    Hey Group,
    Getting back into the swing as Spring is in full force. We’re filming every day now and with the rains we’ve had, the growth of forests and wildflowers has been staggering. Check out our side channel:Barely Survival for additional projects and insights. Hope that all is well with everyone and that the summer allows everyone to go out and enjoy the outdoors.
    P.S. Failed to mention the slanted plate at the entrance that further narrowed the entrance on this trap. It is an important component that I hadn’t realized I’d neglected to feature.
    Till Next Time,
    Bob Hansler

    Not sticking your hand into a murky trap has always been instinctual - don't stick your hand into suspicious stuff, duh! But explaining that there might be bigger predators in the trap just made it click so well. It's one of those things that seems so obvious after you hear the reason why. Awesome video

    .............This vid was well worth waiting for.....nobody puts more effort and know how into ways to catch a meal to eat and survive. This crawdad trap, a stone fish trap and the stone oven you built seems to have some indigenous technology behind it. Your days growing up with the Scouts no doubt help too......but you also just seem to be a natural talent at living off the land......Your water must be warmer there than it is here in Central Texas.....I cringed when you got in there....but then, who said it's going to be warm conditions when you find yourself in a survival situation ?.....Good work on the camera, as usual, Shauna...and Huck is always a natural star of the show........Good work...anxious for more of the same .....

    • @BobHansler
      @BobHansler  5 лет назад +1

      It wasn’t too cool in there, but it’s usually warmer by this time of year. It’s enough for the crawdads as they crawled over my toes several times.
