I really enjoyed how you did the video! I think it's nice to see how creating real models and drawing from real life helps with learning shadows and form. I gruelingly worked my way through Scott Robertson's "How to Draw" so that I could better learn 3D shapes (my will very much died going through it, but we survive!!). Drawing from real life is a great way to observe everything up-close! (quick edit for grammar)
This means a lot! It was definitely hard uploading this video with my voice in it publicly, and i still cant watch it all the way through, so i really appreciate this. I almost took it down but decided to leave it up and just keep improving with time :). I'm also going to check out that series! I haven't seen many tutorials focused on capturing dimension, so that sounds helpful.
@@oliibomb It's a book series that haunts me haha--but I was glad to have gotten a lot down because of it and that proko/artwod video about the 6 steps to draw anything. And of course! It can be really anxiety-inducing the first time speaking, but we keep improving!
