This video is so necessary. Buildup on my fine hair happens within 2 days, without silicones. I wash more frequently to keep it down. Hard water buildup on the scalp really did a number on my hair after I moved to the desert. Wish I had known about buildup then.

I usually have scalp build up. I live a very active life style of working out and so my scalp sweats and mixes with the natural oils and products on my head. it gets itchy sometimes and odors develop but I can't wash my hair twice a week. That would sabotage my style and time that I don't have to redo my hair during the week. I stick to once a week. I love the Dramatizations by the way.

starlet russe My hair gets really dry and unmanageable unless I have my moisturizer product. I only use water and a leave in conditioner. Works really well for my hair. I probably should just use minimal amount.

A picture is worth a thousand words. If that doesn't motivate "I can go 6 weeker's" I don't know what will. I loved the video. I hope in the next one the word co wash will be said because I think some truly feel rubbing in some conditioner, Any conditioner counts as washing their hair. I mean put your hand on the bible and swear to tell the truth Believe that it does. And there is NO need for Shampoo. It's a scary, gooey, Aussie Moist conditioner filled world out here.

lmbo! :-D you made me laugh....but yeah, for some reason, co-washing makes me feel like I've *added* build-up to my scalp, rather than removing it 0_o

thanks for this knowledge. I would really love if you can recommend how often i should wash my 4c hair, i have dry scalp and I often end up with itchy scalp because of it, i try to avoid putting products directly on my scalp to prevent the itching because I've been told its bad. can you please give me some suggestions. thanks much.

She has a video on itchy scalps. But try raw apple cider vinegar & tea tree oil on your scalp. Giovanni tea tree shampoo also relieves my itchy scalp, but deep condition after it can dry the strands if you shampoo more than twice
