- Wayne and Shuster were a Canadian comedy duo formed by Johnny Wayne and Frank Shuster which was active professionally from the early 1940s until the late 1980s. This is a documentary about them made in 1999, hosted by Shuster.

Dad used to listen to the them on the radio, and later of course, we loved them on TV. Massive inventive talent and good dramatic /comedic flair, without vulgarity. Bravo, you guys, ... happy memories!
Have fond memories of watching this special around the turn of the millennium.
I watched them as kid here in Germany,and I still remember how funny they were. Great to have a good laugh again.😂

Remember them well. They were extremely unfunny and a national embarrassment. Thankfully, Dan Ackroyd, John Candy, Jim Carrey and others came along to redeem our pride.
Why are you even here? A national embarrassment? They had the highest rated comedy show in Canada during the 1970s and the highest rated radio program in Canada before that.
