Probably one of the creepiest videos I’ve seen in a long time. Why the goose down? But I’ll try this in the morning, a different take on this issue for sure.
Hey, I have a similar problem, HP Prodesk doesn't power on, when I press the power button it turns on a light .... That same light switches off after I release the power button but PC doesn't piwerup
I have a new HP Pavilion, Power button bad design. Can't start or if computer working, Can't power down. TP01-2234. Button is flat and your finger can't move it. You have to use your fingernail. My tech guy said to return it. It is a bad design. I did.
My pc turns on and everything but it doesn’t show on the monitor, it isn’t the display adapter because I tried it on a different pc. The fans in my pc turns on along with everything else but nothing appears and the monitor says that the vga cable isn’t there
In that case First unplug ram and clean it then plug it (if didn't work) Then power supply or motherboard is damaged or hdd is corrupted, then you need a pc technician for that
Video card, dirty ram, or motherboard itself, could contribute the problem. The easy way to figure out problem is, unplug attached devices one by one, clean the ram slots, blow out the dust, etc.
My HP pavilion turns on, but the monitor doesn't. The power light on the monitor doesn't turn on and the monitor continues to be blank if I try to turn it on. I've tried three different cords (the ones with the screw things on the sides that needed to be tightened into the computer), and none of them fixed the problem. I can't find anything helpful when I look up how to fix it.
Looks like yours is not a power problem. Probably need to check on video and PCI bus. HP p6228p motherboard has video, PCI bus, and/or power switch control issues. These issues could cause PC won't start.

It could be the videos card problem. Since most of the HP pavilion PC has video integrated on motherboard, you may try take the approach as this video shown, see if the problem can be fixed. If not, then the on board video card is dead.

Yeah, the problem shown in this video could be related to probably the one defect in motherboard design in certain model(s). That's why some have the problems fixed, but others don't.
It actually worked you just saved my job lmao thank you
My pleasure!
Thank you sir, even though it was a bit confusing it helped me fix mine.
Glad it helped
Thanku so much , it worked for me.

Hooooo thanks man this video 👍👍👍
No problem 👍
There is green light showing in my board when I plug in the power cable but the power button doesn't respond not the fan spinning
Did you check the power box? I would check the power box first.
If power box is OK, try unplug power cable from PC back, then push the power button for 30 seconds. Plug power cable back, try power on PC.
This worked for an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 desktop tower. Problem was Power light would stay on when button held, but desktop never booted drive.
Glad to see the problem solved.

Hey robot
Hello, when I unplug the power supply cable and plug it back in and power it the light turns on and off and the fans turn on and off
Do you mean the PC power went on then off again? If that was the symptom, you'd better check on the power supply box itself.
I realized my memory sticks werent put in correctly, so i took it out and pushed it correctly down. lol
