that can barely ever reach above average in quality. It’s pretty sad tbh

Between KOTOR and Episode 1, you have about 4000 years of "untouched" lore that no one wants to deal with because Lucas allowed some work but it's uncharted thus everyone was afraid to go in that timeline. But it was the usual Sith try to rise and the Republic does fuck all, Sith win but tear themselves apart and repeat. Howver, Lucas once mentioned there was a technological collapse and the galaxy hasn't fully recoveres but we do not exactly know why. Now with Disney, I have zero clue was is canon as they dismissed Lucas and then cherry pick what to keep.

Thank you Tyrone for finally explaining to me why George Lucas sold the rights to Star Wars to Disney. It all makes sense now. Nothing destroys a franchise more than incompetent executives and toxic fans. And dare I say, Star Wars fans got what they deserved.

The only good projects that Disney Star Wars have done is Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2, Andor, Rouge 1 and some of the animation. All the rest can go to hell.
The fan backlash over the prequels is really disappointing. When episode 1 came out I was in elementary school, when episode two came out I was in middle school, sophomore in high school when episode three came out, I thought they were really good. I did however notice that attack of the clone’s was slightly my least favorite but theres still really epic stuff that took place in that movie that set up the clone wars and the events of episode three and into the original trilogy. No movie is perfect. Fans were too hard on George 😢

A lot of the prequels felt like hand holding for new viewers in the story, but today stuff is just incoherently copy-pasted noise.
